Paesano
Productions Presents....
BioDiesel
ft Johnny Rabb (Worlds Fastest Drummer) & Clay
Parnell (Brothers Past)
plus
special guest The Collab Project
Paesano Productions is so proud to announce a special 4 night run with East
Coast based duo BioDiesel ‘the leaders in intelligent dance music’ January 27th
to the 30th; hitting all our favorite venues in San
Francisco, South Tahoe, Nevada City, & Reno.
BioDiesel lies in
razor thin space between band and dj, synthetic and human, man and machine.....
On one end you have drumming legend Johnny Rabb- pioneer of
the freehand technique, who has performed and given clinics the world over.
Recognized as an inventor, author, educator and the Original World's Fastest
Drummer, Johnny is able to execute his passion for live electronic music in
ways that few (if any) others are able. His high rhythmic plateau is the
foundation on which BioDiesel is constructed.
Add Clay
Parnell who is known throughout ..North America.. as bassist for Brothers Past - one of the
premiere bands blending rock and electronic music. Urb put their
latest studio release at "the top of the growing pile of genre bending
releases." Performing regularly with what reads like a who's who list in
the edm and livetronica world, Clay has emerged as the "go to"
bassist in this rapidly expanding genre.
As if the parts aren't powerful enough, the real story is
the sum that is BioDiesel when Johnny and Clay take the stage. Sharing writing
and production duties, the two are able to pull off their complex arrangements
utilizing the latest technology the world has to offer. The result is an
ensemble that is as powerful and majestic as it is sleek and streamlined.
Whether performing their original compositions or their crowd-pleasing live-dance
remixes, BioDiesel delivers. Though generally a duo, one never knows who will
be joining BioDiesel on stage. Their format so easily allows for guest sit-ins
that many BioDiesel performances have produced heavy-weight, one of a kind
collaboration.
Whether shaking a dance club to its foundation, blowing
the doors off a large theater or bringing a festival audience to their feet -
whether as a two-piece or as the center of a larger ensemble, BioDiesel is on the
cutting edge of tangible electronic music.

THE COLLAB PROJECT
Every set is unique, each one is a journey. The Collab Project will take you on
that journey through a musical blend of live electronic jam, hip hop, break
beat, pscytrance, a little drum and bass, and whatever crunk sub-ing sounds
they can explore. Whether performing as a DUO, Trio, or full on ensemble The
Collab Project is bringing sexy bass for that laid back rager.

Paesano Productions Presents DARK PARTY ft Eliot Lipp & Leo 123 special guest Mux MoolTues Dec 1st - MIGHTY, San Francisco w BENDER Wed Dec 2nd - BAR 24 Bills Casino, S Lake Tahoe w AD/AM Thurs Dec 3rd - COOPERs, Nevada City w KINETIC KUTZ Fri Dec 4th - SE7EN, Reno w COOP DA LOOP Tickets & Info: www.PaesanoProductions.comDARK
PARTY is the electronic dance project of popular Brooklyn-based beats
producer ELIOT LIPP and his Chicago-based friend LEO123. They produce
and DJ electronic music influenced by Hip-Hop, Disco, Electro and
Techno, each with their own respective critically hailed releases. Eliot
has seen past international success having released albums on his own
Old Tacoma label, as well as labels like Hefty, Mush, and EastDev. Leo
has produced for MCs like Subtitle, and No Can Do, collaborated/remixed
with John Hughes, Vyle and STS9, while also releasing some of his own
productions on Mush and Old Tacoma Records. Having originally
met at The San Francisco Art Institute several years ago, the Dark
Party project actually didn’t come together until 2005 - formed as an
outlet to pay tribute to the duo's favorite classic Electro, Disco
& Hip-Hop producers, while forging their own path towards the
perfect modern beat. Dark Party creates fun, upbeat, electro-funk
masterpieces - a bit more upbeat & dancier than their own
respective solo ventures. Their sound could sometimes be compared to
modern acts like Metro Area/Morgan Geist, Daft Punk, DFA, Jimmy Edgar,
while giving nods to classic dance beats from the 80’s & 90’s (like
Mantronix, Newcleus, Model 500/Juan Atkins, etc). It’s a sound that
equally pulls & pushes from the past, present and future, while the
songs smartly morph in and out of themselves with a masterful sense of
melody, rhythm and attention to detail. http://www.myspace.com/DrkPrtyhttp://www.EliotLipp/blogspot.com/Minnesota
native, now Brooklyn based, MUX MOOL has been blowing away a growing
fanbase throughout 2009. Mux Mool’s eclectic & fun dance/ hip hop
sound has been compared to great acts like Daft Punk, Dabrye,
Lindstrom, Eliot Lipp, Nosaj Thing, Free The Robots, etc. He puts on a
vibrant & energetic Live PA performance that gets concertgoers
dancing & having fun. He has shared the stage with acts like Matt
& Kim, Eliot Lipp, Dark Party (Eliot Lipp & Leo123), Nosaj
Thing, Machinedrum and much more. After being on the 'Best of iTunes' in 2006 with the song Lost and Found, he
hit best of again in 2008 with Best Track Death 9000 (Machinedrum
remix). That same year he was picked as Best New Artist with the 7-song
experiment titled Drum EP and had a song on the iTunes Best
Instrumental album pick. http://www.myspace.com/muxmool

Paesano Productions Presents
BLVD 'Live Electro Hip Hop' plus special guest Collab ProjectCatalyst Club, Santa Cruz - Friday, July 10 (CANCELED) $8 / $10, 21+, 10:00pm www.CatalystClub.comMt. Tallac Brewing Co. - Saturday, July 11$8 / $10, All Ages, 6:00pm www.PaesanoProductions.com
BLVD's genre bending, life affirming music inspires frenzy on the dance
floor that rings in the ears and minds of its audience long after the
party is over. Few bands can provoke the kind of electric atmosphere
that BLVD has at its shows. This unconventional mixture of hip-hop
vocals, rock guitars, street beats, and sub woofing bass is enough to
galvanize and convert any crowd into a devoted fan base.
2008 was a dizzying blur of firsts and foremost for the San Francisco
based band BLVD. While whipping up crowds across the US with their
fresh urban sounds this four-piece has positioned itself as a new
champion of the burgeoning live electronic movement. The fallout of
BLVD's blitz on premier west coast festivals in '08 (High Sierra Music
Festival, Earthdance, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Lightning in a
Bottle, Shambhala, etc) lead to several licensing deals with
conglomerates such as Victoria’s Secret, AOL, CBS, MTV and more. The
band dropped its full length release (Music for People) last summer and
toured heavily as the album garnered critical acclaim and remained in
the top 40 on CMJ charts for 6 weeks. The release also got BLVD named
to the "Hot 100 Unsigned Artists" of 2008 by Music Connection Magazine.
The group topped the year off with a show stealing set at Sea of
Dreams, the largest indoor NYE event in the US, alongside Thievery
Corporation and Bassnectar.
2009 is expected to be an equally exciting year for this scene setting
collaboration. They’re currently in the studio with well known producer
Jeff Saltzman ( Killers, Fischerspooner, Two Gallants, The Sounds)
crafting their follow up to 08’s Music For People and a spring tour
will take them up the west coast, east to Hampton, VA for a Phish after
show, and to the SXSW festival in Austin. The tour ends with a string
of dates alongside Lotus as they stop at the premier theaters in the
North East.

show was planned as a major kick off party to the new renovation in the
club, sound, lighting, stage, everything; which would be sick. Bad part
is, construction is not going to be completed in time. If you have purchased tix please contact the Catalyst. So
again we are very sorry but please let everyone know in the area the
show is no longer happening in Santa Cruz but we will be rescheduling a
much bigger better show soon. Good news, Tahoe on Saturday is still
very much on. So please come on up and party down with us at Mt Tallac

Paesano
Productions is proud to present Australian live electronic world beat superstar Ganga Giri for one very special
performance in the Northern California Nevada area Friday, May 22 at Opal Ultra
Lounge at MontBleu in South Lake Tahoe,
NV. Joining Ganga Giri will be Medicine Drum which features Earthdance
International founder Chris Dekker on drums and a collaboration of the best of
best in electronic music.
Ganga Giri
Ganga Giri mixes red natural elements with fat tribal beats and dirty funky
bass lines to create a unique tribal-technological deep earth dance experience.
Explosive and pulsating, at times ambient and flowing, the music is a pumping
percussive multi-layered experience of complex grooves and raw, deep natural
sound. Ganga himself is a rhythmic didgeridoo
virtuoso and percussionist-- an inspired music creator who's passion brings
people together in celebration of nowness in newness, a modern day corroboree
for all!
Representing key elements and inspirations of Australia
now, the shows are a modern/primitive multi-cultural celebration, a ‘melting
pot’ unifying many musical genres and cultures, bringing audiences world-wide a
reflection of today’s multicultural Australia. Ganga Giri's music has
been widely & wildly appreciated by music lovers in many countries across
the globe including Australia,
Japan, Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, Netherlands, New
Zealand and the United States, igniting audiences
in clubs, world music festivals and outdoor dance events. Carving a niche in
the DJ dominated world of dance music, Ganga Giri is an energetic, innovative
and incredibly live act.
Ganga Giri's full show blends an array of tribal percussion that includes Ganga's uniquely percussive style didj playing, congas,
djembe, bougarabou, Nigerian talking drum, mbira and more-- add to this a drizzling
of authentic indigenous moves with aboriginal dancers and hold on tight as
Ganga Giri sends audiences through the roof.

Medicine Drum
Fusing the latest cutting edge styles of progressive electronic dance music
with foundations of deep tribal rhythms and live vocals, MEDICINE DRUM are
recognized as one of the early music pioneers to cross the boundaries of
electronica, where organic meets digital. Founded in London in 1994 by percussionist and
Earthdance founder Chris Deckker, their music is a rich hybrid of styles and
textures. Not quite psy-trance, not quite techno and not quite future-dub,
Medicine Drum blend all these styles while interlacing them with driving,
earthy tribal percussion and world music influences.
Medicine Drum's sound and style has always been individual and mystical. The
band has supported some of the biggest names in dance music including Moby, The
Chemical Brothers, The Orb, Juno Reactor and Sound Tribe Sector 9 - and has
played all over the world including Japan, Morocco, South Africa, Canada,
London, Glastonbury Festival UK, Australia, Israel, Mexico, Europe, and the
USA.
Medicine Drum are back with a new all star line up featuring Greg Ellis on
drums (Juno Reactor, The Matrix), Rara Avis on electronics, Lisbeth Scott on
vocals (Peter Gabriel's "Last Temptation", Narnia) and special guests
MC Wisdom and MC Dakini Star (The Goddess Alchemy Project).
Medicine Drum continue to stretch the boundaries of electronica with their
dynamic live shows which often include ritual dance theatre and performances by
indigenous artists such as Native American drummers, African musicians and
dancers. Their cutting edge sound and visually stunning stage presence
continues to draw critical acclaim from around the world.
"...Watching them play live today is like a dance through time, a heady
slide into the depths of rhythms from the past and a dizzying propulsion into
the sounds of the morrow." -- Kary Stewart (Ignite Media London)

Productions is proud to announce Strings for Industry for one very
special performance Friday, May 8th, 2009 at Opal Ultra Lounge

will be Bill Nershi, front man for
the legendary String Cheese Incident and opening the show will be raising stars
Five Eyed Hand!
Strings for Industry are an all-star band spiraling out of the
seething brew that is the music community of Portland, Oregon.
Musical legends Darol Anger (violin) and Carlton Jackson (drums), have combined
forces with acknowledged monsters Scott Law (gtr) and Tye North (bass) for a
musical experience which embraces the length, width and depth of American
Music; in the great tradition of groups like The Band and NRBQ, this band
covers it all and unites traditions in their original songs and dances.
From the saloons of Telluride to the some of the most sought after
venues in America,
BILL NERSHI has delighted countless fans as a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter

Violinist, fiddler, composer, producer and educator, DAROL ANGER is at

string musicians, among them Stephane Grappelli, Mark O’Connor, Bela Fleck,
Tony Rice, David Grisman and Vassar Clements.
Singer-songwriter-instrumentalist SCOTT LAW’s fiery guitar and

The LA Times has described CARLTON JACKSON's drumming as being
"intensely musical." This phrase also perfectly describes Carlton, a nationally
known first call musician in the industry. His incisive style & mastery of
various music genres has made him a natural choice for his work in live
performance, feature films, television and radio.
