Yesterday I found a post that Carrie Underwood donated $200,000 to the Humane Society of the United States.  Her fans are saying, "it's for neutering and stuff", but a simple Google search would show: it's not.  Miss Underwood just handed over a ton of coin to help the largest Animal Rights Activist organization one Earth fight Farmers and Ranchers and anyone else that has an interest in animals.

While admiring a Facebook friend's photo gallery I read a comment about a shared love of text. Ironically, I realized that Signs and Literature are often my focus. 'Course I'm not firing a Canon 4500 SLR...I'm firing a Blackberry 9730....ummmm....arrrr!

In 2008 my Dad and I went to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada. We watched the first two rounds LIVE at the Thomas and Mack, the third at a casino with a satellite feed before flying home. Upon our return to Canada, I raced home to tune into round four and WHAM...no WNFR on television. OLN dropped Rodeo and the Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series (PBR BFTS). It was shocking, and withdrawl set in quite quickly.

I made it into the final 6 in AM 900 CHML's Talk Show Idol, and I was stoked to do my final segment in hopes of winning a week-long talk show on AM 900 CHML and a trip to and an All Inclusive trip for 2 to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. What started as a PBR Canada Cup Event in 2006 has grown into an Extreme Rodeo Event of mass proportions as Rawhide Rodeo produced the greatest show in western action sports at the Maritime Fall Fair in 2009 for the 4th consecutive year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Friday was the major portion of Round #1: hosting a 10 minute talk show. I struggled to decide on one topic. Everyone recommended something “heated”, and there are a few which I am very versed on, but, I wanted to save those for if/when I advance to Round #2 and have to host an hour.
