With Thanksgiving just around the bend, I was hoping to harvest some ideas. Sometimes our brainstorming has great results.

I think anything having to do with yams, corn and booze is always funny. Well the word corn alone is just funny. Corn hole, corn fritter.

"The day after the first Thanksgiving would be the first time the pilgrims saw corn in their stool."

You see that's comedy gold.

Squash is funny, gourds are kind of funny. Children talking about the horrendous acts our founding fathers committed against the Native American people and then talking about pie.....funny.

Drunk whores are always funny.

Larry the pilgrim discovered Peggy, American's first drunk whore.

But those are my limited ideas. I need fresh ideas.

Let's brainstorm. Let's share ideas. What's funny to you? What would you like to see?

October 25, 2009 - Sunday

It's Sunday and I'm having coffee. I would like to have said: It's Sunday morning and I'm having coffee, but I somehow slept till 1:30. I love when you wake up and you feel rested. All your muscles are kind of springy feeling, like they are renewed and ready.

When I first woke up, I knew it was Sunday. It had that Sunday feeling. For a very split second I thought, I'm going to call mom. Oops. Then I remembered. For just a tiny, little time, the simple sweetness of life was here. But it didn't overwhelm me with sadness because I felt the simplicity of love I have always felt for my mom. It was a small Sunday gift.

This time of year I usually make fun things for Halloween to share. Like a Naysheen layout or some other Halloween layout stuff. I know you understand why I haven't felt like doing that. Maybe in time I'll feel like doing something for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I miss the fun. We'll see.

Thanks for all the Halloween comments. Lynne's are always about a slutty witch. Connie's are always super vulgar and then she puts an autumnal scene at the end that says, have a nice day, to make up for her excessive vulgarity. :)

Remember Betty Kong? I'm sure she's frantically getter her treats together for Halloween. I wonder what she'll be handing out? Freeze dried octopus tentacles? Bean paste? Seven treasure soup? Chicken feet?

Naysheen is down at Home Depot picking out a new shovel to pummel anyone who dare step on to her lawn this Halloween.

After Halloween Rude Kitty will crawl into any unguarded treat bag and take a dump.

Well, happy Sunday.

Hi, thank you, a little update.

I just wanted to give a little update. I wanted to say thank you sincerely to everyone who left a comment on my last post. It made me feel not so alone to see that so many people have gone, or are going through the same thing. It feels so personal, but I guess it's just apart of being human huh? This awful stuff we all have to go through.

I left it up ( I had threatened to delete it. ) because I thought maybe someone else might need to read those comments for comfort as well.

I don't want to do a blog about poor me, and blah, blah, blah. Some people expressed concern for my welfare and I just wanted you to know that I'm Okay. Some days are really hard. It forces you to do a lot of soul searching, it is testing my spiritually. I'm mad. I feel lots of guilt about everything I "should" have done better. And I just really miss my mom.

Thank you again. There are so many really good people out there.

Take care of yourselves.

Your Internet friend, Mike
