Oh hi there... Are you sitting down? Lots to tell you... As well as all the one-off festival shows with my band over the coming summer I'm also doing a kind of mini-tour next month, by myself with just my acoustic guitar this time, dates and info available on this very site, do come along!... I've just finished shooting a video for 'Fast Friends' with director Gemma Lee, should be on a screen somewhere pretty soon and the single will be released on itunes shortly as well (along with a few live b-sides too)... And speaking of screens, I believe the show we did for JJJ at the Troubadour in Brisbane last month will be broadcast on JJJ and JTV/ABC TV this week, check back here for specific details soon... What else?... Parallel Lions have just released their debut album! I highly recommend picking up a copy... Alright, that'll do for now... Thanks.. PD

Morning all... Well, the tour winds up this weekend with shows in Ballarat
and San Remo, this tour has been so much fun I really don't want it to end,
I wish we had another fifteen shows to play... Thanks to everyone who gave
us such a regal reception in the Kingdom last Thursday and to everyone at
the two WA shows, after adjusting to the new feng shui at the Fly by Night
Club it was a definite highlight of the tour.. Right then, way out west on
Friday Night and Saturday in the far east, see you there!... PD

Now in its third season, Sonic Sessions is hosted by ABC Radio’s Lucky Oceans, who chats and jams with visiting musicians, offering a unique insight into the creative process.
Paul performs at this unique event on November 28th.

September 13, 2009 - Sunday
Last night a full house at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne were treated to quite a surprise after Paul and his band played a cracking set of songs from Everything is True... Clint and Stephanie joined Paul on stage to celebrate the fact that the evening marked 15 years to the day since the very first Something for Kate show. The band ran through a rousing rendition of Pinstripe, the crowd singing along at such volume, the band were almost drowned out. Quite an excellent way to mark a wonderful occasion.

September 11, 2009 - Friday

Well, the tour is now officially underway with last night's sold out show at Ruby's in Belgrave warming things up very nicely - Paul and band broke in new songs, old songs, solo numbers and some surprises to a fantastic Thursday night crowd. Next up is The Palais in Hepburn Springs tonight...
Also, for your chance to win tickets to selected shows on the tour visit the fine folks at Faster Louder here: http://www.fasterlouder.co..m.au/news/local/20219/Win-..Paul-Dempsey-passes.htm
