Romans 8
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. 31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!!!!

Greetings Loyal Visitors of ye olde Red Lipstick Death page.. (we finally made it three words)
a lot of crazy has been going on in the RLD camp... first off.. we recorded a bunch of songs... started mixing them.. and then realized they were no good.. so we scrapped them. gonna reDO them . HOPEFULLY have something by the summer time.. all depends on how i (mr. bones) can see myself to the place of recording.. and how much caffeine i have in me.
another bit of news.. we have a second guitarist.. everyone welcome JT to the band. we've known this guy for years, and even stole some music from him when Steve was in PistolWhips with him... (had to mention that)
There is talk about a possible tour in the works. not really sure.. it would be after July when Garden Season is over... i really need to work on my gardening skills..
so.. we're probably gonna work on getting merchandise, recordings.. all the good stuff you wonderful fans need..
in this and in all things, remember that Christ reigns supreme. even tho things may look bleak.. or things may be great... Jesus Christ is on the throne.. He is Lord and we love Him..
He will cast your sins as far as east is from the west and let you know that you can be loved.. forgiven.. and set free...
many blessings on all who read this..
Luke "10:27" Bones

Obama said he's gonna bring change... but i thought that's what the Christians have been wanting... to change the world.. change the world for Jesus..
Redlipstick Death... we're a bunch of Christians that want to touch people and change the lives of the hurting and encourage the lives of the people that are seeking the same things we are seeking..
so how do we change lives when we're living like everyone else? everyone that believes in the saving power of Christ's blood needs to ask themselves this question.
How do we change lives when we would rather go out drinking than to praise the King of kings.. and instead of praying with the hurting, talking about what girls in church are worth dating???
and then there's the politics.. who cares who the president is gonna be?? we have a King.. and He will give us the things we need in His timing and when He sees that we can use them properly.
Hebrews 12 1Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Praise the Lord that Jesus Christ died for us.. when we accept Him as Lord, that is when the starting gun fires.. and we're off!!! and now... in order to run and win this race.. we have to shave off parts of our life that are holding us back.. just like how a swimmer will shave his legs to knock off seconds in a race.. we must knock out the ways of the world that are keeping us from excelling in God..
can i get an amen?? lol
don't let the ways of the world get you down. don't let the desires of others make you lose site of the prize.. our God is a King that is sovereign and will lead you in ways that you'd never even expect..
Praise God
Blessings to you and yours
Bones

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? How familiar these words with summertime travel. Growing up, sitting in the backseat of mom and dads car, on our way to a fun vacation spot. Always on the way, we were so excited to get there that our patience would wear thin. The result becomes a miserable ride and sometimes threats from the parental units.
In life, the same principle applies. Patience runs short and life becomes miserable. Arguments arise among spouses and friends. The economy thrives on our lack of patience. Fast food reigns supreme. Soup of the Day is served in minutes. And at the end of the day we lay tired and plagued with indigestion. Instant gratification is not instant enough.
When the topic of patience, taking time, and waiting come up, the cliche of Job comes up. Job is described as being a patient man. He refused to curse God when times got rough. He wanted to die, but he wouldnt take the easy way out. As Christians, we tend to try to take the easy way. Get rich quick schemes plague churches and denominations. Say a prayer, get saved.. Get out.. It is this concept that is taking away the character of the Body of Christ. We believe God will bless a need, but instead of waiting.. Instead of being still, we ask are we there yet? Christ is not sitting at the end of the race saying, what took you? He is the driver. God is in control of all things and He looks at our character.
How many times are parents pictured threatening their children, I will pull this car over if you dont stop. So in our begging and pleading, Our Father in Heaven also will pull a sidetrack because we do not have the character to actually receive the blessing He has for us.
9Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!" 10But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Throughout his time of suffering, Jobs friends came, at first to console, but then to critique. While they sat like back seat drivers, telling Job about his deeds, as if they knew him better than himself. Still, he remained steadfast.
Paul speaks of running the race. He does not actually mention winning the race, but running the race and getting to Jesus. Christ is not a philosopher that believes the End justifies the Means. He has all the time in the world. He created time. He is outside of time. It is what happens in daily life, the smile at a stranger, the coin in an out of time parking meter, the opening a door. The greatest commandment was not do great works in My name so that the entire world will be changed.. The greatest commandment was Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind, and your neighbor as yourself. Luke 10:27. When we take the time to love one another, love God, and love ourselves, the peace of Christ will come over us. Learning the patience that everyday we are not guaranteed to wake up, creates in us the strong moral character to persevere and allow God to do the works through us.
Trials come, adversity hits. Life is not a picnic here on earth. Instead, its a struggle to live a life of comfort and prosperity. Churches have begun preaching the Puritan style of ideology that the more you have, the more youre righteous. I sat in a church where the preacher would pray money cometh and instruct the congregation to do the same thing. Almost like the whole Prayer of Jabez.
God is the creator of all things. He lives outside of time and space, knowing the beginning from the end. If there is anything that matters most to Him, its not what we accomplish, but how we go about trying to accomplish it. The Fast-Food Christianese lifestyle is taking away the legs of the body of Christ. Just like Fast Food kills our bodies, the same health risks are true for the Church. Be patient. Stop and smell the coffee, you may never have another cup.

Wake up, sleepy heads!! let's take a look. how is everything going? which is more important to us right now? eternity or the present? are we more concerned about republican/democrat issues rather than spiritual issues? what about the church divisions over this dual (or should be duel) party system? RLD played a show on saturday. it was a free show at a church and it was pretty good. we were thrown for a loop when we showed up and ended up mainly playing with jazz/folk bands. i can't speak for anyone else but i was disturbed. "how could we get booked for this!" not that i was against the other musicians, but we were NOTHING like them.. they were all pretty and soft and i'm ugly and loud and a bit... bouncy. so here we had division. all because of style. i prayed.. i prayed.. and i prayed some more... and i realized.. we all had something in common. we all loved Jesus.. we were all Christians and we were all members of the same body. the crowd loved our music, to our surprise. the following day, i was walking through a mall with a wonderful lady, and suddenly this person saw us. as we walked past it was as if there was an invisible shield around us. i saw this woman raise her hands up like she just hit her head and stumbled backward. i could see that there was something not right with her spirit. i smiled. why did i smile? not because i know that there are still people oppressed and possessed, but because they recognize who we serve. so i have to ask everyone to take a step back and look at our lives. are we serving God or are we serving our own special needs with God as a trinket? it seems to me that the second option is what i have been falling under. i am not happy with myself. how can i sing against hypocrisy and blatant sins and evil when i am partaking in all of this stuff? how can i cry out for unity when i keep calling my guitarist a "liberal". and not really showing all the love i should (even tho its all just joking).. we're all going to die. no one is guaranteed another minute, but when its over, there is another place we go. some may argue with me, but hey.. this is what i believe and i am going to say.. this is what i KNOW.. lets pray more, read more, worship more... be christians before punks, christians before goths, christians before metalheads, and christians before "normies".. (hehe) that's all i have to say about that.. blessings Bones
