After three years from the beginning of the work on the debut CD we at last approached to the end. The band is glad to present you the new album Edge Of Time. It's a diverse and nonstandard disc which demonstrates creativity and technical potential of NIGHTSIDE GLANCE. In general our style can be defined as sympho black metal, but here we tried to find different dark feelings, we used lots of atmospheric instrumental pieces. Probably it is a way from the classical through to contemporary black and even black death metal with frequent changes of rhythm and structures.
Anyway, each track is like an independent part, which make the general outlook of album harmonically unique. Beautiful atmospheric passages and symphonic keyboards are combined with furious and aggressive guitars, blasting drums and truly black vocals. This is black art in all its sides and variety. In the nearest plans of our band are some promo-work and the presentation of new material to the biggest quantity of listeners, participation in radio-programs and live gigs, nearest of which will pass in Moscow on July 24.
Many people ask why we put out material for free download? It is not so easy, as someone can imagine. Due to the progress of globalization process and pirate internet distribution it's clear that music is going to be free at all someday. Almost free, specially for underground bands. That's why we are trying to reach maximum listeners and not to earn money. Sure, mp3 tracks available for downloading are compressed with low bit rate, this is only somekind preview version.
