Ok fellow blog hoes, since I have whored out my new profile, sacred snatch and many of you have added me, I am deleting my subscriptions from this page and adding them from the other profile. So I don't have double subscriptions and I can view them from there, instead of constantly flipping back and forth. Confusing, I know. Reminds me of the office move I just had to do. I don't know why I just didn't change my name here, but I guess I didn't think anything much was going to happen on the other profile, other than post some silly pics. Guess I am more popular than I thought. haha. So if you are the type who religiously combs though your subscriptions, (I know a lot of peeps who do) don't get all hyphy, cuz I am re adding you on "Sacred Snatch" mmmkay? And for all my down low super 007 undercover putas, please add me. I tried adding you, but you got your shit on lock down and I can't get inside. Salute! Yoli

I just wanted to give a shot out and let you know that I have another profile on myspace. I put it together for a more artistic outlet and to network with other creative peeps. I have only had it two weeks, and it is becoming a place where I have been hanging out lately. I have been working like a chica stuck in a sweat shop creating some products to sell at the Dia De Los Muertos Festival in Oakland (November 5th) I have also been networking there alot too. Long story short, if you want, please add my profile to your friends list. I will also be posting some photo blogs there of some of the "cosa's" that I am working on, so please subscribe too. I know I have cut back on blogging, and I will continue to blog , but I will prolly be hanging out alot at sacred snatch, so drop me a line. Orale, Viva La Arte. Oh, here is the link. I feel like I am so behind on bullshitting with all of you. I have a great picture blog I want to post. I went to the fair last week and took some killer photo's of some arte exhibits, but I have been working late every night. I'll try and do it soon.
Tonight I went to the horse races. A lender friend of mine invited me and Sharon to Dinner at the "Turf" club and an evening at the races. I won 14.00! Buuuuuuuuuuyeaaaaaaah!
Sharon and I finally made a decision on a new office location. We will be working in the midtown section of town, also known as East Sac. No, East Sac is not ghetto like most cities, rather it is very upscale and old school. Lots of charming homes built in the 20's through 40's. If I had big duckets, I would totally live there. It is also close to shopping and lots of good places to grub. Thanks for all the love I have been getting from some of my "Snatches", damn, I feel like I am dying or something. Do you all know something I dont? lol, j/k.
www.sacredsnatch.com is a new website I am working on. I just got the home page up, and prolly won't have time to do much else to it for a while. Not only that, I don't know much about web design, but they have some pretty easy sleazy templates to put up. I don't even know what I am going to do with the space, other than use it as a calling card for all my crafty and artsy fartsy snatches.
OK, Ima be MIA for a minute. I gotta go to bed, I have to get up at 4 am, cuz I am volunteering at a the Jalepeno golf classic tomarrow, then I gotta go back into town and move my shit to my new office, then I gotta buy some shit to take to my momma's for her "Bullshit" party! I am going to be hella spent! Saturday, I am spending the entire day with a client and Sunday, I gotta finish moving because they are changing the locks at our office on Monday Morning. (chingow) Somewhere in between, I gotta take the kids shopping for clothes, feed them, and clean the house, and try and act like I like my husband! Sheesh. I don't know when I will be able to craft again, but I'ma try!
Viva La Arte!

Yo everyone, I just wanted to give a shot out to one of my esmart myspace buddies, a.k.a. Tanya. The girl has some skills and designs all her web pages on and off of myspace. This is just a sampling of some of her mad skills. Isn't that the shizznet? lol. I told her to send me a link to her page so I can pass some love to her. Take your time and check her out. Her prices are reasonable and her skills are professional. While your are checking out the links, hit us up for a friend request. hehe. Here are a couple of my latest pieces. These are my Ghetto Mexican Dingle Ball Chanklas that can also serve as spa slippers. (when I am feeling upity) Here is an altered notebook I made with my lover's picture. I needed some inspiration!

Hey snatches y snatcholo's. I just wanted to give myself a shot out. I added another profile. No I am not looking for Mr. Dong on the DL, but rather I just wanted to "snatch" a name up and I am just holding it till I figure out what I want to do with it. My main thoughts are to make it a store front for other crafty chola's y cholo's to display their arte, and maybe even use it to promote other arte from other myspace artists. Kind of like a mini gallery pulga type setting. For now, I am being a whore and friend collecting, joining any group under the son involved with crafts, art, photography etc. If you have or belong to a cool group, please pass it along to me, and for the love of Gah, add me! Add me, love me, excite me, tease me, please me.also chec out my first blog. "ho, ho, ho" hehe. If you want to promote or show off your whares, please send them to me and I will post them and eventually, when I get enough subscribers, I may try and do a weekly feature on some of yooz. Who knows? Thanks for your support. La Blogazoli aka Yoli

Disclaimer: I am not talking about you, I'm just saying.........
Ok, talk about trying to make it in the big leagues. Myspace Top Blogger's have nothing on this list. It is so final and so dramatic. Once you make this list, there ain't no turning back. (Insert blue shocked face) But before I get into that "sacred list" I wanna talk some shit for a quick second. (insert smiley face) I have been hearing bits n pieces about people getting all pissy about how their blogs make and don't make the cut on top bloggers. I'ts kinda funny, but I guess I just don't understand, being that the majority of my blogs are either preferred or for friends only. I have heard of ways to manipulate the system, but I guess some people take that shit seriously. I mean, does myspace offer money or somthing to be on a top blogger's list? Has anyone actually been "discovered" and crossed over to the "big leagues" If so, please enlighted a homegirl, mmmkay? I just don't get it. I also heard that there may or may not be some kind of "Myspace Mafia" that even has the power to blacklist a blogger. WTF? For the record, I am just saying.... If you really exist, I ain't trying to talk shit, "Don Myspaciaso"! I know by looking at my list, one would think that I subscribe to way to many peeps. I used to have even more, however some of these fools kept on blogging 20 times a day and or would constantly predate their shit to keep their blogs as "new" and on top of my list. Grrrrrrrrr, They clogged up my subscriber list like a big ol serote (shit) stuck in my toilet. I mean, if you want to make sure everyone under the sun reads your shit, just send out bulletin like everyone else does. Also, I know I am not one to talk, but really, quality is better than quantity, ya know? I have seen some mega bloggers run like the caged wheel like a cranked out hamster, just trying to keep whitty and creative on a daily basis. It was crazy! I even got caught up on trying to leave a pinche comment, and then trying go to go back and see if I got a comment to my comment, and so on, and so on. What ever happened to just writing to amuse yourself and if someone joined the party or "Got your point", than yay for the both of you. I have subscribed to a blog or two where the person wrote some real shit. Funny, sad, sarcastic, etc. Then they got this huge fan base and started putting out some really wierd stuff. I can only guess the pressure got to them to constantly produce and keep as many of their readers happy. WTF? I mean, it's like someone going out and trying to impress a person for all the wrong reasons, hoping that they will keep being your friend. Ooooookay, Come on now, these were lessons that should have been learned out on the school yard. Your readers will notice and you may start to notice a dip in your readership (if your numbers really are important to you) I say this, because some of these guys would get an average of 300 comments! I am sure that is a huge ego booster. "You love me, you really really love me!" Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to hate on these bloggers, I still have a few subscriptions that get huge amounts of comments, and rightfully so. They have stayed true to themselves and "put out" maybe once every two weeks, and because of that I really look forward to their next blog. I even have some subcriptions that don't put out enough! For the love of GAh, get to writing already! I also have a small core of subscriptions of bloggers who are at a more intimate level. They have really put it all out there, and are keeping it real. I have gotten close to some of them, and really care about what they have to say, no matter how big or small their topic may be. If they are worried, hurt, frustrated, happy, lonely, horny, etc, I wanna know about it and want them to know that I am in their corner cheering them on. Yeah, and I also get invited almost daily by blog invites from total strangers. What's up with that? At least "Court me" Gaw Dammit, I ain't that high maintenance, a simple hello and intro is all I ask. What happened to some manners? Ain't no one to good for some old school chivalry, mmmkay? I, myself, have only sent out invites just a couple of times, but only to people already on my friends list and who I have already been a subscriber of their blogs with some kind of interaction. :-) Ugh this got so random, but I only blogged about this, because I ran across this site that had the mother of all Myspace lists. mydeathspace.comOMG, this site was so creepy and intriguing. Some of these deaths happened just days ago. It even lets you click on their site. I was hoping I didn't run across anyone I knew, because this is one list I would like to put off for as long as necessary. This list kinda makes Top Bloggers kinda trivial by comparison. Rest in Peace My Fellow Myspacers. **Tips her 40** Ok, I gotta go, porque I got some Blog whoring to do! I'm going to pimp the shit out of this one so yall's can know what I am talking about! (insert face with raising eyebrows)

Did yall see my last blog? Hopefully some of you are still my friends after that one. Anyway, it is that time again, On top of Being a momma, bringing home the bacon, Crafting, and Blogging, I do like to read. No, I don't read the Smarty Pants types of books, although I am working my way up. (I think) Anyhoo, I know some of you like to read as much as I do, so I thought I would share some of my recent reads. "My Horrizontal Life" by Chelsea Handler. (I so need to see if she has a myspace profile) (Both Chicks and Dicks will get a rise out of this book) Ok, I actually read this book a while back. Letti Loks recommended it in her blog and I quickly read it and have been sharing it with my friends ever since. I finally got it back, and let me tell you, This book was hella Bomb! This is a a straight Puta with attitude! She shares all her one night stands and is hella funny in the process! Run and go get this book! You won't regret it. Who doesn't love a smart sassy Puta? Other Peoples Dirt by Louise Rafkin (Ho-Hum) This book is written in blog form. Each chapter is about a different cleaning story. I thought it sounded good when I picked it up. Was looking foward to some vouyerism, but she was pretty tame and if you decide to read it, get it used or on clearance. The most memberable chapter is when she helped her homegirl who specialized in cleaning up murder or suicide scenes. (ILL) Life Laughs by Jenny McCarthy (Chick Book, but I think the guys would find some laughs and hopefully some damn sympathy) HILARIOUS! I breezed through this book with a quickness. If you are married, divorced, single, tired, have kids, etc, you will totally relate to this book. From the back cover: Faking it: Before I divulge all of my faking it stories, I would first like to bitch about why women were not built with the same horniness as men. It's so unfair, Since we do most of the work to maintain the human race, you would think God woud make it a fair game. I work all day, stop at the store, pick up groceries, feed the baby, clean the house, put the baby to bed, and my body is just supposed to be "randy" for my man? Thats funny. That's really funny.
Oh and the chapter about her man gagging from a "dingleberry stuck in her ass, priceless. Miss New York has Everything by Lori Jekeila (sounds like Tequila) (chick book) Premise: Don't let the smiling stewardess on the cover fool you: Jakiela's memoir has more in common with Chuck Klosterman than Coffee, Tea or Me? The early story focuses on the author's 1970s childhood in a working-class Pennsylvania town, especially on her father, a factory worker who considered other people "cockroaches," but doted on his pet miniature poodle. She dwells on her love of '70s pop idols like Shaun Cassidy and explains that her decision to abandon a career as a journalist and writing teacher to become a flight attendant was inspired by a childhood admiration for Marlo Thomas and That Girl. Unsurprisingly, Jakiela discovers life in the skies isn't really glamorous, and the job quickly takes an emotional toll. "My world started to shrink down to small spaces," Jakiela writes, an endless chain of jet cabins and hotel rooms. But there are also poignant moments in brief portraits of colleagues and passengers, and more than enough proof that Jakiela's decision to pursue a writing career was the right move. I really enjoyed this book, again, it was like reading a blog. Funny, Sad and quirky. Not to mention, she loved New York. Something that I can relate to from the pitt of bleeding heart. The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards (Fiction) Edwards's assured but schematic debut novel (after her collection, The Secrets of a Fire King) hinges on the birth of fraternal twins, a healthy boy and a girl with Down syndrome, resulting in the father's disavowal of his newborn daughter. A snowstorm immobilizes Lexington, Ky., in 1964, and when young Norah Henry goes into labor, her husband, orthopedic surgeon Dr. David Henry, must deliver their babies himself, aided only by a nurse. Seeing his daughter's handicap, he instructs the nurse, Caroline Gill, to take her to a home and later tells Norah, who was drugged during labor, that their son Paul's twin died at birth. Instead of institutionalizing Phoebe, Caroline absconds with her to Pittsburgh. David's deception becomes the defining moment of the main characters' lives, and Phoebe's absence corrodes her birth family's core over the course of the next 25 years. David's undetected lie warps his marriage; he grapples with guilt; Norah mourns her lost child; and Paul not only deals with his parents' icy relationship but with his own yearnings for his sister as well. Though the impact of Phoebe's loss makes sense, Edwards's redundant handling of the trope robs it of credibility. This neatly structured story is a little too moist with compassion. This book was fucken sad. A fascinating read, but heartbreaking nonetheless. For those of you who like a good sad story, this here is the ticket. Fat Girl by Judith Moore In her memoir of growing up fat, Moore, who previously wrote about food in Never Eat Your Heart Out, employs her edgy, refreshingly candid voice to tell the story of a little girl who weighed 112 pounds in second grade; whose father abandoned her to a raging, wicked mother straight out of the Brothers Grimm; whose lifelong dieting endeavors failed as miserably as her childhood attempts to find love at home. As relentless as this catalogue of beatings, humiliation and self-loathing can be, it's tolerableeven inspiring in placesbecause Moore pulls it off without a glimmer of self-pity. The book does have some high points, especially while Moore is stashed at the home of a kind uncle who harbors his own secrets, but the happiest moments are tinged with dread. Who can help wondering what will become of this tortured and miserable child? Alas, Moore cuts her story short after briefly touching on an unsatisfying reunion with her father and her two failed marriages. The ending feels hurried, but perhaps the publication of this book will give Moore's story the happy ending she deserves. Ok, this book hit a personal note with me. I have always had weight issues and have gone up and down all my life. Not to this author's extreme, but I could so relate to some of her feelings on this book. It's a small book, but very raw and unforgetable. Well, I think I have given you enough reads to ponder, I'll repost after another 5 or so books. Go Read a Book Dammit!

I knew this attention would grab your nosey asses on in here; either that, I shamelessly pimped out this blog. I have been sitting on this blog for a second and after reading one of my favorite blogger's blog. today, I decided, what the hey, let me leave my usual format and scratch an itch.
Disclosure: I also love me some peeps of the Caucasian persuasion, so please dont get your choniez all bent out of shape, this is just a little sarcasm, and you Old School readers, know I am an equal opportunist when it comes to clowning. Err, especially when it comes to my own family. Speaking of which, I have a Hummer of a blog coming up, complements of a certain family member. So I pimped out this book in a previous blog, because, well I thought it was funny and I was teasing Sharon that I was gonna learn about her cousins so I can identify more with her, thus taking our relationship to the next level! Ha-ha, yeah right, I was looking for more reasons to talk some mad loving shit to her. We always talk shit to each other when her Cousins or my Cousins do something stupid and make a Gaw Damn fool of themselves on TV, ultamitely in our minds, taking our peeps progress back a couple of decades. I swear to Gah, when shit hits the fan, we always say to each other, Was he black? Was he Latino? And if the pervert or idiot wasnt, we would sigh in relief. If he was one of our Cousins, we would hang our head in shame like it was our own family member who publicly shamed the family name. We also do it because, well, it gives us something else to talk shit about. Dont take offense either, cause our intentions really are good, its just who can pass up a good opportunity to talk some mad shit when no one is listening? Stupid knows no color, mmmkay? Back to the book, "How to Make friends with Black People" by Nick Adams Oh this book was chock full of stereotypes, one-liners, observations and yet it also has a gang of truth to it. Some of it I could relate too, just for the fact of being a lighter shade of brown, and we too, experience some of the same discriminations. But ok, some of it was way over the top, (to me) but I am sure he wrote it that way to grab your attention, and grabs, he does, mmmkay? And, ok, I am sure a lot of it was from his personal experience as well. It was actually a great read; funny and both sad at the same time. He cracked me up with his analogy about Brittany Spears. Yes, you read right, homeboy had room in his book to clown Ms. Spears and her Man. Dont let that frighten you, it was all in context and it will have you nodding your head when you are finished with that particular chapter. In fact, the man has skills with clowning a lot celebrities who take themselves way too seriously. He gets big Props just for some of the clowning opportunities he so flawlessly took advantage of. Triple Kudo's to him. He had one chapter that really hit home and I am not sure if it was a good thing. Lol. Pero, he talks about how his peeps will go somewhere, i.e., a bar, a different side of town, or anywhere that may be unfamiliar and immediately seek out other black peeps. If he spots another brotha he says he immediately sighs a deep breath and will relax the rest of the evening. He claims he does this just in case shit goes down and he needs someone to have his back. Pretty presumptuous of him, but hey, that is just my opinion and who am I to question his ethics. Now I aint saying because he wrote this down in his book, that this is the gospel to all brotherly love, but it just cracked me up because Sharon, and some of her homies, does the same thing. Anytime we go anywhere, she will immediately survey the crowd and looks for her peeps. One year our families went to Puerto Vallarta to an all inclusive resort, and damn it if she wasnt playing I spy for another black family. By day two she and the other Black family spotted each other and both families were high fiving each other like they just spotted a long lost friend. I thought it was hilarious. She would tell me, Yoli, dont act like you dont do it either when you dont see any Latinos around. It was that time that I had to school her on my peeps. I was like, Guat? Shieeeeeeeeeeeet, the last person I am looking for is another Latino! I go to a lot of places and or functions where I will be the only Latina around. Maybe it was because as a child I grew up in a predominately white neighborhood. The only Latinos around were pushing lawn mowers and I wasnt trying to bond with the Gardner. Funny how I married one, but thats another blog. Or maybe it is because we are some scary folk. Maybe it is because we know damn sure that if we saw another Latino; we KNOW they wouldnt have our back if shit went down. Ok, well maybe on a good night, but for the most part, I told her we act like we dont see each other. I told her, "Hell, sometimes if I see someone I knew from a long time ago, I will go out of my way to try and not run into them!" (I am working on that) But I know my family is the same way. A typical scenario would be. Dont look, but So-and-So is over there!
Or, Oh shit, there is whats her name, lets bounce! I know I am not the only one, because even George Lopez made reference to it in one of his stand up shows, and he got rounds of applauses. I would tell Sharon, See! Its just not me! She tells me, yeah, I bet if you saw me somewhere, you probably would run off in the other direction! Lol, but uh, she is probably right! Ok, I keed, I keed. But I have been working on not falling into the habit of avoiding a wave of someone I see out in the streets. IThe sad truth is; some of us folk are really bent on hating on each other. I am forever putting my kids in check if I hear them talking shit about other Latino kids who are from south of the border or even from southern California. For those of you who do not live in California, there is a HUGE problem of Latinos from North vs. South. It is hella stupid, and most will grow out of it if they are lucky, but a lot of lives get lost for nothing but stupid misguided pride. I have to remind my youngest son and lil sister, that uh, hello, we have hella family from the Los Angeles area, and not to mention, that his Daddy is a true Paisa, and his little ghetto wannabee ass wouldnt be here if it werent for me falling for his daddy, mmmkay? Thankfully they are starting to get it and are slowly realizing that we are all responsible for ourselves and cant live life pointing fingers at others while being in constant victim mode. Wow, I totally got off the subject, but I hope you get my point, cuz I barely do. Anyway, if anything, just for pure entertainment purposes, read the book. I am sure we all can learn a little about ourselves between the lines of his words. P.S. I get this a lot from well meaning people too. (He covers this great sentence in his book too) Yoli, my best friend is a Messican. Or even sometimes I will get, Yoli, our favorite maid was a messican! She sure had a way with a mop Gee Thanks!
P.P.S, While looking at some of the reviews, I couldn't help but laugh at this review: "I'm not black "per se" but some of my best friends are black people so I was totally "down" with what this man was talking about. It was very well written and exposed a lot of myths regarding people of color. But it did leave me confused on how to make friends with Oprah which is sort of why I bought the book".

So there is all this drama dipping in and out of the Media about "Myspace". A place for predators, a place for kids to buy drugs, and so on, and so on. I ain't gonna lie, I jumped on Myspace because I heard about it through my kids. I had no idea what it was, other than my kids were on it all the time and I started getting some phone calls from unknown area codes from lil vato's. Yup, it was time for me to school myself on the unknown. I set up an account using a generic pic of a rose and began to poke around on my "chillin's pages. I learned to check out their friends pages too and I even learned the "favorite" feature that allowed me to check on some pages again and again and not have to worry about them changing their names. Of course this was before the privacy feature was added. While I was becoming a super slueth, I also was becoming creative with decorating my page and some small htm coding. Then I met a couple of bloggers, and it was on like "Donkey Kong" Some people use it to promote their business, pick up chicks, provoke, entertain and make friends. I often wonder what "Myspace" means to me and thought I would try and explain myspace to both you and to me. For me, "Myspace" is always changing. For the most part, few things remain the same, but I look at Myspace as multi-faceted because my interests seem to be changing and expanding at lightning speeds. In my quest to getting to know the "ins" and "outs" of this "Space", I stumbled across some great friends. Really great friends. I can't even put into words how much these women mean to me and how close we have allowed ourselves to be. I always wonder about the odds of finding such kindered spirits and feel so blessed that they are part of me. I have always been rather private about my thoughts and feelings and especially my past, however with these chica's, my thoughts and confessions flow like a river. I know there are a lot of you have also been lucky with hooking up with some great friends through this space. I'd also like to hear about it. Myspace has also brought out the writer in me. No, I am not of "professional" writer caliber, but I do like to write and I do like to tell and share my stories and I am quite amused that I have had some long term readers that have an equal passion to reading and writing blogs. I also have been inspired to getting back to the "artist" in me. I can thank "Myspace" again, because it was do to me stalking a few profiles that lead me to start up on crafting and drawing. Another one of my passion's that was brought back to life is "Reading" I used to love to read back in the day. However the last 18 years, life got in the way, and I put reading on the back burner. I used to read books consistantly and had reduced that pleasure to maybe one book a year. These past few months I have been reading an average of 1 book a week. By the way, I am almost done with a book and I'll be posting a review of the last 6 books I read. Gosh, one would think Myspace is a great educational tool! haha, yeah right. I wish I could get paid for all the effort I put in here. I am always taking notes and telling myself. Hmm, I got posts to make, comments to leave, opinions and advice to share, and sometimes just a sympathetic ear to offer. I almost need a pinche appointment book! lol Another part of "myspace" is I get to goof off and outgross some of my buddies. I search high and low for some of those damn comments. lol. I try so hard to please. I have also met some pretty amazing peeps up in here. I've met Porn stars, Authors, Musicians, Comedians, Psychics, Teachers, Lawyers, Travelors, Artists, Body Builders, Cholas, New Mommies, and so many more. How cool is that? Because I sure can't say I meet such a diverse crowd here at home on a daily basis like I do here on Myspace. I've also made some great contacts and have learned so much about other parts of the country. I definately made some great contacts on the east coast and can't wait to my next trip to NYC! Ok, you got your taste of my lil corner here on Myspace, now I wanna hear about yourspace!

If any of you have taken 2 seconds to get to know me, yall would know I have this wee bitty crush on this fool. Ange notified me on Friday night that he was performing at Lake Tahoe on Saturday night. (2 hr. drive) I told Mando about it and he said he was cool with taking me, because he ain't no chump and knew that he would benefit greatly after a couple of hours of me jumping and grinding to this fool. We were already committed to attending my nieces babtism, but I figured if we cut out of Sac. by 6:30, we would get there in plenty of time to check in a room and go to the concert. Saturday happened to be hotter than hell and since the Babtism party was an outdoor event, by the time 6:00 clock rolled around, all my L.L Cool J. passion was sweated out of every pore and well, I was burnt the fuck out. We got home and I passed out till like 8:30. Mando took me to a consolation dinner. Today, one of my myspace buddies reminded me on what I missed out on. Enjoy ladies, this one is for you! So, like I mentioned in a previous blog, I am trying to broaden my horizons and have been breaking out the "closet" artist in me via "whoring" up some crummy t-shirts and drawing up a storm. I have been buying cheap t-shirts and going scissor happy on them, creating two new shirts. Here they are.... This started out as a men's shirt I that bought on clearance for 4 bucks at Anchor Blue. I liked the color and thought I could bring out the girly in it. I cut the neck and sleeves. I also gave it a plunging back "v-neck and cut the back down the center, then weaved ribbon down the back to give it a corsett (sp) look to it. I did the same with one of the sleeves. This is the back. Then I got out my puta glitter and sprayed the backround. You really can't see it, the flash made it look like it is spotted. I also added some rhinestones. (notice the rhinestone mole I gave her under her eye) Lastly, I used glitter paint to add highlights to her hair. This next one was a plain black shirt with a silver crown. I cut the neck and gave it a halter look, keeping the sleeves. I added a broach to embelish it. I also cut the back, but I jacked it and cut it to low. To save it, I added a black bandana to cover the back. (It is pinned right now, but I am "iron" sewing it on with a fusing tape) Front The back I actually like how the back came out. A clever "save", I thought. Ok, I have also been practicing my drawing skills. I am still using felt pens, cuz I am not brave enough to paint. These are small pics. I am using them for templates and inspiration for other stuff. I scan everything so I can resuse them in collages and other stuff. I am going to be working on a few Shadow boxes and Shrines and have been collecting odd ball stuft to embelish. Trust me, I am no Picasso, my stlye is more of a "6th grader" I am really cool with that, I like how my stuff looks like a young kid did it. After all, I am just a lil loca at heart. Here we go..... This first one is from a photograph I have of an Aztec Dancer. This was my attempt of copying a photo fo Frieda. I got to "lip happy" on her though. lol, oh well. I got this from a mural that had a huge scene on it. I like the heart and am trying out different kinds of "sacred heart" pics. (I had sprayed some gloss stuff on it, and it clashed with the flash from my camera) I am reading a book (I will post reviews later) and this is one of the illustrations that was in the book. I liked her expression and her ass too. haha. I like drawing flowers and I didn't know what to do with them, so I made it like one of those paper cut out thingys you see at Mexican Fiestas. I love me some Pinata's. I am gonna practice with making more. Another flower I am also digging pics of "Marys" I love arte de "Dia De Los Muertos" and this was my first stab at a skeleton. These are my favorite flowers. They remind me of my gremma (like the glitter? ) Woman in a black shawl. Ok, it is closing time. I hope you liked the show and I hope my skills get better with time.

Yeah I know I complain about my viejo and all, but today I gotta give him some props. You see, my man comes from a fine line of Paisas. Because of this fact, he comes damn handy as my personal gardner. We have a large lot and he has painstakingly landscaped the front and backyards. Thank Gah, cuz I am not an outdoorsy kind of girl. Don't get me twisted, I love looking at beautiful landscapes; I even like designing them, but when it comes to labor, forgetaboutit. I will point and direct, but I don't like caca in my nails. I prefer to sit my happy ass inside, looking out our windows. Mando, on the other hand, thrives on being outside. He is outside every chance he gets. Planting a flower here, picking a weed there, and especially tending to his prized tomatoes. Hell, while I was globe trotting across Italy, he was feverishly planting and completing the front yard so that I could be surprised when I got back. I made damn sure I ooooooooooooohed and awwwwwwwed for all his efforts. The drawback to his passion, is he can be cranky as the old man who would yell at you for running across his lawn when you were a kid. Remember him? Yeah, I am married to him. My kids can't even play with a pinche ball in the backyard because he swears they are gonna break one of his precious little flowers. I had to put his ass in check a couple of weeks ago and tell him to calm the fuck down, that after all, that is what a pinche yard is all about. Anyhoo, this morning, before we took off for the day, he was watering his thirsty plants porque we were expecting temperatures into the 100's today. He was using his industrial sized water hose that is about 500 feet long and weighs a good 50 lbs. As he was stretching it across the yard and around our pool, it grazed a large potted plant that sits at the edge of our pool. Although this is a large pot and weighs a ton, it couldn't compete with the hose and proceeded to make a mad dive into our sparkling pool aka Mando's #1 Joy in life. (I fought long and hard against this pool and told him I want nothing to do with the maintenance of it ) I think time stopped because the next thing I knew, Mando jumped in the pool, clothes, shoes and all to save his plant and the pool. How hardcore is that? haha. I just stood in awe, cuz if I had fallen in the pool, I think he would have just stood back and clowned me. . I begged his ass to wait, because this photo op was priceless! lol, he hastily agreed, and kindly waited for me to run into the house and grab my camera. I know he had to think about it, cuz he knew once I snapped the pic, he would become blog material! I told him to relax, I'm gonna make him a star! I love that man. Enjoy!

Psssssssssssssssssssssst, I believe Gawd sent me a message, and being that it borderlined divine intervention, I felt it was my duty to help spread the word because I have been very close to falling victim to this "Cult" These chica's know how to seduce and they do it with out concience. This powerful message was brought to me in the pure art form of a blog. I couldn't believe what I was reading! I mean, this chick has balls for putting out there. I hope she realizes she may have to go on the "DL", in fact, I myself am taking a big risk at assisting in blowing their cover, ya know? Nevertheless, I feel that I owe this important message to the rest of my homies. After all we got to watch each other's back, que no? Proceed with caution and take notes. It could save your life. **OMG** It's a pinche conspiracy, I think they are already on to us. "They" are not letting me link up. I bet they have Tom by the huevo's. Grrrrrrrrrr. I am going to have to do it old school style and cut and paste. Oh, it's working now, click here. Thanks Chica! (By the way, this homegirl has some major writing skills)
