I keep seeing magpies and having bad luck - perhaps I should move to another place where magpies are scarce. But then maybe they will just follow me there....

This the fastest batch of songs I have ever done. I recorded them on the evening of the 13th February and loaded them up before 1a.m. on the 14th. They were all recorded with my brand new Martin 00015 (at last I have got a Martin!).

I wrote this a few years ago at the height of the anti fox hunting campaign as a Fox's eye view but I suppose it could be about any survival struggle.

This is a simple little love song for my lady on Valentines day. Ah.

Uncle Charlie could be an unpleasant relative that you can't get rid of. Or a bad habit that you would rather be without.

THUNDERBIRD

This started out being about a car - I always fancied a Ford Thunderbird - but, like many songs, it ended up being about something entirely different. I guess its really about what inspires you.
