 Greeting Dixie Lizard friends and fans,

Just a quick note to let everyone know there are five new tunes posted by Dixie Lizard. Dixie Lizard is actually me, Les Lewellyn and I play all instruments and sing. Also I wrote the tunes. These are homemade demos and soon will be replaced with studio recordings. But in the meantime I thought you might enjoy hearing some of my work. As far as the songs go "Long Gone" and "Superhero" are about my wife who passed away last June. "Long Gone" is more from my perspective and "Superhero" details her pain and her wanting the suffering to end. I hope you enjoy all of the tunes I've posted and just keep in mind they are not the finished versions which are currently being worked on in the studio.
Thanks to all of you who are my friends and for the emails you've sent encouraging me to go on with my music. It's been difficult to say the least but I'm evolving again and music has really been a blessing during this time of mourning.
