I have had such a good time at one of the oldest open mics in the nation!!
It is a great place to hear a wide variety of music as well as a great place to work out the details with the new band... Have fun (and tell a friend)

I got my tickets to bumbershoot in the mail (3 day PASS) and I'm online trying to figure out how to see ALL that I want to see. There are some definates... But as I go through the list to wade through the talent I'm not familiar with, I am getting a bit overwhealmed.  So I had the idea to ask your opinion.  Please feel free to tell me who you are going to see (if you are going) or who you would like to see (if you were going).
SO FAR I'm LOOKING @:
Everest, Adrian Xavier, Massey FergusonLow vs Diamond, Matt & Kim, Eleni Mandell OR Eric Hutchinson, The Old 97's, And The Long Winters (If not Ms. Crow)

That is just Day 1!!!
Feel free to help me or worn me about a band that might be a waste of time... And if you are going, let me know...

I have wanted to boost up my live shows...  I want them to be more colorful, have more ear candy, more than just a guy with a guitar...  After listening to my music a lot, I decided to get some gear.  I just invested in an Egnater Rebel 20 (Tube Amp) and a Gretsch electric guitar (It's Orange).  I also recently bought my 15 year old son (Bryce) a M Audio Axiom 49 (Keyboard).  The goal is to pull out more of those fantastic sounds created in the studio.  Bryce has been working hard to learn all the key parts from both records.  I'm picking out all the electric guitar (I already have the acoustic parts down).  And Bryce is even learning some of the Acoustic parts as well.  I'm excited for future shows... Future sounds... and even writing with electric!!!  Thanks for reading,

First, let me say how much I love the idea of podcasts... I have been on a good amount of them because I love the idea of the new format of radio. Of course this will not replace radio, but it will expand the ability for people to get their thoughts and favorite music out there to the public. I welcome ALL podacsters who love my songs to contact me about my music and their podcast.
Podcasts provide a way for people like me to expand their listening audience. Thanks to all those who have featured my tunes. The most recent podcast was posted by Mr. Bastian Ruehl. He featured two of my songs "Live" & "Monkey Cymbals" last week. I was flattered to be featured and I love the fact that I am making new friends in Germany (one of my top 5 favorite countries). The link to that podcast is:

My Family was privilaged enough to get a Guitar Hero World Tour for Christmas. I have to say that I was a bit sceptical about how much fun it would be. After the holiday, I have found myself a huge fan! It's so much fun because all 4 of us can play and I really think it has helped my musical timming (I was always a bit rough arround the edges with timming). Also, the music is fantastic!! It has taken me back on all sorts of journeys down memory lane). Anyway, just wanted to touch base. Feel free to post your comments!!! Robert Wade www.robertwade.net
