I realize I have been quiet, so very, very quiet.... You have to admit that perhaps it was a nice change from my constant ramblings...... I suppose you can chalk it up to, hmmm, well, hell, I don't know. I just had nothing to say.
I have held my tongue over the past year, even when at times I wanted to scream, shout, etc, but I have done well. I have managed to keep my opinion to myself (at least on here, J still hears them..lol)
The months of this year have pretty much been the same, sick, sick, sick.... Sometimes I wonder how many more stickings my body can take...lol I can only cross my fingers and hope that we will be out of the South soon.... The year hasn't been all bad, we have been on a few Holidays, up to SD and Oregon, so those are always nice sick free months....lol
The kids' dad is getting deployed in the next couple of months so my babies get to stay for a couple more years, which led to them coming to the decision they wanted to Home school again... I leapt with joy inside, because I did miss that.
Gavin (10th grade), of course, has the hardest year ahead of him since he will be taking his college tests at the end of this year. (Plus, we are trying to combine 2 years of Latin into 1, so next year he can take his final year of Latin and work on Japanese for the final two years of High School)
So, I want your honest opinion here, since I have been harassed by the School Board, Schools and Social Service over the fact that I am Homeschooling. I am going to list JUST our FIRST term (12 weeks) books (I will put all year next to them if they will be used all year) and you tell me what you think, where will my kids get a better education, at home or at the crappy ass Louisiana Schools.....

Of course, I haven't included their "free" books they are allowed to read, or all the extra computer games and programs they have...
You, know I get bloody tired of people questioning..... I find offense when people (i.e. Social Worker) try to give me advice about how to "Socialize" my kids..... I fecking hate that bloody word.... Of course, I just calmly told her how I can understand how the uneducated, in regards to Homeschooling, may have trouble understanding, why we may do something, but that I am well within my legal rights.....
I just, grrrr.......... I can't wait to move away from here..... I suppose I should explain why Social Services were out here... I went outside the other day because Duke was barking and barking.... There was someone sitting outside in our driveway. I approached them and asked what I could do for them...
Long story short, my 7 yr old son (which is actually my 10 yr old daughter) was seen digging around trash, running barefoot and refusal to speak to the adult when she was spoken too. I was like, ok... first of all, SHE is ten, second of all, what is the issue of going barefooted? Next, she has been taught her whole life NOT to talk to strangers.... and of course lastly, was she eating from the trash??? ( the answer was no, which I knew it would be) So, I say, she was looking for treasure (she is constantly bringing home stuff people throw out to build things with).
Of course, being where we are and them obviously having NOTHING better to do with their time and YOUR money, had to conduct a home interview and investigation.... Which annoyed the hell out of me... After talking to Dakotah, this whole incident boiled down to, she found an old broken dolly (that you move stuff with) in the woods by some trash cans and she heard an adult talking to her, took off with the dolly and came back home......
They come into the house, proceed to question me and the kids, and J once he got home.... What perturbed me the most was, not once was the question brought up to Dakotah about digging in the trash, refusal to talk to the adult, etc ( supposedly the whole reason they came). Instead, the interview started off with show me your Home school program, schedule, etc....
That's when I really got pissed.... I was already pissed off they were here and had interrupted our Shakespeare play study (A Midsummer's Night Dream), but to come under false pretenses pissed me off even more....
Needless to say, after threatening to contact the HSLDA (Home school defense agency) they backed off. And of course everything was dropped because there was nothing to investigate....
Taxpayers, aren't you glad you Paid for that???? That is the kind of bullshit your money goes too..... You know, I told her, I could understand you coming out here, had the individual who made the call stated the child was eating out of the trash, or had odd bruises, something along those lines.... but barefoot, a dolly and refusal to talk to a stranger??? Geez.....
Well, I'm getting tired of writing and the kiddos are done with their math, so I need to hop off.... Perhaps, I will write more later, perhaps not.... :)

After picking up Stormie from Choir practice the other day, I was both saddened and amused as to what she had to report. They had mock voting for the presidential elections and she cast her vote for Obama. A friend and her got into a discussion about McCain v/s Obama.
This is what her friend and several other classmates had to tell her about Obama- If he's elected we will only get off one week at christmas, one week in the summer, and the week of his birthday. (now that amused me) The one that saddened me was this- If he's elected he's going to kill off all the white people. There were a few other comments made (I can't remember them right off-hand) and it made me think about something.
These are 6th graders saying this stuff, of course I realize that what is coming out of their mouths is only repeating what they have heard the grownups in their life say. I understand I live in the South, but honestly I get so tired of the ignorance. To think, we STILL live in a country where skin color is a deciding factor when it comes to our votes.
Of course, you understand that I am only stating this because of the remarks I have also heard around town, when the question was raised about who are you going to vote for...
I was proud to cast my vote for Obama. I wish him all the luck in the world, he has alot of messes to try and clean up. I hope that the citizens of this fine country can look past his skin color and support him.
To me, politics is about much more than money. Raise my taxes, I don't care- if that money is going to benefit our enviroment, education, healthcare-do IT! Those are the important issues at the end of the day.
I love the fact that I am raising Little Dems. You know what the coolest thing is though? When we sit around the dinner table and talk about the issues at hand, the changes that this country needs to see, they get it.
That folks gives me hope for our future.

Two in one night? Wow, you must feel lucky!!! Of course, I am kidding.... :-) Jason, the kids and I got back from our little holiday yesterday, and I have to say, I didn't want to leave at all!!!!
We left last Wednesday for San Antonio to stay with our friends and left the next day for the Sacred Well Congregation International Interfaith Celebration. It was located in a beautiful spot. We had a great time while we were there, learning, catching up with old friends and making new friends.
It is hard for me to pick just a couple of good things about the weekend, but a couple stand out in my mind. I was honored to meet a couple of wonderful ladies whom I have been reading for years now- Kristin Madden and Judy Harrow. They have both contributed so many things, not only to the Pagan community, but to my own growth and development over the years.... It was truly wonderful getting to know these two ladies.
I could go on forever about the things I enjoyed and learned, but I fear I wouldn't be able to stop writing...lol The kids had a blast, they didn't want to leave Dea and Darron's either... I'm just glad we will be heading back up there Veteran's Day weekend to spend some more time with them.. (I do miss them dearly)
Just one more quick thing before I close, I was so proud of Stormie last night, she came into our room before bed time excited. She had come up with an excellent plan! She asked me if writing all of the companies that manufactured green products and organic products, asking them to donate items so she could hold a yard sale to raise money for Breast Cancer Research would be a good idea. I thought it was a wonderful idea for a 10 yr old to come up with on their own, and just added that perhaps it would raise more money if she wrote them and asked them to donate a small percentage of their profits to Breast Cancer Research.
I love having children who are aware of the problems in this world and try to find solutions. I feel as if, perhaps, somewhere along the path of their childhood that I have at least done something right!
I have high hopes for all of my kiddos, it makes my heart sing when I hear Gavin talking about joining the Peace Corps after High School is over with.
I am rambling, I will close.... G'night...

Your Sun Sign: Gemini Sun 20° Gemini 31'
Element: Air Key Planet: Mercury The Twins go everywhere together, hand-in-hand, symbolizing your dual nature. Our world comes in pairs: good and evil, male and female, in and out, yin and yang -- and you Geminis are living proof. Some might say you are an entanglement of paradoxes, but the truth is that you have an easy acceptance of opposites. Your world is one of duality. You can like this and that, one thing and its opposite. It's like you see your world through a radio and you can tune experiences and points of view in and out as your interests change.
Motto: "A rolling stone gathers no moss." Greatest Strength: Your curiosity about a variety of interests Possible Weakness: Distracting yourself from what is most important
(Your Sun Sign represents your basic individuality, who you are when you are alone. )
Your Moon Sign: Scorpio Moon 4° Scorpio 02'
It can be hard to trust others when you have the Moon in Scorpio because you are so sensitive to questions of power and control. You're aware of deep issues that most people don't want to face. You know what it's like to go to the very depths of emotions, both with passion and with fear. You need intensity, even if that means shaking up a relationship at times. That's because you're not satisfied with what lies on the surface. Getting to the bottom of things can disturb others (and you as well)… but it's hard to keep from going where your feelings take you. It's this emotional courage, though, that makes you such a powerful person, able to work through complex matters that most people refuse to face.
Motto: "No one feels more intensely than me." Greatest Strength: Emotional persistence Possible Weakness: Shame about your secrets
(Your Moon Sign represents your "inner" or "emotional" self, or the way you handle your emotions and the way you truly feel, whether you reveal it or not. To most astrologers, the moon is also about your intuition, your inner vulnerabilities, your fears as well as the things that can stir your heart.)
Your Rising Sign: Cancer Ascendant 17° Cancer 00'
Cancer Rising indicates a protective nature, sensitive to the environment and concerned with avoiding pain or discomfort. Sometimes, it's expressed by defending others, taking on a strong position to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves. But it can also be about self-protection that can make you wary of new situations. You tend to carefully take measure of your surroundings before opening up. This is an instinctive process based on your feelings, which tend to guide you more than logic. You have a well-developed sense of where you feel at home, allowing you to relax and open up when the conditions are right, but shutting you down like a clam where you feel judged or uncertain.
Motto: "Safety comes first." Greatest Strength: Protecting those around you Possible Weakness: An unwillingness to take risks (Your Rising Sign is an important part of your astrological chart, because it represents the way you project yourself outward, the way you're seen and perceived by the rest of the world and the general "impression" that you make on others)
Your Chinese Sign: The Ox The OX … THE DILIGENT OX
Mantra: I create in balance.
The Ox is the most balanced Chinese sign, loving peace, harmony and beauty. At the same time, Oxen can be strong willed, and behind their beautiful, serene faces can be a great temper and a critic that reacts angrily to anyone who threatens or harms them. They love family life but tend to be quite traditional in their values. Oxen only deeply trust a handful of people throughout their lives. They hate fussy or chaotic types -- for the Ox, life has to be easy. With their logical minds and creative hands, Oxen can produce the most perfect artworks and innovations.

Category: Life
It happened a little after midnight, the room was dark and cool. I had just finished watching a show and was laying there debating with myself whether or not sleep would overtake me. Deep down I knew it wasn't going to happen....
The door opens, then shuts. A couple of minutes later, it opens again, this time I hear a sob and a frightened voice say, "Mom? There's a really big spider on my laundry basket and I can't go in there, I can't sleep in there!"
It's my Gennae (the one who is still fighting the brown recluse bite) and she's shaking and crying. I tell her to hold on a sec while I throw a t-shirt on and find my shoes and a shoe to kill it with. At this point, I really thought I would be dealing with a "normal" size spider.
I get to her room and see the King Kong of Brown Recluses (it had that nice fiddle on it) and then I became nervous. At this point, I have to say I considered calling one of our buddies (Perkins) to come to the house and bring his gun to take care of it, but common sense flooded into my brain a split second after that thought entered... (you know the whole, the rest of the guys in the barracks would never believe that Matthew would be coming over just to kill a spider for me since Jason is gone...)
So, I woke up my son.
(He is the man of the house for the next couple of days while Jason is gone...lol)
Poor kid, I opened his door, woke him up, told him I needed his help and quickly reminded him that he was the man of the house.... So he gets out of bed, looks at me and follows...
We get to Gennaes room and the one thing I didn't want to happen {well, one of the things}, happened. Gavin quickly informed me that he was extremely freaked out by this spider.
I'm serious when I say this WAS the KING KONG of Brown Recluses. I think he was the great, great, great, great, great grandaddy of all the local recluses...
I knew that he had to be killed. He had already bitten once and if he didn't die, my little girl would never go back in that room.
So, I thought.
I tried my fearless cats, who chase the mice that like to come in. [which, if Stormie happens to be around and sees that they are playing with one, she traps it and takes it back out to the woods alive. I think that is so cute..] Even they ran from it. Both of them, and they play with spiders all the time......
So I thought.....
A memory tugged at my mind, then a picture came, I had a bottle of insect posion. I went to get that, while Gavin kept his eye on granpappy, making sure he didn't escape. I get back to the room and handed Gavin the bottle to pour on him, and he looks at me.
I believe his exact words were, "Mom, I can't. I'm really freaked out by him, I can't."
So, there I was, facing granpappy alone, hoping to god, he wouldn't jump on me and bite me, because I certainly didn't want to go through what my baby girl is going through.
I walked into the lions den.
......
...............
I dumped the rest of the bottle of poison on him and stepped back to make sure he didn't escape. Oh, granpappy ran, alright, luckily he just went deeper into the laundry basket... I almost felt bad for him, as I watched him die. I don't really like killing spiders, I prefer to relocate them outside, but I knew in the core of my soul, that granpappy was the one responsible for the last 3 weeks of pain and many more weeks of pain, that my baby girl is going through... I had to avenge her. She deserved that closure.
I used a rake to pull the laundry basket outside to the garage, then played with him for a moment to make sure that he had in fact gone on to his next life...
He had...
(whew)
Gennae slept on the sofa last night, she refused to go back into her room. I don't blame her, to be honest as made the trek down the long hallways back to our room, I was looking everywhere for granpappy's kin, knowing they will seek revenge...
In fact, I did something I never do, NEVER do..... I slept with the Telly on. (hmmmm, I bet that's why my dreams were so weird last night...)
Poor Jason, I called him around one or so and woke him up, just so I could hear his voice.
Granpappy better not come calling again tonight.
Or his kin....
(I just had a shiver run down my spine...)
{Have I mentioned lately, that I absolutely, can NOT wait to get out of the South?????}

Current mood: nervous
Category: Life
First things first, I'm nervous at the moment. Very nervous. What started out as a Sunday trip to the ER has now turned into a nightmare. On Sat, Gennae (my 13yr old) showed us her leg. My first thought was Brown Recluse Bite, but there was no hole, so I wasn't sure. On Sunday, the redness had spread quite alot and it began to get that tell, tell bullseye look. So we took her into the ER.
Once there, if you have ever had to deal with military hospitals, you know how long the wait is.... Once we finally got in, we didn't even get to see a REAL doctor, only a PA (which I'm not knocking them, just frustrating is all). They put an IV with antibiotics and pain killer in her, let that run it's course and sent us home with two different types of antibiotics. The diagnosis? Cellulitis. I knew they were wrong, but it gets frustrating trying to argue with military doctors.(or PA's in this case)
The next day, she has a hole in her leg. By last night it was getting deeper. So, I called today to make an appt (very, very early) and they were filled up. So I had to wait on a damn nurse to call me back and took me forever to convince her that she needed to be seen.
Finally, early this afternoon she was seen. Of course, by a PA again. Which this time, I didn't mind to bad because I have seen her quite often and knew she had balls. She took one look at Gennae's leg, cleaned it out to see how deep it was and, looked at me and said this is bad, real bad and left.
A couple of minutes later I hear her on the phone yelling at someone telling them they needed to get over here as quick as possible, then called someone else, yelling at them for releasing her from the ER without doing their jobs right....lol (I thought that was funny)
A couple of minutes later the doctor walks in, takes a look at it (I swear his face got paler), puts a swab in to get a culture (which the damn thing was almost an inch in her leg before he stopped). Tells me that we are going to try the wet/dry dressing approach. By this point, I am quite irritated. I already know what it is, and I was tired of them dancing around the issue. I asked how the hell that was going to stop the venom from destroying more of her leg. Of course, he stumbled around the issue saying that he wasn't sure if it would or not, but it was worth a try.
Bottom line is this, she got bit by a brown recluse, and it's turned nasty. We have to go back to the doc early thursday morning, if it hasn't improved, we get to go talk to the surgeon.
That is what I am nervous about.
Ok, enough about my issues, I'll get on to the real purpose of this blog.
Devoid of Color
I got to thinking this morning, what would the world be like if there was no color. Can you imagine it? I wonder if we would be more aware.
Think about it for a moment, in a world full of color we don't have to exercise our brain at all. Details just pop out at us, but if it was only black and white, we would have to search more carefully for details, therefore exercising our brains more. In the process making us smarter.
An interesting theory, aye? I think that is why I like black and white so much when it comes to my page theme or photographs, because it forces the eyes to find the details.
Ok, I'm losing my train of thought, to many damn thoughts running around this brain of mine, I may or may not explore this subject at a later date, but right now, I can't....:)

I took a step back earlier, just a little step mind you, and I realized one thing, within madness is hope.
Sounds crazy I know, but think about it for a moment. Look at the world around us, look at the headlines, look at yourself.
When is the last time you turned on the news, or read the news and read a story(or heard) that didn't involve mudslinging, stocks dropping, floods, war all around, bombs going off, yada, yada, yada... You catch my drift. When?
Today, I found a glimmer of hope. One small shred, which granted, diehard christians will argue with me and say it is an abomination of the devil, but to them I can only laugh....
What is this glimmer of hope I speak of???
Wed Sep 17, 6:03 AM ET
SYDNEY (Reuters) - The Australian government has issued its first license allowing scientists to create cloned human embryos to try and obtain embryonic stem cells.
I have had many an argument with my father over this issue, but the fact still remains, I support this type of research. Four years ago when the doctors told me that my 6 yr old had cancer, I was devestated, thank the gods, that even though the first two stainings came back positive, the others did not, but hardly anyone in that situation is as blessed as she was. There are many more that die every year because a cure has not been found.
Granted I've done quite a bit of research on the matter since my mother is dying of Imflammatory Breast Cancer, and have found another glimmer of hope in that regard.... Look up the herb Graviola, read what it does...
I digress, I did not mean to get sidetracked..:)
Within Madness there is hope.
You know, here's the thing, NONE of us can escape the madness of this world, it doesn't matter how much we hid in our perfect lives, our perfect jobs, etc, the madness will always be there.

Should I go on? I haven't really gotten into OUR (US) headlines yet.
It's fucking madness all of it.
There once was a time when I cared about the state of our country, it's leaders, now, I could care less. I hear these fucking ads on the radio for people running for congress saying our economy is strong. I truly laugh. I cry because I laugh so damn hard.
Are our "leaders" that fucking stupid? (and our wanna be leaders?)
How can you ignore this?
Stocks sink after government bailout of AIG
Bank fears, AIG fallout drive Wall St sell-off
Morgan Stanley and Goldman plummet as crisis mounts
How????
How can one claim our Economy is strong? Foreclosures, Bankruptcy's, unemployment rates rising, food cost rising, gas rising, etc, etc, etc...
But yet, our leaders want us to believe our economy is strong. That we are not in trouble. Long ago, many battles and wars were won, just by waiting; cutting off supply lines, starving the people out. (there is a lesson there somewhere right?)
I have come to the point where I don't care anymore. I don't care who is elected. What I do care about is this, if we feel the need to go to war, do it the right fucking way, kill every man, woman and child that crosses our path, and get the hell out. Return home and start working on building our defenses back up. Revoke the tax incentives to the US companies that allow them to go overseas and bring those jobs back home, make our nation strong again with the hearts of it's people!
Those of you that are lucky enough to have high paying stable jobs that allow you to afford the rising costs of this nation, thank your lucky stars. There are many out there who have to work 2,3,4 jobs just to be able to get by. There are many more who are starving and homeless.
It is a dog eat dog world out there and unless we start healing our nation, we will be eaten.
Within madness is hope.......... right?

I really like that combination of words, it just rolls off of the tongue so easily...;)
Kids are just to damn smart these days, check out the story below:
Wed Jul 30, 8:10 PM ET BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield woman faces charges that she counterfeited money and identification cards after her 10-year-old son turned her in to authorities.
According to Kern County Superior Court records, the boy gave sheriff's deputies phony money last month that his mother created. The child told investigators she also had a computer that makes fake ID cards.
Deputies executing a search warrant seized computer disks, scanners and printers.
The thirty-year-old woman is due in court Friday. She faces several charges, including possessing equipment to commit forgery.
Deputies said she was arrested July 4 and posted $50,000 bail the same day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bet if she would've been more generous with him, he never would've turned her in...
I guess we are up to 4 dogs, 2 cats and 7 kids now....
I'm not quite sure how the 4 dogs came in to play, it started with Duke, he just showed up, so I took him in, then Tumor started coming around, of course, I have to love on him as well... Then Squeak showed up, then last of all Buddy... I don't think the latter 3 stay all the time, I'm pretty sure they have homes.. (I know Buddy does and I know who the owner is, so its all good.)
I think it's wonderful having such a full house, Jason, on the otherhand, doesn't. I honestly don't know why it bothers him, they don't make messes, love the kiddos, and all get along so well... It's like they are the guardians of the house... I'll have to take pics and post them...
I enjoy the company of the animals, it's nice to walk up to the mailbox with a PACK of dogs at my heels... I kinda feel like the dog whisperer...lmao
I can't believe the summer is coming to a close... Thank the gods Beate blogged about when school started, otherwise the kiddos would've missed a couple of weeks....lol I had NO clue it started so early... What happened to the days of starting school after labor day and releasing right before Memorial Day? I could understand longer school years if our schools' scores were rising, but since it's declining it really makes no sense to me whatsoever... I guess it's just the continued process of dumbing down America....
Well, I'm off.... Gotta see a rooster about a cock. Out!

Have you ever had one of those days, where you just think to yourself, will it EVER end???? Today was a day like that for me....
It started with the power going out... No biggie, or so I thought... We decided to just go outside and get some things done that needed to be done. There we are a nice HOT day, only 101 today, not sure what the heat index was or the humidity factor, I just know it was hot....
Jason asked Gavin to back up my Jeep so Gavin would be able to pull the garden hose out from underneath, apparently when I pulled in yesterday I wasn't paying attention...:)
I see my 14 and half year son climb into my Jeep, so I walked over to make sure he would be able to do it. I reminded him which pedal was which and reinterated the fact that there was no need to use the gas....
Let me take a moment here to explain the layout of our land. Our driveway curves into the back of the house, it happens to be lined with trees. Our whole yard is filled with trees.
So, Gavin starts the Jeep, puts it in reverse and proceeds to punch the gas. In horror I am watching my son, heading straight back, right on track to have full impact with two trees. I'm screaming at him to hit the brake, over and over.....
Finally, he hits the brake throws the car in park and I'm pulling him out....
I know, two trees? Doesn't sound like a big deal, but considering he had punched the gas and wasn't wearing a seatbelt, I felt like my heart stopped beating.
I didn't stop shaking for a long time....
In fact, I think about 50 gray hairs sprouted...
I can only remember two other times in my life where I have been that terrified....
Boys......
This one is going to kill me yet....
LMAO...
Luckily, it scared him as bad as it scared me, if not more. After a few minutes (we were both still shaking) we looked at each other and started laughing..
I am not looking forward to driving lessons.....LOL
After almost 6 hours of no power, it was finally restored....
I can't wait until we are in the home that we build and are completely off the grid, self-sufficent...
The day has finally ended and I can now look forward to what this day will bring...
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

I ran across this song today, thought I would share it.... In my dream children sing a song of love for every boy and girl The sky is blue and fields are green and laughter is the language of the world Then I wake and all I see is a world full of people in need Tell me why (why) does it have to be like this? Tell me why (why) is there something I have missed? Tell me why (why) cos I don't understand. When so many need somebody we don't give a helping hand. Tell me why? Everyday I ask myself what will I have to do to be a man? Do I have to stand and fight to prove to everybody who I am? Is that what my life is for to waste in a world full of war? Tell me why (why) does it have to be like this? Tell me why (why) is there something I have missed? Tell me why (why) cos I don't understand. When so many need somebody we don't give a helping hand. Tell me why? (children) tell me why? (declan) tell me why? (children) tell me why? (declan) tell me why? (together) just tell me why, why, why? Tell me why (why) does it have to be like this? Tell me why (why) is there something I have missed? Tell me why (why) cos I don't understand. When so many need somebody we don't give a helping hand. Tell me why (why, why, does the tiger run) Tell me why (why why do we shoot the gun) Tell me why (why, why do we never learn) Can someone tell us why we let the forest burn? (why, why do we say we care) Tell me why (why, why do we stand and stare) Tell me why (why, why do the dolphins cry) Can some one tell us why we let the ocean die ? (why, why if we're all the same) tell me why (why, why do we pass the blame) tell me why (why, why does it never end) can some one tell us why we cannot just be friends?

Thought my friends from here would get a kick out of what I found on Yahoo's odd news link:
Chatty burglar overstays welcome, gets arrested -AP (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080712/ap_on_fe_st/odd_chatty_suspect_2)
Sat Jul 12, 2:56 AM ET
WINNSBORO, Texas - An apparently intoxicated suspect chatted with a burglary victim long enough for officers to arrive and arrest him, authorities said.
John Michael Baker, 25, of Winnsboro was jailed Friday on bond totaling $59,500, the Wood County Sheriff's Office said.
Baker was charged with burglary of a habitation and burglary of a vehicle. He was also wanted and charged in Franklin County with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana and burglary of habitation, a jailer told The Associated Press.
Jail records did not list an attorney for Baker.
Sheriff's Chief Deputy Debbie Foster said a woman saw a man breaking into her home, and she called her husband.
The husband hurried home and saw Baker making his getaway. He called 911 before heading over to talk to the suspect, whom he knows. The men chatted by the side of the road until deputies arrived.
Foster told the Tyler Morning Telegraph that Baker was "pretty intoxicated."

I have to say, I found this quite funny...:)

I feel like shit, my body is exhausted, and I want to scream......
BAH HUMBUG!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's not Christmas, but that sums up how I feel at the moment.
One good thing about having pneumonia again, is I am now under the direct care of the Commander of the hospital- whatever the f*** that means.... Apparently he is a pulmonologist, so that's good I guess... We will see...
You know what sucks??? It is beautiful weather outside (Finally, no rain) and here I am stuck in bed.... Although, I know it is for my own good, I just spent an hour at the grocery store (I do have to feed the kiddos) and now feel like I could fall asleep and not wake up for days.... (don't yell at Jason he was pissed I went, said he could've gone after work, but I can't see making him do that)
I wish I wouldn't wake up until this crap has passed on through.. I've essentially been in bed for one week now.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............
BAH HUMBUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Lovely post, aye?)

I'm probably about to hurt someones feelings without that being my intention, but here goes.....
I have this friend whom I keep seeing getting their heart broken and it makes me sad, but how does one say to a person, hun, date someone who deserves you, date someone who is at the same place in life you are, date someone who is around your age that can understand where you have been in life and where you want to go, without hurting their feelings or having them take it the wrong way?
I hate seeing women give their hearts to people then watch them be destroyed, especially when I have a strong sense about someone....
Perhaps I am just opinionated and it isn't my business, which it isn't really, but when you care about someone, you don't want to stand by and watch them get hurt, over and over again.....
Now, I know you will know who you are when you read this and I hope that you understand why I have written it, as opposed to telling you, sometimes it is easier to convey meanings through written words as opposed to verbal communication. I hope your feelings aren't hurt, as this was not the intended purpose, but I do hope that you will consider this opinion.
Good luck and remember you are a beautiful person (inside and out) and you deserve to have someone who will treat you like you deserve to be treated!
DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS!
Now, on to other things...
So this whole concept of owning your friends on Myspace is kind of silly, huh? So silly in fact, I have been actively buying and giving away friends as humans pets for a few days now...LOL
Why? Oh, hell, I don't know, it's kind of funny actually...
So yep, there you have it, I'm taking over the world, one person at a time...:)
Things have been busy here with the kids FINALLY back home! It takes awhile to get back into routine's but I'm loving every minute of it... I can't wait till we have all 8 babies here!!!
It is nice to have noise in the house again.... Yoda is having a difficult time adjusting to the younger two, Leia, on the otherhand is enjoying having playmates around...
Well, I need to get off this damn thing and go check on dinner....
GO GREEN! (sorry, had to say it!)
