Ok, so I have been slacking on the photoblogs bigtime lately. Here is a project that I did last semester. Basically, I tried to make at least one photo everyday for a little over a week that was interesting and somehow related to my life. I have decided not to include captions because I wanted the experience to be more interpretave than me telling you exactly what each one is about. Hope you enjoy them...

So the other night I went with Tanner to take a few night shots at Chico State, and we came across the racquetball courts. We went inside one of them, and they were really cool looking. Lots of crazy lighting and reflections. We stayed a while, and some really drunk girl said she saw flashing and came over to see what I was doing. Well, it was pitch black in the court, and I think I scared her. She turned on the light, and proceeded to ask me all about my camera and junk. For a second she paused, and kind of swallowed, and I thought she was going to barf right on my camera. I was pretty scared, and I asked her if she was okay, and she said yeah, and kept talking for another 5 minutes or so until her friend drug her out. Then we left and walked around a bit more, and I took a few more photos, and then we left. It was a pretty cool little trip though, and I think I got a few good ones although their style isn't what I usually shoot. Enjoy with an open mind, but feel free to critique as well.

(my fave)

Hey ya'll recently I went on a little excursion with JJ and Tanner to SF, and we took some photos. It was a lot of fun, and so I thought that I'd post some of them here. The highlights of the trip were, JJ's sister's friend kissing a cab driver (wasnt there to witness), Tanner puking from motion sickness, a crazy lady yelling at everyone on the street, me almost breaking my camera, my sweet foldup shades and 20 dollar cords from H&M, our two and a quarter hour trip home, anchor steam beer, segway gangs, dudes sunbathing, remeniscing about history of graphic design, talking about bitchin' places we could never afford, Joes crab shack, fountain photos, Germain dudes, and a bunch of other stuff. Definitely gotta do it again. Enjoy...

Make sure you wash that water...

JJ chillin with some of his homies.

Building on the right is by the world famous and late architect Phillip Johnson.

Another shot of it.

Tanner enjoying his fine lollypop.

Some cool shadows.

Taking in the sights...

Tanner...

Tanner again...

Some sort of reflection or something.

For all those design students out there, here is a Byron Wolfe beginning photo assignment ..2.

Waiting for the bus...not that exiting.

Crabs at Peir 39.

Some breakdancin fools.

The beginning of a few pictures of pigeons.

I think this was my favorite photo all weekend that I took. Just a took it and came out lucky I guess.

Ha ha, look, the hand is a shadow puppet...that's funny...

Bushman strikes again, this time freaking out a little girl.

Lock all children indoors, the Segway gang is on the loose!
Hope you enjoyed the photos. Feel free to leave any thoughts if you are so inclined. Thanks for looking.

Here are some photos from a wedding I took photos for a few weeks ago. Very stressful, but I managed to survive. (Oh, and once again, photobucket decided to resize like half of the images. Sorry, nothing I can do).

Hey everyone who reads these,
I havent posted anything in a while, but I just got done shooting a wedding, and am still working on those photos, but I'm almost done. These photos however are one of the first commercial jobs that I have gotten for an up and coming tea store here in Chico. The store is owned by the same owners who run Bidwell Perk. Anyway, it should be a great gig because they are opening like 10 new stores, and one will be in Pac Bell park, or 3Com, or whatever it is. They wanted some photos of a self-serve tea brewing device. Here is what I came up with.

Not super exiting, but they have the potential to be a really great client.

Here are some random photos of stuff that I have taken over the past while (great English huh?). I may pick one for the student show, so if anyone has a favorite let me know. I haven't put up photos from Guatemala because I am doing a book as a PDF, and it's not done yet, but Guatemala was a blast. Thanks for looking.

Well folks, tomorrow morning it's off to Guatemala with my photography professor, and human geography professor for my spring break travels. I'm extremely exited, as can be expected, and it should be very fun. As far as I know, wel will be rolling in to Guatemala City, and then going straight to Antiga, and from there we'll be bumming around a whole lot. Sorry there isnt much info in this blog about my travels, but after I get back I'll do a photo blog, and tell all about my trip. Anyway, I got 2 tests to study for, so I better be going.
LOVE YOU ALL -Oliver

As some of you may have already read, I went to Wyoming with my brother to take photos for a dude ranch. Well, if you want to read about it, read my first blog. It was a blast though. Anyhow, here are some of the shots if you are interested.
