I am deeply sadden by the passing of a friend. She was a teacher my son had in 4th grade. But, she was the kind of teacher that brought out the best out of her students! D had an amazing witness to everyone. She never missed church and was very active. D went to church on Christmas Eve and Christmas, she died Saturday. She fought lung and brain cancer for 6 1/2 years. I know that she is with God. Tomorrow, I will go and say good-bye to this wonderful woman.

Okay I was channel surfin' and I happen to see Oprah's messy house tour........My house isn't bad but I was inspired! I loved the show and being organized ROCKS! My life is so much easier when all the clutter is gone.
Here are some amazing tips:
*if you haven't used it in 12 months get RID of if
*store like items together
*commit to staying organized
*What do you want out of your space?
*recycle things
I love it!!!

There is some things that you have to walk away from and I want to do that but it will take an act of congress to get my Tocan out of her current class and into a new one! We will have to see what happens next!
Let's talk about Football!!!! I love this sport, it reminds me of when I was a little girl and watching my dad coaching his football team. Then in school I was in the band and played at the football games. I wasn't intrested in the game for a very LONG time! But last year the boy was on the football team and I remembered how much I love the sport. This year the boy is on the team again ,what an amazing year! I wish my dad was alive to watch him play. out of all the boys, my nephews and the boy, who knew that my boy would have a passion for the game.
Let's talk about TEXAS TECH football.....go RAIDERS! I married into a Texas family and I will cheer them on.but nothing will come between me and my Raiders!!! Now these teams are ranked 2 and 3. This season has ROCKED and every weekend is an adventure! Get your GUNS up!!!

don't ya hate it? I am trying to figure out am I in a rut or overwhelmed? I have this overwhelming feeling to just craft...I want to smash tile, create cards, work with ribbon, work with paper and not be bothered by anything. I haven't really crafted in a long time. I think I have lost my I mojo. I worked this last year and I just didn't have time. I think about crafting but don't. I have no other reason why. I have begun to put things off because it is the same in and same out. Blah.... blah..... I hate feeling this way....I guess it is off to sleep and start anew tomorrow. As Scarlett said... tomorrow is another day!

I have to say the school year hasn't been great for the Tuke. I have been to the Principal's office and it is ONLY the 2nd day!!! It is my second year in public school and there is always SOMETHING. All I can think is why do I have to be a bit*h to get something done?? I am tired of all the BS, yes OPA gone are the days of hassle free education. I was so sheltered, in private school I knew the teachers and they knew me. When I left them at school I KNEW they were safe and LOVED, but in public school I haven't gotten that! When I take my Tuke in tomorrow I will know that she isn't going to have that safe and loving place and it hurts my heart, that I can't protect her and her feelings. Teachers are suppose to encourage, guide, teach and do it in a kind way. My baby bird feels like the teacher is mean, and fears that the teacher will retaliate against her (even though it was her friends that told me how she was treated) and that the teacher doesn't like her. It is taking everything not to RIP this teacher apart but I know that I need to give her a chance to explain herself and hope and pray that we can build a better relationship.Doing the right thing isn't always easy but I have to give her a chance, Right???? what are your thoughts???

It has been a pretty crazy few days but I have to say that I have a lot to think about and get together. This journey called life is always surprising me. In the last year has been a full of changes for myself and my peeps......got a job, kids entered public school, friends of mine have found their one true love, lost some sweet pets of mine, rescued a few furry babies, mourned some amazing people, vacationed with my kids, reconneted with my BF, and I discovered how fragile life is. I will be taking a break from my blog,,,,,,,,

the crayons, the markers, and the newly sharpened pencils. The football teams are starting to practice for Friday night Football and the band is working on the half time show. Ahhhhhh, the memories I have but now I am the parent. I see the excitement and dread from my kids. The school bus will be here in 2 weeks! ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
