Well, we finished recording four songs for our demo/ 7 inch at Indian Trails Studios with S Headstream. We should have those mixed etc next week and then up for your listening pleasure.

For those of you who need to record we highly recommend Indian Trails. They have great equipment, a relaxed atmosphere and good engineers, plus awesome results.  "You'll see....I'll be the hyena."

Ha!

Last night's show was awesome.
Nothing like an audience who is paying attention to really boost the mood.

It was cool to see all the new faces and the crowd was great!

TJ's has had a reputation for bad/no sound before but no more. Carlos did a great job and the stage and house sound were both perfect.

We will play there again for sure.

Thanks again to all that braved the rain and watched us!

We'd like to thank the Mad Scientists for having us out May 22 for the West Memphis Three benefit show and the people who were there.

It was a good time.

We would also like to apologize to J&J's for the damage to their basement's mortar and staff's eardrums.

Sincerely,
Phalanx

We'd like to thank Sattori for having us out and for rocking ass.
Connor, sorry about all the blood, hope neither of us have anything...;}

We'd like to thank all the people who came out, especially the kid with the long hair, thanks man, we like to see people get into it!
We would also like to apologize for the technical difficulties...seems the PA didn't like the rain or something.

Interesting observation?(note, rant to follow):
If you didn't like the music a band was playing why would you sit in a dark, LOUD basement trying to scream conversation over their ripping guitars and make fun of the people who were into it when you could easily walk your stupid ass upstairs and NOT be around it. Why would you also not realize that if their music is THAT loud and angry, they probably aren't pussy mutherfuckers who will put up with heckling from an MTV suckled 15yr old dumbshit who can't even count to 11, much less play in it.

It's the dilema of our age, my friends. Many kids out there have no taste, no motivation, no creativity and are basically dim eyed livestock.
We would like to challenge those of you in highschool who are sick of this to speak up. Fuckin don't let the stupids run things! Go find some Black Flag, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Fugazi, Husker Du, Stanford Prison Experiment etc..... listen to it. Notice that even if you don't like it all, that music has soul. Quite unlike this tinny, insipid, over produced shit like Flyleaf or Seether or whatever....
Go to shows, if you're from Denton, come to the basement and see Denton music upclose and personal.
Read some fucking books.
Turn off your TV...it is poison.
Fuck the news...it is entertainment, not fact.
Pick up a national geographic, there's cool shit in the world.
Realize that the US, your state, your town, isn't the only place in the world.
Think...sit in your room alone and think. Your parents will worry but that's what they are supposed to do while you're in Highschool.
Learn to enjoy being alone, it makes you realize what you TRULY want and who your real friends are.
Keep an open mind.
We can take things back from the livestock, you can help.

For future reference, Brook has no problem sacrificing a mic to crack stupid chicks' heads. Just saying.....

Luv,
Phalanx
