The process is simple as, you can be in any part of the country to take part, all you have to do is:
Send in your old t-shirt to: PO BOX 137263, Parnell, Auckland, Attn: Recycle – together with your name and address/email.
· We ask that the old t-shirt be at least wearable (as it is going to someone from the City Mission), and without holes etc – Just think someone has to wear it, so be nice.
Once your old t-shirt has been received, we'll post/email you an individual $10 discount code that can be used on www.mrvintage.co.nz
All you have to do then is enter your individual discount code at the MrVintage checkout to receive your $10 discount.
Please note: You can only use one $10 discount per purchase.

Shutter shades take sunglasses to a new dimension. A fusion of past, present and future - these shades are in high demand world-wide. Seen on the likes of Mr. West and Ms. Hilton, shutter shades have firmly established themselves as this years coolest fashion accessory. Get some.

Before Katie, before Nicole, before Scientology - Tom Cruise was cool. At the height of his coolness he starred in 'Risky Business' and wore shades like these.
The craze is back, and all the celebs are rocking around in these rad shades. Let's just hope L Ron Hubbard doesn't get them too... Get in first.

We were talking this morning, and we realise that it's easy to jump on the 'environmental bandwagon'; so we went through a list of things we do, and more we could do to be more environmentally friendly:
· We recycle our bottles, plastics and cardboard
· We've donated over $7,000 to the Keep New Zealand Beautiful Society
· Andy walks to work, Amy car-pools, and Jay uses 'Green cabs' after a few drinks
· We use recyclable paper and re-use scrap-paper for notes
· We give customers re-usable bags and use them to go to the supermarket and dairy
· Send returned Courier bags back to Courier Post for recycling
· Turn all computers off at night
· Use recyclable courier bags where possible
· .....and Amy only showers every second day (way to take one for the team Amy!)
If you've got any other ideas on how we can be greener, or if you've know of any companies we should get in touch with robert@mrvintage.co.nz - we're always on the lookout for new environmental initiatives, so let us know if you've got any hot tips we should get on to.

Ally from Auckland snapped Kip from Shortland Street wearing our Keep New Zealand Beautiful t-shirt, here he is pictured cooking up some snarlers on the barby. Wow, he likes wearing them in real life and on-screen.

While Marija was checking out which glow-stick party to attend next, she stumbled upon this photo of DJ General Lee wearing our new Poppa Jacks tee! Good man General.

Hey look, there's Charlie from What Now wearing the Mr Vintage 'Be a Tidy Kiwi' Tee last Sunday! Good work to all of those who sent in this picture....there were a few, but the first to send it in was Albert from Timaru – good effort.

Yet another TV clip; this time it's ex-What Now presenter, now TV Ones Breakfast Weather Guy, Tamati. Congratulations to Sonya for being the sharpest cat out there, she got it in just before an influx of others.
Keep up the good work!

We're planning on making a series of t-shirts celebrating 'NZ Heroes', but there's so many New Zealanders worthy of recognition that we're at a loss...which is why we want to know who you think we should honour. Remember, your vote counts. Tell us here.

The Mr Vintage spotters have been keeping their eyes peeled big time since we started offering free tees – these lucky folk are getting free tees just for sending in their clips to spotters@mrvintage.co.nz!

Sachin found this image of Jermaine from Flight of the Concords wearing a Keep New Zealand Beautiful t-shirt. Nice spotting my man.

Check this one out – Bex spotted this lass wearing a "Longest Drink in Town" tee in the last ever edition of the West Coast Times. As of Monday the 4th it's changed to the Hokitika Guardian – Flash bro.

For all you Shorty fans out there, here's a picture of the hunky Dr Kip Denton (Will Hall) in the newspaper wearing our Big Lebowski "The Dude Minds, Man" t-shirt.

New Members
Mr Vintage are proud to welcome three new members in to the 'trust-tree' – that's right, the New Year has bought with it three exciting new employees. Amy, Emily, and Ellen will certainly add a lot of enthusiasm, femininity, exuberance and nice smell to the Mr Vintage team.
Amy started this week and will take care of the customer service side of things for us – so we are well stoked she's come on board. She's 23, studies law, and impressively once ate a whole block of 500 gram cheese for $50! Excellent.
Emily and Ellen, or Em and El as they are more affectionately known, are our part-timers who help us out whenever they can. They've been with us in a casual capacity for a month or two now, and they've done more than enough to convince us that they'll become treasured acquisitions. Being only 16 also means that Jay (at a manly 22) is no longer the baby of the family!
Marketing Help Wanted
We're looking for two highly competent specialists to help out with our marketing activities for 2008. We've got heaps of new initiatives planned for this year, so there certainly won't be any shortage of work. It's an awesome work environment, and you'll gain some really awesome hands-on marketing experience. It's a pretty close knit team, but once you're in, you'll feel like you've got a second family. You don't need to be a student – if this sounds like you, let us know by sending in your resume and cover letter to Robert@mrvintage.co.nz
Mr Vintage Spotters
We're launching a new initiative at Mr Vintage, and it centres on you kind folk getting involved. It's called the Mr Vintage Spotters club, and basically involves you lot looking out for Mr Vintage t-shirts in the media. In return for you sending in the clips, we'll give you free t-shirts. Pretty simple really aye. Any photos or references of any sort in any media from 2008 onwards, and you're in! Just email them in to spotters@mrvintage.co.nz or send them in to us at PO Box 137263, Parnell, Auckland.
