I am working a little bit with a guitarist:  Jary Hudson, I am currently seeking a female vocalist to accompany my crappy voice.  Maybe I can make myself sound a bit better.

My experiments in vocals so far, I don't like, but maybe you do...who knows.  When I hit on something that is good, I will let you all know.

So, are there any record labels out there that like what I am doing, and wanna produce a disc for me?  I keep working here, but no pay.  It's something that I live and love to do.  Every day I write something new, and work on something else.

I can create the graphics for the disc too, no need to go hiring a graphic artist for me, I am well rounded in the art field.

Coming soon is the talented Jary Dean Hudson on live guitar.  Jary has twenty years experience playing rock and roll, heavy metal, and blues.

Jary will be playing lead guitar to accompany David "Daas" Winn's Synth programming.

Finally getting better at this music thing....I can see a progression from experimental, to solidifying a style that I like to produce.

I am currently looking for people to collaborate with, if anyone knows....I exclusively write computer music....maybe I can send files to you to work with.

As of right now, CM has no lyrics.  Its all about the tune.  It's all about the way that sound interacts with itself.

I have been messing around with music and sound off and on since around 1999 when I became a DJ at a local night club.  DJ Das was my moniker then.

I only became interested in creating my own tunes after a few years when I ran across a new friend in the Columbia, MO area named DJ Dreg.  His work, and the work of Assemblage 23 inspired me to begin creating around 2007.

The only music software that I had was Sony Acid Music 5, the light version even, not PRO. 

The most recent addition to my creative suite has been some professional software:  Ableton Live 7, and professional equipment in my home.

I guess you ask what's up with no lyrics again?

Well, I am producing from a second bedroom in our home.  My home office, and I am still learning how to structure a tune.  Really I have about six to eighteen months worth of experience doing this, but it seems to me as though I am cruising right up the steep part of the learning curve here.

Oh, I will say that I really have only sung Karaoke in my past, not to bad at it, but well, I am still a bit afraid to put my voice to my music...So far any way.

I guess it's time to start writing some.

Yeah, it's kindof one of those things.  I chose Daas Helios as an internet moniker, a name to use on the internet, I guess.

My real name is David Winn.  I live in a little town in south central Missouri.  I have a degree in Fine Art, from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

My degree is specifically in photography and ceramics art, but later I decided to branch out a little into electronic music.  I am currently using Ableton Live 7, and the crappy version of Acid Music 7.  (need to get Acid Pro). 

I am using MySpace to promote my music, and hopefully get someone who wants to record and sell it for me to discover me.

This is a new one man band based out of south central Missouri.  A little town called Rolla.  My influences are techno synthpop based with a darker flavor. 

There are currently no lyrics to any of the music, as I am just starting out with learning musical composition. 

My previous life, and actually still current life, is as a graphic artist and designer.  I decided to add music to my artistic repetoir recently.

The name "The Crucifixion Machine" comes from a skit by Kid's in the Hall.  "Sam Ziddles Crucifixion Machine".

Although religious sounding, the name is not meant to invoke the notion that this is "Christian" music.

It's just music.

I would like to acknowledge that there is a death metal band based out of Pittsburg Pennsylvania with the same name.  Hey, if they get big, well I can change the band name, but I came up with it on my own, not to copy them.  No major competition intended here.

BTW, for those that have commented on the tunes, THANK YOU, see if you can get someone to add any of them to their profile...it's a great complement to get comments here.

Got some new music software...little bit of a learning curve here, but I am producing much better work.

I want to make the work a little more sophisticated and saleable!

I have been producing and producing.  Thankfully, like I am getting better since the first stuff that I produced. 

Ok, so here is the new deal, everything that I post on myspace is downloadable.  you can use it however you want, just do me the favor of giving me credit for the music some how.

Also, older stuff is now for sale on my "snocap" store.  I plan to reduce the price a bit to stimulate sales!
