Please keep comments personal. This is MySpace, not YourSpace.

Please keep comments reasonably tactful. Assume your mother might read this, as some mothers do (and if you hate your mother, that's not my problem). I'm four days from 40, and in my dotage dream of a "kinder, gentler nation." That includes MySpace comments sections free of anything likely to offend. Err on the side of caution if in doubt.

Please don't gratuitously pimp your profile with any generic, impersonal text message, image or sound file that doesn't directly have something to do with you and me. If it does directly pertain to us, and you absolutely must post an image or sound file, please, for the love of all that is holy, resize it to fit the column width.

If you are an artist of whatever variety--musician, painter, writer--please don't gratuitously pimp your profile with show promos, mix promos, or any promo other than a very concise TEXT ONLY (html text links are okay) comment. Anything with a .gif or .jpg will be deleted immediately.

Loath as I am to pimp anything on MySpace, if you would please take a moment and add this as a friend, that would be swell.

It's not just another band clawing for your attention; it's me--your actual friend--and Amy. It's been a long time in coming, but it's finally coming.

If you like what you hear, do what people do when they're enthusiastic about something. Hopefully, there'll be more tracks to check out soon too. Send the proprietor (not me) a message and bother him.

Did you know that another band just released an album with the exact same name?

How terribly galling it is every time they show up on MySpace's home page featured artist section. You'd think a label as good, old, and respectable as Subpop would do due diligence.

Very disappointing.

Damn if I've not been on teh intarwebs since like the days of 2.8 baud modems, and I can't figure out how to comment in my own comments.

Can you do that?
