Recently reformed, Dan, Mat, Alex, Rat and Jonn - all 5 original members of Neds have decided, following December 2008’s rammed-out Astoria Re:United show, it’s time to celebrate the record that made it all happen. With a May 23rd Re:United hometown show fast approaching sell-out, it seems that the fans are still hungry for God Fodder – looks like Neds still have a healthy appetite too. Neds will play God Fodder from start to finish in London, the city where it was recorded, on Saturday 19th December 2009 at 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Needless to say, Neds will be playing the rest of your faves too. This will be Ned’s only other club show of 2009. Oh, and rumour has it that a classic design might reappear at the merch stand.... From 9.00am on Monday 9th March, Ned’s fans will be able to buy a limited V.I.P. Party Ticket on pre-sale (check myspace & facebook for details & link). The V.I.P. Party Ticket gets you a limited signed poster plus a laminate pass for the after show party at the venue where the band will be Djing afterwards. Tickets go on general sale at 9.00am on Friday 13th March. 0871 231 0821 / artistticket.com / 0844 477 2000 / ticketweb.co.uk / www.nedsatomicdustbin.com

Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Re:United - Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall: Saturday 23rd May
When the Astoria came knocking last summer, it didn’t take much deliberation before the boys decided to play one last hurrah together at their favourite London venue before the bulldozers move in. So the historic day finally came when Dan, Alex, Mat, Rat and Jonn were stood in a rehearsal room together for the first time in 13 years... “For a night, and maybe for many more in the future, The Neds were once again a vibrant prospect, as powerful and thrilling as ever. I couldn't give a toss if anyone thought it was cool. All we cared about.. that night was that it was a slice of something joyful in an often crap world. The best Neds show I have seen, by some immense margin. For one night, the whole world went away, and all we had was the music... And music is sometimes all you need.” Astoria Review – www. thefinalword. co. uk
Following a rammed-out show at the Astoria in December 2008, the reunited Neds feel it’s time to come back to their spiritual gigging home – Wolverhampton!

The Astoria, London Saturday 6th December, 2008Dan Dan the fast drumming man, Mat plays one bass, Alex the other Rat does the guitar and Jonn sings… So it began in 1987 and so it finished in 1995. In between times Ned's were very busy growing up together (and eventually, growing apart), building a unique twin-bass-no-nonsense-Black Country-adrenaline-fuelled-indie-rock-beast of a legacy. Myth has it that Ned helped inspire the likes of Muse, Blink 182, Hundred Reasons, Coldplay, Kill Hannah, The Young Knives, Mark Ronson and Jamie Cullum to forge their own undoubtedly more lucrative legacies. From 2000 to 2007 a reformation took place with Alex, Dan and Jonn recruiting the more than capable talents of Now Assassin members Andy King (bass) and Martin Warlow (guitar) to fill the cavity that Rat and Mat's absence created. In 2007, Sony/BMG invited the band to write the track list for a new compilation of their Sony recordings (Some Furtive Years) and, suddenly, everyone was talking to each other again. Well, writing at least. And if they were talking, why weren't they playing? When the Astoria came knocking, it didn't take much deliberation before the date was set and Dan, Alex, Mat, Rat and Jonn were stood in a rehearsal room together for the first time in 13 years. The setlist? The hits of course! The occasion? 21 years of Ned's Atomic Dustbin. A reunion brought about by email ….
