Tonight is rock and roll pizza party at the biltmore but i don't know if i can go.

problems standing in my way:

-there are things growing in the kitchen sink
-there are things growing in the dirty laundry
-have lost keys/wallet in the things growing in the living room
-can't think, overwhelmed by disaster, no clean socks

i am drifting into the arena of the unwell.

So instead of leaving my hovel to eat pizza and drink beer, I've stayed home, eaten the last of the ice cream and stared at the pickles for about 5 minutes.

The empty ice cream container, like a mother fucking cherry-on-top, has taken up the last of the exposed counter top and I know that leaving isn't going to fix anything.

So since I'm here, imprisoned by my own filth, let's share...

Dead Voices formed earlier this year.  We like rock and roll records, rock and roll shows, rock and roll parties and being nice guys (and girl).  We are pretty severe nerds (not in a smart way) but have good hearts and want to share rock and roll times with anyone who'll have em.

We've played 2 shows:
The Rickshaw with amazing bands WAR BABY + SIDE67
The Media Club with amazing bands PARTY AT THE MOONTOWER, BATTLE SNAKES

We have FOUR (count em!) songs recorded, which we recorded September 2009 with the fun-wizard JJ Heath of CARPENTER.  We have one song posted called Crooked Love, which is about being so love sick you lose your goddamned mind.  We'll post one or two more songs in the new year (2010 holy fuck!) and release an EP in February.

We'll also be releasing a SPLIT RECORD (split is a sexy word - i know) with the rock and roll sultans BATTLE SNAKES. This will happen in April 2010 (HF!) and will be followed by a tour (out to manitoba).

Alternatively we might NOT release an EP and save those songs for the SPLIT (sexy!).  Either way we will post some more music, so check back in January (or sooner cause I'm going to post a link to a radio show that played some of our tunes)!

Now it's time for me to turn around, away from the computer screen and face the mess that is my apt.

When I think of more things to share, I surely will.
