Current mood:  tired
Just finished getting recording the preformance. I'm tired but everything should be back to normal in a few days once I catch up on sleep.

I need to catch up on emails and everything else... sorry for being so far behind.

Hey everyone,

Glad to see a fair amount of people make it out to The Black List, Hadituptohere's and Fontana show on Friday. Everything went really well and it was a truly great show! TBL kicked so much ass... and they even broke their own rule of playing cover songs with back to back (GG Allin and Decendents). Everything sounded tight and so much energy, I was really floored and I've seen TBL more than anyone else on the planet. Needless to say TBL's game has stepped up and I couldn't be happier. As for Fontana and Hadituptoheres, I was impressed. I have seen HIUTH's before, but they really showed up on Friday. As for The Fontana's, it was a great surpirse as they played a killer set.

On an additional note, I'd really like to give Rev Scott from The Amino Acids props for turning around the 2500 club. Granted, its not out of the woods yet and there is a lot of shit that needs to be done to turn it into a great venue. (its a good punk venue and has always been, but I think Scott is trying to make it great venue for any kind of music). You can tell he's put some work into lining up bands, setting some mood effects like lighting figuring out the sound. Anyway, he's on the right track and if your looking for a venue in Detroit that's not in Hamtramck, I'd recommend that you talk to him about setting up a show.

On a shitty note, I missed out on the Cetan Clawson Revolution (myspace.com/thecetanclawsonrevolution) this weekend due to another blowout. I'm rather pissed off about it he's great, and he was playing with Rattlesnake Shake (which has Detroit's own Tony Muggs) and I was really hoping to catch them both. What can I say except that there is always a next time. I think Cetan's next show is at Andrew's in Ypsilanti. Can't wait!

Cheers,
Chris @ POTUS

Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to the Skaboy and Kristi benefit show this past weekend. I know, we suck, but we had previous plans that we couldn't get out of for the show. Anyway, according to the guys in The Black List, the show went great and hopefully the promotoers made some serious cash for Skayboy and Kristi.

We'll see everyone sometime soon... promise!
