If you are given a gift, from Creator why should it be hidden, so no
eyes see...???? Gifts given are meant to be shared, knowledge
....Shared ..... All things in life through the Creators name, are
intended to be shared. The air, water, cultures, brotherhood, lives,
every essence of this world every animal, shared in Brotherhood.....We
cannot become the society we Dream of, observe the Peace in this world
that WE ALL seek...... Without Sharing... Blessings..... PW....

I was raised poor in money but so very rich in family and Love. By the time I could walk I knew every inch of the 100 acres we lived on, by 5 years old I was riding the milk cow...at 6... a horse was considered and bought, to save the cow... walking behind the wagon picking corn by hand when I was 8, weeding a garden that seemed so very huge at the time, but also strolling down the rows, eating what ever I fancied, apples, cherries, pears... as soon as I was big enough an added chore was to go out to the well and pump and bring in water. Firewood for the Pot Belly stove in my parents bedroom.... that even though kept well stoked always there was a chill in the old 2 story. Snow drifts on the inside of the window and on the floor of our bedroom, 5 children one feather bed a goose down comforter and lots of quilts... Spring comes whipporwills sang at night the most Beautiful call I have ever heard.... at 10... I kissed my first girl, went to my first dance...learned things the heart felt that were very new to me. Pretty exciting time in life... Then illness... double pneumonia , weeks and weeks in the hospital, the oxygen tent, what seemed like hundreds of shots, from the hips to the thighs all bruised, my parents crying to the Doctors for me...begging them for my life...a small plastic figure to keep me company, when all others had to go home... Pluto from Walt Disney... He still makes me smile. Soon though I was driving the tractor, taking turns, not being able to reach the pedals but just hold it right in the rows with Dad always by me, my brothers and my Mother picking corn as well, tossing it into the wagon with the occasional one whizzing by me, and an "Oh I am Sorry I almost Hit You" from a Brother, then the snicker you hear shortly after... Fresh watermelon, fresh cantaloupe, but as always the drawback, a wringer washer and lots of clothes, hanging them on the line, and the ironing..school flew by as did time, the Military called I went, papers signed at 17 years old, out before my 21st birthday..served and came out Honorably, have lived homeless, making a can of cold chili into 2 meals, finding tackle and catching fish that should have been used for bait and cooking them right on the lakeshore, stealthfully crawling into gardens at night, taking just enough to fill that empty spot that real hunger often comes from..Tying myself into a tree to sleep at night .. things and people roam at night, you do not want to get caught on the ground in either case...fast asleep....Finally a job... $3.00 an hour, I was rich...then my GI Bill payed for school, majoring Fine Art.... a year short of graduation life fell hard and I had to leave, never getting to return, back to work, Moving to Littlefork Minnesota, 7 miles from the Canadian Border, almost 2 years there, working a lumber mill with the fresh pine right out of the woods. Then to St. Paul, almost 2 years there as well. So time and life has lead me to where I am now, hardships, failed marriage of 24 years, children grown, "My Rollercoaster In Life", would I get back on that ride again if I had the choice..? Yes.......Good, Bad, Tears or laughter, none could be replaced, all are precious.... I Pray each of you can look back and see the good through the bad, I wish you all Peace...In Your Heart, Spirit, and Souls, Thank You all my friends, for you have added another chapter to my book of life, another page I can reread later in time, and Smile... Many Blessings Always...
always, Pinewhispers....

Dad, Every year, your birthday reminds me how grateful I am that you are my father. With all that’s going on in the world today, I’m thankful I get to watch you, to look up to you. What a privilege it is to observe your strength, your competence, and your kindness. I am so blessed to have been under your wing, your protection, your care, being able to learn important life lessons from you. If all fathers were like you, the world would be a very different and much better place. Happy Birthday, Dad, Love, Donna
This is from my Daughter, this is what I woke to on my page this morning, there is no doubt being a parent can be very trying, just as being a child can, ....but.....when you get this kind of Love back..... there have been no trials and tribulations that have not been well worth the effort from both Child and Parent... I don't believe there is anything in this world that can rival the feelings of Happiness that words like this can bring to some one who just didn't think he was doing a good enough job.... I Thank God I have done something right.. I Pray that each and every parent out here, has had the chance to get the Ultimate Payback in Life..... Many Blessings

In the eyes of others, who is right and who is wrong, does not matter,
in life sometimes you lead, and sometimes you follow...The main point
is to accept what comes, and never look back. Some bridges you leave
alone, you may need to cross them again, some you burn, so you never
"have" to cross them again. I believe I have burned all the right
bridges.
