What a weekend - I was driving the minibus to my mates Stag party in Galway, everyone over did it on the friday night, and on Saturday I was the only one not drinking, It was like the Grand National watching them all fade away and slip off to the Hotel for an early night, I think only 4 of them lasted the distance, Alot of sorry heads on the bus back up the road yeaterday. Then I had to come home and listen to the wife slag me off because Donegal won the National League. Also our local school team Omagh CBS won the All-Ireland schools title and Tyrone won the Vocational Schools final.

OK so it's been a while since I made an entry, you know it's difficult for us shy and retiring types to expose our inner most secrets to the outside world.

But today I'm going to talk about GOLF a beautiful game I'm yet to master, some days are great but most are filled with misery. I had however been driving like a KING with my Maxfli 420cc driver, when someone poped up and told me I could drive even further with a 460cc (max legal size) - I duely jumped at the chance of adding another 10 yrds to my drive. What a mistake that turned out to be, despite the larger head and ultra flexible shaft and the £££££ I spent acquiring it, I couldn't drive the ball out of bed. Now in all that's holy, what's that all about!!!!! It's still only a driver much the same as the 420cc I knock the skin fo the ball with I just don't understand.

So I spent much £££ buying it, needlessly as it turned out, and now I'm going to spend more £££ with my local pro so he can also telll me how stupid I'd been.
