Some People are FOS (Full of Shit)

Of course everyone already knows this, but it is becoming an epidemic! If you are not guilty then this blog should not offend you, but if you are then you are the subject of this matter.

I'm finding out that people are more FOS in the business world. I'm running up on so many people that are just talkers and are just to damned afraid to walk! I'm primarily in the referral business. Most of my clients have come on referral or somehow they saw my work and were interested in doing some biz. I guess as my business has increased, so has the BS! Its stacked so high now that it is towering over the good biz. What's killing me is the time that it actually takes to sith through this shit. I honestly do not have the time; and what's worse, I'm showing neglect to my other projects that need my attention.

I ask myself, "Self, why are people FOS? Why must people act like they can do something when they really can't?"

Possible answers are:

1. We live in an honorless society where noone's word means crap! The American theme seems to be "Get it anyway I can, no matter who I shit on in the process!"

2. People are Cowards! Sometimes people get scared when it comes down to it. The fear of the unknown. "What if I fail? What if it doesn't work?" People don't realize that most businesses don't get it right the 1st time or the 2nd or 3rd for that matter. Stop being a pussy and grow a pair! If you don't know failure how can you ever achieve success?!

3. People want to look like they're doing something rather than actually doing it. These are the same people in high school that lied about being with some girl or dude to increase their social status amongst their peers. How pathetic. Beware of the Big Talker. Usually the most FOS.

4. Flakiness. Some people just don't know how to commit. Emotional disasters of people who can't make up their own minds. They need to see someone else doing it before they jump off the roof.

5. Not serious. Some people see others gettin money and they want the money, but don't want to put forth the effort to get it. It ain't easy homey! Once they find out what it takes to strike out on their own then they clam up and hit the Want Ads.

I don't want you thinking that its just the business unprofessionals that have me peeved, because I've been meaning to call out some of you women too.

Please ladies... don't shell out your numbers to guys who you don't want calling you anyway. Does it really boost your ego that much to be able to ignore a call from some fellow you just gave it to 2 nights ago. Then you have to let everyone in the room/car know how much this guy is bugging you when its probably his 2nd time calling. I respect a lady when she can tell a guy straight up, "It was nice talking to you, but I'm not interested." How hard is that? No need to lie about some non-existent boyfriend or say that you don't give out your phone number. You might as well say, "My mommy said that not to let anyone play with my toys." (remember that)

Stop leadin these guys on too! I have quite a few good friends that are girls. Some say too many for a straight guy. Ladies, you know when a guy is interested. Don't take advantage of his offerings of free meals and whatever else he's offering. Have some self respect for God's sake! So what if he's a trick. Does that mean you're a prostitute? Stop actin like hoes and maybe we'll stop callin you them. FYI NEIM doesn't trick, ask around.

I don't expect this blog to change anyones outlook on how FOS they are or whatever. If you think I'm FOS, then I welcome you to call me out on it in the comments. I just needed to vent a lil bit because I'm tired of smellin the shit!

Now, hopefully I can get back to my writing. I am going to start telling people how FOS they are and maybe I will stop getting double doses of it. I know my good friend Lisa Lee is wondering when the hell are we gonna get something done. I'm on it, all BS aside ;-)

Current mood:  accomplished
Category: Writing and Poetry

Wow, its been since Oscar night since I have written anything in this blog. I'm surprised that I still have readers. Anywho, I will start back with my reviews as soon as I have some more spare time. I've been busy with various projects. Either finishing them, starting them, or keeping them going. I just recently finished a website for one of my clients  allakcess.com  Go check it out and leave me some feedback attention Webmaster on the home page.

Well, I also felt like writing so i will leave you with a little something. I rarely write poetry so please forgive me if I seem like a novice. ;-)

Missed

Faces, dates, even places fade from thought

I look in all of the usual places but they… I cannot find

They're drifting along the outskirts of my memory neigh wanting to be sought

Nothing left inside my heart but the wonderings of my mind.

Those memories go on missing, escaped from me they have.

Wait! One just crossed the desolate desert of my consciousness.

I remember the look in her eye, the tenderness of her kiss

The time we lit those candles all around the bubble bath

It's coming, she's coming, we're coming all at once we're in sync

an orgasmic recollection of feelings has brought me to brink

Too much at one time leaves me weak, unable to speak or think

as I blink I am brought back to the reality and my shoulders sink.

Alone am I. Reality hits you hard and fast!

How many more lonely morns? Must I be unaided for every sunset?

Oh, what's that…where is she you ask?

I'm sorry for that, but we never met.

Of course I have Oscar Picks!

What kind of movie guy would I be if I didn't.

Here they are:
BLUE: indicates who I THINK will win
RED: indicates my Sentimental favorite & in some cases who I think SHOULD win
PURPLE: indicates who I am 99% sure will win.

My Pick for the film that will be the biggest winner is "The Departed"
My biggest sleeper who will surprise a few folks is "Pan's Labyrinth"
The biggest disappointment will be "Dreamgirls"

Leave comments on some/all of your picks!

Ghost Rider Preview

Ghost Rider

Sorry it took me so long, but I've been busy, but it was probably for the best now that it's sunk in.

Ghost Rider was entertaining. I have to admit. He looked Billy Bad Ass. Nicholas Cage is way too old to be playing him though.

The script lacked and the enemies were too easily vanquished. But... it looked awesome.

I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

The hell with it... Johnny Blaze took me on a ride!

The Last King of Scotland - Trailer

Last King of Scotland

A standing Ovation is in order for Forest Whitaker. What a performance. Similar to how Jamie Foxx transformed into Ray Charles. The movie was good, but not as good as Forest.

The movie is about the time period that Ugandan dictator Idi Amin took power and was responsible for over 300,000 deaths. The story was cool, there was just no ending for me. Yeah there was an ending for the Scottish doctor, but I wanted more Amin. He was a very colorful character. Don't take my word for it, listen to him>>>

Ok... I'm a little late with this one, but you know what they say, "Better late than never." I'm saying that because If I'm glad that I got the chance to finally watch this highly inspirational piece of work.

I got to take my little sister (12) and brother (12) to see it last night. That was a great decision.

Hilary Swank always does a great job in no matter what role she plays in, but no individual performance stood out more than the message and heart-felt true story. I think I'm getting soft in my old age as I found myself teary eye'd several times in the movie (probably because I had the lil ones with me).

It reminds of movies like "
Lean on Me" and "Stand and Deliver" as it drives home powerful uplifting messages to teenagers that may feel troubled. I think definetly every young person able to handle the subject matter should go and see it.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars

Would have been 5, but you know its not that original. It's true though and the idea of writing in a journal was neat.
