Current mood:  restless
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers
Here I am in my hotel, NOT the Hilton. Last time I was here, in 2001, I didn't stay at the hotel either.

Tomorrow I am up bright and early for the Archival Educators Forum at Catholic University.

Wednesday I check in first thing and then head to the Bookstore. I browse for a while. I like to eavesdrop on Committee meetings when I can. I am now on a subcommittee for the Pinkett award, so I am excited about looking at and evaluating the student nominees and their activities. Right now I plan on making it to the Metadata and Digital Object Roundtable meeting and stop in to the SAA Student Mixer. I like to see who is out there and where they go to school, and, I am a student myself...still working on that PhD! Today I read Archival Methods again and remember how that report of David Bearman's changed my life!
