Just because we couldn't resist, we uploaded some new songs to our myspace page and asked our friends over at the Fan Club page (in our top friends) to mix up what they had posted so you guys can have a chance to check out more of the album! We figured since we have the greatest fans in the world, why not so something nice for them. Please let us know what you think about the new tracks. Drop us a comment if you've got the time. We won't forget it.

See you all around the bend,
David Gielan

It's official. The record is now available! Drop by the band page and pick up your copy before it becomes too trendy, and then you won't want to, because by then your parents might be listening to it, and then it won't be cool, and then Ryan Seacrest might mention it somewhere, and then it will be top 40, next end up on one of those cheesy Music NOW compilations, and you will here a musac version of one of our songs in an elevator when you are late for your dentist appointment, and then Indie radio staiton DJ's will complain that we sold out even though we haven't done anything to warrant that response, and you completely missed the boat.

And all this happened because you didn't go to our page and download your copy of a record that is actually pretty decent. Look what you did! LOOK!

Or you could just click this, but no pressure ;o)

It's done.. it's finally done. Who thought it was even possible. The album is finished. It only took 10 months and countless hours in the studio. The best part about this is that I have not been this proud of a record in a really long time. It took everything out of me to get these tracks from conception to fruition and I think everyone is going to really love it as much as we do.
We settled finally on the 11 tracks in addition to some extra treats along the way. As far as when you guys get your hands on a copy, (I have been getting hundreds of emails a day so here is my "mass mailing answer") it should be about 3 weeks from today. We will upload the songs to our online store in about two weeks and the hard copies will be delivered to our CD Baby store in about the same time. I also haven't forgotten about all of you who sent me your address for a free copy. If you responded to the posting for your very own free copy of the record, it is still coming. As soon as I get the pressed jams in hand, I will drop them in the mail same day.
Either way, we just wanted to take the time to say thanks to everyone who had a hand in helping us get the record off the ground and definitely thank you all for all the encouragement and support while we have been squeezing out this labor of love.

Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming Los Angeles CD Release Party in late March and more upcoming shows. Now that the album is in the can, we can get back to doing what we do best. Rocking your face off one note at a time!

-David

I entered my current band Oh Crap! Ninjas in a video competition on STAR 98.7 FM (an LA local radio station) called "Rockstar 987". Now since I never really ask anyone for anything, I was hoping that this time I could get some help.

We really have a shot to win this competition and the winner receives a record deal from Ironworks Music, Kiefer Sutherlands record label.

What I need from you is to take 30 seconds out of your busy life and vote. You have the power to really make a difference in someone's life in a positive way and it doesn't cost you anything other than a moment of your time. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

I voted and it only took a sec but I can't be the only one.

If you click this link, VOTE!!! , and click the "VOTE" link at the top, scroll down the list and check our name "Oh Crap! Ninjas" and submit your vote, your are putting me one step closer to giving me the only thing I truly ever wanted in life. The song up there is not our best but it was the only one I could make a video with.

I hope this message gets to you and you can find it in your heart to help me out.

Either way, thanks for your time and have a great day!

Oh Crap! Ninjas' Fan Club are looking for new street team members. If you like what you read and hear, become a STREET TEAM NINJA!!!

Well the street teams main responsibilities for the band are as follows:

1) Attending all local performances.

2) Walking around during the performances with a mailing list and offering the crowd members to add their information.

3) Giving out free merchandise to crowd members.

4) Manning the merchandising table and selling merch during the show.

5) Passing out flyers around town close to the venue of the upcoming performance( i.e. walking up and down Melrose Ave placing flyers in stores and handing them out for a show at The Gig)

6) Inviting everyone you know and meet to each show.

Here's what you get in return:

1) Free Merch and CD's

2) Get into all performances for free.

3) Featured on the bands myspace page as a Street Team Ninja

4) Free Drink at each show.

5) Invitations to Music Industry parties and events that the band attends.

6)Ability to hang out in the studio with the band while they are recording.

7) A percentage of the money made for selling merchandise at performances.

Being a street team member is all about having fun, going to shows and promoting the band. The only requirement for being a street team member is wearing a street team shirt (shirt provided and for you to keep) at the shows and not getting too drunk to be able to be helpful. We encourage each Street Team Ninja to help out as much as they can but we do realize that people have lives and plenty of other things going on.

Just so you know, the street team is pretty slim right now due to the fact that we had to fire most of our team members because they were stealing money and merch at shows. If you would like to become a Street Team Ninja, please email the Bishop through the band's Myspace page and he will set you up with all the details.

Thanks for reading and see you at the show!
