Hello everyone. I have chosen to update you all once more on the status of my new CD, Anyplace or Anything. I realize some of you were told that it would be available soon about 6 months ago, so I figured I should send another note hoping that someday you can somehow forgive me. sniff.

I encountered some problems whilst finishing the record, most of them boring and complicated and having little entertainment value, so I shall not include them in this blog entry. At that time, I was planning on releasing the record as a 6 or 7 song EP. When I realized that it would be awhile before the record was complete, I decided to utilize the time spent waiting, and instead use the time spent waiting as time spent working, and I am proud to inform you that the new CD is no longer an EP, but a LP, which means it no longer has just 6 or 7 songs, but 11.

Right...... 11 songs. A full record. I've never done that. It's pretty exciting.

I'm hoping (as if that still means anything to you all) that I can have this project done and released by late October. Cross your fingers, say a prayer, send money, and it just might happen.

As always, it's always a pleasure to hear from you. I'm trying my best to get back to everyone who writes. Feel free to comment or message me with any questions or threats that you may have after reading this blog entry.

cheers,
nathan

Hello everybody.

I just wanted to drop you all a quick note since I've been really busy lately and haven't been able to reply to all of your messages and comments. We had a couple of minor setbacks with the new CD, and as a result I've had to spend a lot of extra time in the studio.

I really appreciate all of your support, and the fact that you write to ask about the new record or just to say hi. It means a lot, so I just wanted to apologize for being so slow to respond.

And for the record, I'm still really excited about the new CD. I can't wait for you guys to hear it.

Please don't stop writing! :-)

Yes, that's right. You get to help us pick a title!

It's about that time...... 4 of the 6 new songs are tracked, the others should be finished this week. Then mixing and mastering and artwork and pressing and all of that jazz.

But it's not jazz, because we don't play jazz.

Regardless of genre, it's about that time when we try to title our new CD. This time around, we're involving all of you wonderful readers.

You get to make suggestions and have input on the title.

If we pick yours, you get the CD free as well as a signed picture of everybody.

You can also have a lock of Brett, the drummer's, hair.

I didn't ask him about that, but I'm sure he'll go for it.

So leave your suggestions in a comment or a message or however you like. Anything is welcome. Just no profanity. You can however use the shift key and the numbers, like so: @$@^%^!

Because that's always funny.

cheers,

nathan

Hello. I'm so nervous, I haven't blogged in years. And I've never blogged at the new myspace profile, which is this one. I'm afraid that I will lose your respect and interest before I even shake the cobwebs off of my keyboard......

I do have happy news...... The Nathan Hill Project just finished a weekend of rehearsal's and driving and recording and calling each other mean names and other things. I'll have some pictures for your viewing pleasure pretty soon. I may also post a recording of a rehearsal, but I haven't decided. It takes a real man to show the world something that isn't yet perfected, and we all know I am not a real man. So no promises.

In other news, we've added our fourth member, Robbie. It's nice having him around, basically because he makes the band sound better.

Getting ready for a show in Columbus, Ohio that is going to take place September 7th. I'd love to see you there.

New CD will be done THIS WEEK! Get ready to check that thing out, it sounds good. Yeah, it actually sounds really good. Guess a multi-platinum producer will do that to you.

Soon I will post a recording in the members section of www.nathanhillproject.com. This recording will be our bassist, Jeffrey, singing the national anthem, sounding like some kind of siren or insect or something. It's four different shades of hilarious.

If you want to subscribe to this blog, that will make me write in it more often. I have to be coaxed these days. So go ahead and subscribe, and then become a member at www.nathanhillproject.com so you can read the other band members blogs there. There's not any yet, but I'm gonna try to talk them into it.

Oh and lastly, drop me a line. ------> nathan@nathanhillproject.com.  Don't make me be lonely tonight.

I'll post a random picture down below. Have fun with that.

Cheers,
nathan
