I'd like to thank everyone who came out (and stayed out!) on March 2 when we played at Rock Falls Tavern - I think I can safely say on behalf of the band that we had a great time . . . and speaking for myself, the first set was (literally) electrifying! I'll try to remember that polarity/grounding issue when we return to Rock Falls on May 11.

Jay, our lead guitarist just reminded me that I have been working on the keyboard.  Yes, it took him to remind me of something that I am working on!  Were thinking about adding it to our sound.  We will see how it goes.  I haven't played the piano or a keyboard in so many years. But, its starting to come back to me.  It really adds alot to our sound...a much richer sound that PHATTENS up Phatback.  So, please do not respond to any Guitarist Wanted ads that you may see floating around the net.  Just tellin' you now, so your feelin's are hurt when we don't call you back or email you back.  Yeah, were shallow...in a good way.  At least we WARN you before we IGNORE you! With a lawyer and a paralegal in the group, were pretty hip on the legal notices.  Oh, and if you have auditioned for us and you didn't hear back, it wasn't because you wern't good.  It was because "Mamma is on the Keys"!!!! and I probabaly lost your contact information.

I only put this up so that my own band mates will stop telling me that we still have an add up for "guitarist wanted", when it's actually an old blog that they are looking at.....Wingnut!

Established Richmond, Virginia - 5 piece, female fronted rock band playing a mix of classic rock, modern rock and blues is in search of a mastered guitarist with the ability to play both lead guitar and rhythm guitar. Must be able to supplement in both fashions & have prior band experience. Must be a fast learner and a self starter, because we have several commitments already booked and are actively booking to include club and bar atmospheres.
