Good Morning Soldiers!
This is it!
For those of you who've had a chance to browse Silverbirch and can't wait to see what happens to Nudge next, I would ask you to please put your uniform on, prepare for battle and follow these orders:
 
1) Open up Amazon.com in your web browser.
2) Search for Silverbirch.
3) Purchase a copy of the book with your credit card.
4) Email me (query@robkaay.com) and tell me why you decided to purchase the book. (e.g. - To support an indie release / because you like the sample chapters / because you like the Myric (podcast) release / because you like my writing / because you feel sorry for me :-| / because I spammed the living crap out of you / etc...)
5) Expect my smiling reply.

G'day Guys!
Okay.  Silverbirch came out on Halloween, as expected, an extra special thanks must go out to those extra special friends who bought a copy on the day!!  Thank you, again.  I hope you like it :-)
But now, let's talk about the Silverbirch Guinea Pig Project.
This Wednesday, 4th November 2009, between the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm, I am inviting you to be a part of my Silverbirch Guinea Pig Project and I would be most grateful if you could find five minutes to do the following:
1) Open up Amazon.com in your web browser.
2) Search for Silverbirch.
3) Purchase a copy of the book with your credit card.
4) Email me (query@robkaay.com) and tell me why you decided to purchase the book. (e.g. - To support an indie release / because you like the sample chapters / because you like the Myric (podcast) release / because you like my writing / because you feel sorry for me :-| / because I spammed the living crap out of you / etc...)

Dear Friends, Loyal Followers, Spies, and even those of you who are only just hanging in there,

The three year creation process that has captivated my every waking moment (okay - even sometimes in my dreams) entitled Silverbirch; A Tear in the Fabric of the Night Sky is about to be released.
I declared a little while back that I would release the Paperback Version of the book on Halloween, and I'm here to tell you, I am delivering on that declaration.
This Saturday, October 31st 2009, my new speculative fiction novel entitled Silverbirch will be available for mass consumption.
However... at this point, I would like to ask you NOT to buy the book on Halloween. Instead, I would like to ask you to become a guinea pig in a little experiment I am planning to perform...

There are nearly 1000 of you on my mailing list (and who regularly check my website every month) and although a number like this doesn't exactly set readership records, I wonder what would happen if 20% of you, that's around 200 :-), all brought my new book on exactly the same day from Amazon.com(.)
If this happened, would it even make the bad-end of the Top 100?
Maybe.
I'd like to give it a shot.
And I hope you'd like to be a part of it.

I know, I know... You're already wondering why I feel the need to be a part of this corporate commercial chart process... And... You're wondering if my book is even worth buying in the first place.

I'll answer your first question, first... Because, I believe Silverbirch is the best piece of Art I have ever created and I want to share its message with the world. That message, of course, lies buried inside the book, and I want it to touch and surprise people in the same way it touched and surprised the hell out of me, as I was writing it!

Okay, okay... Nice spiel, I know.
So how am I going to convince you that my novel is even worth buying and possibly making the bad-end of the Amazon Top 100?
Firstly, I have created three "Myric" audible versions of the first three chapters.
