Well its that time of the year, when we get started on recording new songs. At the moment we are on song number 3 a few more to go still alot to be done, none of them has a name so far, not even the album has a working title.

The Lyrics are beeing pened by Jorge Ribeiro de Castro, and its supposed this time to be a conceptual thing both the music and the lyrics. These songs are a bit more melodic that the previous ones, still the heavier parts sound heavier so i guess all is fine.

Any label that reads this and think they are interested in a partnership just message us!

We have a new Drummer to record these new songs ( which will be announced soon ), and also a new place to mix/master the tunes (which might only be announced when done ).

Perhaps there will be a " single " released online this summer, so stay tunned.

Portuguese death metallers REQUIEM LAUS are now signed with french label 666 Production, more songs from their new album, "The Eternal Plague",were posted online on their MySpace page, the release date is April 30th out worldwide in Digipack for 15€ ( post included). The CD was recorded, mastered and mixed at Studio Underground in Sweden with Pelle Saether (SKYFIRE, DIABOLICAL, CARNAL FORGE, FLESHCRAWL). The lyrics for the album were penned by Portuguese writer Jorge Ribeiro de Castro. You can see the album artwork HERE.

yup the band is currently laying down the foundations for what is going to be the first full length cd...

the new tracks are being recorded, process that will end probably by january.
Then the mix & mastering part will be done by Pelle Saether at Studio Underground in Sweden ( again ). Since it all worked out well with the "promo 2006" cd.

expect faster agressive tracks, but still with lots of melody and some more slow doom moments.
