I'm looking to network with anybody familiar with their local cable access TV shows. I've made some films - even a few pilot TV episodes.- and I know some people with shows who will air independent films. At the bottom of this page, you'll find links to the show hosts: http://www.webspawner.com/users/doubleornutin/index.html

The Band, SAGE4 ( www.sage4.com) hired me to be in their new video. I dressed up like Howard Stern. The Song is "Everyone's A Hypppocrite".

7/8/06(this a letter I'm circulating to newspapers).
CNN reported on a Christian oriented home video game ("Heaven
[something]") where your figure bows in prayer before killing agents of
the Devil.
If this game had been made by an Islamic, instead of a Christian, there would have been a major outcry.
Why is it OK for Christians to make something like this and not others?
Also, as far as the report of neo-Nazi-izm and white supremacy in
the military - as if the Islamic extremists don't have enough reasons
to hate us.
The armed forces should crack down on this.
After all, this country fought a world war to keep these ideas out of this country!

The last few days have been a series of events that would have
outdone anything the writers of Seinfeld could have ever come up with!
Wednesday, I decided to go to an open mic in Stroudsburg, PA.
I haven't been there in 2 years.
The hosts are friends of mine.
I decided it would be a good place to meet a girl that I met on an online dating service.
It turns out she and I had met there 4 years ago.
I played, she entered while I was onstage, and we had a nice chat.
She later left, and I left soon after that.
I was looking for a nearby club - one where my two friends host another weekly open mic - down the road.
I became frustrated trying to find it - so I tried to turn around in a parking lot.
I hit a cement parking barrier and fluid started draining out of my transmission.
I pulled into a gas station, tried to put in more fluid + it all immediately drained out.
I called AAA + had the car towed to a nearby transmission repair shop.
I noticed a note in the tranmission shop's window.
The shop had been closed during the day, the owner's home had been
flooded (eastern PA. has been deluged with floods from all the recent
rains).
I had the driver drop me off near my friend's jam.
They would've offered to let me stay with them but they now live about an hour away from Stroudsburg.
They were kind enough to drop me off at a nearby hotel.
The next morning, I called the repair shop.
No answer.
I called the girl I met at the club + told her of my dilemma.
She agreed to meet me at the bar again + we spent the next few hours trying to find a nearby car rental place.
Most of them had no cars for rent, you see: it's the weekend before July 4th!
I called an 800 # for one company + they one car available 19 miles away.
She drove me there.
On the way there, she asked if we could stop at the vet.
She had a pet ferret.
She went in to pick up the ern with it's ashes.
We arrived at the car rental place - the car had out of state
plates, a broken side view mirror, a cracked windshield and no air
conditioning!
At least, I ended up getting 20% off the regular rental price.
I drove home to get my spare set of car keys + tried calling another transmission place to have my car towed to their place.
It turns out, you can't have your car towed out of a repair shop without the owners OK (the owner has to be there).
Back home, I called my two friends to let them know I was OK.
I told them my story.
They knew of a musician in the Stroudsburg area who also does some auto repair (as a matter of fact, I have his CD!).
He has a friend with his own tow truck.
My car is front wheel drive, so all he had to do was lift it up by the front wheels and take it to the musician's home.
He did + I met him at the musician's home.
I dropped off the keys + went home (wait, there's more,...)
The next day, Friday, he left a message while I was at work.
I knocked a hole in my transmission's oil pan - he fixed it, no problem - the car now runs fine.
I decided to drive up there, after work, and leave the rental car at the Stroudsburg branch of the car rental place.
As I was finishing up at work, I started getting sick - coughing the way I did last year, when I caught the flu.
I managed to pull myself together and drive up to the car rental place in Stroudsburg.
He met me there (in his beautiful blue 1966 Plymouth!).
I took my stuff out of the rental car, put the key in the store's
drop slot + realized I left my house keys in the locked rental car!
Oh well, I got in his car, he drove me back to his place, I put my stuff in my car and headed home.
Driving the highway back home, I wondered if the nice girl across
the hall from my apartment would let me sleep on her couch, or maybe
the girl upstairs,..
Oh skip it! There was no guarantee that any of them would even be
home, (+ they both smoke!) so I turned around + headed back to
Stroudsburg.
I stopped at the hotel where I stayed on Wednesday night.
$89.00 for a room! I paid $55.00 on Wednesday.
"It's busy this weekend" said the guy at the counter.
I decided to try another hotel - all the hotels in the area were
all booked up - you see, many of the area residents had evacuated their
homes because of all the flooding.
I went back to the first hotel + spent the night there.
The next morning, I went to the place where I left the car.
I told them I had left my house keys in the car.
The guy said the car's open.
I looked in the car and there were no keys!
I started to go back to the office and he was outside holding my keys.
He had gone throught the car that morning when he moved it and had originally thrown my keys out!
"You sure are lucky" he said.
I finally drove back home + went to work again today (Saturday).
And my original car keys are still at the other repair shop in Stroudsburg!
I ought to be writting for television!

I wonder what Saddam Husein's reaction to Al Zaqari's death is?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I don't understand why our President hasn't acted
militarily in light of the North Korean's recent test
of a medium range missle and nuclear program.
Most people would say that President Bush is more
concerned with the situation in Iraq because of oil.
While this may be true to some extent, it is my
contention that another part of the reason might be
that the President may lack the experience or
knowledge in dealing with a situation such as the
North Koreans.
This may be an intimidation to congress.
What I can say for certain, is that if the Iraqis had
test fired a medium range missle, we would have
invaded Iraq much earlier.
I believe the North Koreans are more advanced now in
their nuclear program than Iraq was in the 1980's when
the Iraqi nuclear facilities were bombed by the
Israelis.
Considering all that has been spent on Iraq, rather
than our nation's education, infrastructure and more,
some would call this cause for dismissal of our
president, much in the same way that the former
govenor of California was voted out of office.
What I'm more concerned with now is wheather or not
the North Korean government is considering their own
pre-emptive strike.
===============================================
If September 11th never happened, I would have said
that if Gore had been elected with a Jewish VP,
somebody would have pulled some stunt.
Sept. 11th was 20 years in the making. It would have
happened no matter who was President.
A documentary one morning on the History Channel
showed how 9-11 was 20 years in the making.
President Carter waited out the Iranian hostage
situation.
A rescue attempt failed with two rescue hellicopters
colliding as they attempted to abort their mission.
A short time later, another hostage situation arose in
England.
The British handling of that situation recovered their
hostages, captured and or killed the captors and made
us look like a bunch of monkees.
Then there was the soldiers being killed by a truck
bomb ramming their barracks in Lebanon in the early
1980’s (1982?). Why wasn’t any action taken back
then?
Fast forward to the first World Trade Center bombing
in 1993. Why didn’t we go in after anyone?
All we did was regale when some FBI agents found some
terrorists in the process of making their ‘witches
brew’.
Then there was the 1998 bombing of the USS Cole and
still no forcefull reprisal or action.
A recent quote from the President: “We’ve been
playing ‘footsies’ with these guys for too long’”.
Interesting observation, but what do we do now?
Twenty years of sitting back and doing nothing until
something severe happened, only made us look weak. --------------------------------------------------------------- Interesting article: http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/008809.php

A well respected artist fellow sent me this note from Rome: ---------------------------------------------- Hi Brodian.. I live in Rome.. I saw your project on Picasso's movie . My compliments. I am trying to find out how Renoir made the transparent canvas, so that you could see only the line and nothing else.. I'd like to recreate it. Any info? thanks Andrea Caruso info@andreacaruso.comwww.andreacaruso.com----------------------------------------------- Unfortunately, I don't know how Renoir made that. I wished him luck in his project. This is the project he was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHlTvE-AI3Q(see my comment underneath the film).

HI,I saw your link on imdb from the Mystery of Picasso. I thought your recreation was great and I had a question about the movie that I couldn't find an answer to, but I thought you might know. What was he using on those last few paintings? I'm especially curious about the death of a matador painting and the one of the beach. Was it oil paint or ink or what? Jared ------------ Hello Jared, Thank you for contacting me. I haven't studied the film that intensely but, I'm assuming the last few paintings were paint and not ink. On some of the paintings, there would be outlines in ink and then the addition of colored paint - sometimes, it would be the addition of colored ink (which is only what I used). I'm guessing he used turpentine or some thinner to modify the last (beach) painting several times over. That is, he wiped out something that didn't satisfy him and then repainted over it - again and again. I'm sorry I couldn't provide any stronger answers. Stewart ------------ Ok, thanks! I was confused at the way he was painting over things because i was guessing it was oil paints. But then he was painting white lines on black and painting over things.. when I've tried that with oil it all just smears together! Interesting that it might be ink on top of the oil paints, I'll have to try that.
Thanks and keep up the good work, Jared

Genre: pop/folk/acoustic
Band Members: Stewart Brodian (guitar)
Influences: John Lennon, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Roy Orbison, The Kinks
Web site: www.brodian.com, www.myspace.com/brodianmusic, searchable on IMDB.com
Upcoming shows: Jul 11: Riverview Arts Center, Phillipsburg, NJ, 9 p.m.
If you could play any venue, where would it be? Stewart: The State Theatre. It's the most prestigious.
If your music were to be used in any movie, what would it fit with best? Stewart: Since one of my songs is a rockabilly style, I would guess for one of those 1950s rebel movies.
If you could play back up for any band, or if you had to be a cover band for any band, which would you choose? Stewart:
When I was a kid, I wanted to play John Lennon in a Beatles tribute
band. I felt I identified with him the most out of all the four
Beatles. I wasn't Paul, I wasn't the self-involved musician like George
Harrison, I wasn't the sleepy-eyed drummer like Ringo Starr. I was just
the guy having fun and rocking.
