Current mood:  grateful
Hey Everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed your first official weekend of Summer! I have had a pretty busy start to my Summer. Mine, along with Shelley's family, just got back a few weeks ago from Rosemary Beach. It was a wonderful get-a-way week with my family to just spend time together and relax. There are some pictures below from the trip. Spence has been playing on a travel basketball team, so we have been pretty busy with that too. I LOVE watching them play!!!!! They're so competitive!! On top of all of that... we're getting a puppy in a few weeks!! Yay!!! The boys are so excited and we're going to name her Sooner! I will make sure and post pictures of her when we get her.

Also if any of you are in the Nashville area, we will be having a concert at Fellowship Bible Church in Franklin, TN on Saturday June 28th, benefiting a family who is adopting two precious kids from Uganda. All the info for it is on our website, on the tour page

I'd also like to share with you a great hands on opportunity for those of you interested in making a difference for orphans in Africa. We have recently been working with The Raining Season, a non-profit organization that provides relief to orphan children and impoverished families living in Sierra Leone, West Africa. They are in the planning stages of opening a children's home that will house 86 orphans. They will open the doors to the facility in September of this year. In order to pay for the facility they have launched a fundraiser called "The $100 Challenge." They are looking for AT LEAST 200 individuals to give a one time, tax deductible, donation of $100. I challenge you to watch the video below and join with us in making a difference in the lives of these children. Together, not only can we change a life, but we can change the world, one child at a time.

Click on this link to learn more about how you can take part in the $100 Challenge.

Love you all and hope to see you out on the road soon!!

Hey Everyone! It's about time for summer and I can't WAIT! I will be going to the beach at the end of the month, I'm so ready for sand, sun and relaxation. It's been raining here in Nashville for weeks...so we're all saying BRING ON THE SUN! We will make sure and share pictures with you all when we get back!

I wanted to let you in on a few really cool things we are doing that involve YOU ...
First off we now have a Facebook page! (Point-of Grace) YAY! Add us if you have one! We're all pretty new at it but I think we're all going to be very addicted...

Secondly, We ALL now have Twitters, we're totally up with the times. :) We are going to start doing some really fun things on our Twitter and we're SO excited to share it with you! On show days, we will be hiding 2 TICKETS and 2 MEET AND GREETS to our show somewhere in the town we will be playing...and it will be a race... first person to find them gets them! It's as easy as that! We will all Twitter the day of the show (around noon), where they are hidden. We're starting this on Friday when we're in Richmond! So if you don't have a Twitter account yet sign on up, and if you're not following us make sure you are! We will be announcing some VERY exciting things on our Twitter!!!

Hey everybody,

I'm recouping from a long week of GMA and concerts. It was quite an eventful week. The good news....... We won a Dove Award!!! Yay!!!! Bad news....... I wasn't there to accept the award because I got in a wreck on the way to the Doves. AND NO IT WASN' T my fault!!! I was in the right lane about to exit off the hwy and the guy beside me swerved into me while trying to avoid the brake lights in front of him. Leigh and our friend Jessie were in the car with me. Thankfully, no one was hurt. It happened in 5 oclock traffic and could've been really bad. It was quite funny actually as I stood by the side of the road in my Dove outfit on the warmest day we've had this year. Someone we knew pulled over when he saw us and took Leigh on to the award show. I was thankful she made it in time. So, that left Jessie and I to wait for the police to come. I can't imagine what people were thinking as they drove by and saw us standing there all dressed up. The funniest was pulling up to valet at the Doves once we finally got there and me trying to get out of my door that would barely open. REAL COOL!!!! The valet was looking at me like "What in the world?"

Now, I'm driving a mini van while waiting for my car to be fixed. I'm really not the minivan type, but I'll have to say that they drive really nice:) Hopefully it won't be too much longer. Overall, I'm grateful that we were all safe. Its another reminder that life's detours can cause me to once again be reminded of how blessed I am for the people in my life and that cars and stuff don't really matter. Hope the pictures make you smile. Have a blessed day.

Hello friends,

I hope this finds you enjoying this beautiful springtime weather! Today was absolutely gorgeous in Nashville, and Caroline and I had good time planting flowers and getting the back porch ready for summer.

We had a very busy time last week during GMA week here in Nashville. One of the highlights was getting to perform our new single "King of the World" at the Word Big Hits luncheon. It just shipped to radio last week, so be sure to call in and request it! The song is really our tribute to our own fathers and the incredible role they played and continue to play in our own lives. We are also thrilled to partner with Zonderkids Publishing on a brand new children's book they are releasing called "Dance Me Daddy".

If you have small children, you HAVE to check out www.dancemedaddy.com and get a copy of the book. Our single, "King of the World" is included in the back and I know your kids will love it!! (And from what we can tell, dads will too!!) I don't think you can ever celebrate the relationship between a father and his daughter enough. It is so important to nurture it, and Dance Me Daddy will help you do just that!

Here is the best part, they are running a contest on the website where you can win your dad or father figure in your life a 46" Sony Bravia Television. All you have to do enter is write a letter telling about your father's impact in your life. Just click on the contest button to check it out!! But hurry, Father's Day is just around the corner!

Thank you so much to all who voted and were responsible for our Dove Award for our song "I Wish". I hope ya'll like the video on our splash page, too. We had so much fun making it, even though it was literally 37 degrees outside!

Things we are looking forward to are going back into the studio again to record some more songs for our upcoming album and our tour with Mark Schultz this fall. We have lots of new tour dates added to the website so be sure to check out the tour page.

Thank you so very much also for your prayers for us as we are out on the road. Your letters and emails are so encouraging and really help us keep going!

We love you guys so much,
Shelley
