I've been loyal to the last drop ... after I knew transmission is breaking down...then the rattling symphonic noise started... finally I decided to take it to the clinic (a mechanic near work lol) and it was diagnosed with a heart breakdwon (Engine is 1/3 gone) ...

when I asked the mechanic how long before the vehicle is dead .. he told me.. " you'll be the first to know...it may be a day...it may be a year...!"

Naturally... it was a day...lol nicely enough she broke near a Tim Horton coffee shop..so I got my coffee...sat in the car with heat turned on as well as mix of Marcel Khalifa music and Breaking Binjamin songs :) ...called the office for a ride...and arrangement for a rental car quotes..finally called a towing company to bring the dead body home..!!

I do not really care about cars like other guys... to me it is strictly a mean of transportation, and since I spend quite a bit of time in my car going around between the office and my sites, it is a must to have a good radio / cd player.

Two things I liked about my car, First it had a very good sound system with a great graphic equalizer. I will miss that although I'll make sure the new one has an mp3 player or an aux in socket to hook one up..!.

Second thing...it had a button on it's automatic transmission stick on the front... that I use to click to play rhythms with the music... and normally challenged by my kids that they can make same rhythms I can make with it and of course...not even close.... Do I sound childish..? It was fun and I'll miss that in a new car...loool

I have a mission to find a new car (very economic one) within 3-5 days max.

My car breakage and the hunt for a new one became public news...lol you'd be amazed about the reaction and the help you'd get...

My assistant whom I asked to get quotes to rent a car for a week...not only been busy getting me a quote...she also got me best offers and contacts to lease a new car (yes I'm leasing not buying...it's a better deal that way...) another co-worker offered me to use her towing service .... and another to give me a ride home with his car...the company VP offered me a pick up truck for the week till I get a new car... and so on...!

Finally my son ..who of course will share me driving this car since he just got his liscence ... calls me to point out an ad here and there about a good deal...:)). that's a nice touch by the way...lol

Anyway.. I'll make sure I have a good sound system in the new one... and A/C of course... gotta crank that heat up in this wild winter...!! Other than that... it's all good...:)

Color..? well may be Black... dark blue or white...

Have no prefererence in a car.. a Jap car like Toyota might be good although the regular GM or Ford would be alright... The only car that move my heart is a Hummer which naturally I can not afford at this point..lol. The rest are all the same to me..

So.. that means... Less time on the net...less time on my space... my blog...my music...my books till the hunt is finally over... cya soon..!!
