...which unfortunately happens all too often.  apparently following someone for two blocks trying to get clarification after being falsely accused of sending hateful and mysterious emails qualifies you as a "stalker".  whatever. 

and it was about time!  it's sad though cos i looked really cute in some of them.  i guess i can always photoshop them and repost them with his face wiped out.  it's always funny when people do that hehe ;D

i quit smoking june 17th and i haven't had a cigarette since.  it was a very emotional time.  i was up to a pack a day and my throat hurt and i was coughing all the time.  it was gross. not to mention all the money i was spending.  it's funny i think quitting smoking must be a lot like menopause cos i got hot flashes and i would cry at the drop of a hat.  but now i feel way better.  i didn't smoke for my first 19 years and it's interesting getting back to the state of mind i had then.  

it's funny though quitting smoking isn't really that hard. what's weird is that i find myself really loving the smell of cigarette smoke.  i have also had anxiety dreams in which i've smoked and felt really bad and then woke up totally relieved that it was only a dream.   the hard part was getting motivated to do it.  i think my motivation was that i wanted to prove to someone in particular that i could do it.  just drop it like that.  like a bad habit.  i think im happier now.

i just chew lot's of gum. 

as some of you may know, my amazing sister is teaching health stuff for the peace corps in nicaragua cos she's hardcore like that.  anyway, she wanted me to come up with a design for a mural that she was doing for the outpost in the town she lives in.  so i just thought i'd post the results.  im so proud of my sis!

i kept it simple for ease in painting and with some additions of their own it turned out a big success! awesome job amy!!!

so carrie and i were talking about getting old and she informed me that my nose will get an inch bigger by the time i die cos noses never stop growing.  so i said it's a good thing i'll die then cos if i lived forever eventually my nose would get bigger than the universe because it would just keep growing and growing.  oooh maybe douglas adams was really on to something in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy... maybe some aliens discoverd the secret to immortality and all we really  are is just some dust floating around in their big giant nostrils.  probably.
