The Wedding of Holly & Sean

What can I say.... What a good looking couple and the photos taken by Rodney Ramos Productions will show! On their special day we had a blast capturing Holly and Sean's wedding. The couple were a lot of fun and easy to work with, their wedding party, family and friends were a blast to be around with too. Everyone around made my job easy to do my job. The images captured on their wedding day will prove how much fun we had. I'm excited to share some of the images with you.

Danielle & Chris will be getting married this coming December and Rodney Ramos Productions will be there to capture their special day like we did for their engagement session. During their engagement session we had a great time. Danielle & Chris were fun to hang out with. They were so natural being together and in front of the camera. I can see the love they have for each other and we have images to show.

Rodney Ramos Productions looks forward to their wedding day. On their wedding day I expect to capture some wedding images as nice as their engagement portraits. It should be a fun day!! Congratulations with your engagement Danielle & Chris!!

The Wedding of Kelly & Steven

Kelly and Steven were recently married at the Jefferson Street Mansion in Benicia, California and Rodney Ramos Productions was honored to capture their wedding. They had a lovely wedding with family and close friends to witness this special event. I had a fun time capturing their special day and looking over their images Kelly and Steven had a joyful and unforgettable wedding. The images captured by Rodney Ramos Productions will help preserve their wedding day. Rodney Ramos Productions Donates To 1st Annual Black and White Gala's Fundraiser

 

The Heron School PTSA is hosting their first annual Heron Flyer's Black & White Gala this Saturday, October 17th from 6pm to 9pm at Oshima Sushi in Natomas, Sacramento.


Rodney Ramos Productions was proud to get involved by supporting their fundraiser by donating a portrait session along with a photo package for their silent auction.


I am regretfully sorry Rodney Ramos Productions will not be available to attend this fun event because I will be capturing a special wedding the same time of this event.  However, this event is expected and put together for a good cause so if you do not have any plans you should make plans to attend. It's an open event and again it's all for a good cause. Pre-sale ticket prices are only $35 per person and are available for purchase at the Heron School front office at 5151 Banfield Drive or at Oshima Sushi at 2071 Natomas Crossing Drive (cash or check only please).  Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event for $40 per person, so get your tickets now and save $5 per person !!!

 

Ticket includes event entry, buffet style appetizers and dinner (drinks not included), and cover charge for the Oshima's "Fugu Lounge" night club (starts at 10pm).  There will also be a live and silent auction featuring themed gift baskets and items donated by the teachers and staff of Heron School.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Heron School.

 

Don't let the "Black & White" or "Sushi" scare you off . . . just come dressed for a good time and expect to enjoy some great food which will include not only sushi, but lots of other delicious food that Oshima Sushi has come to be known for.  So come out and support Heron School . . . hope to see you there!

I just finished attending Collages.net's Blue Ocean Photography Business Tour Workshop. Collages' CEO Kevin Casey was the speaker.

Overall the workshop was informative. Kevin had some good business objectives and strategies. The workshop was also interaction with other local photographers who attended so I got to listen to other photographer's ideas and experiences. I left the workshop with some new ideas and goals to improve Rodney Ramos Productions' brand.

Now that I am finished with this workshop, tomorrow I head to Los Angeles to attend Beauty & Beast Photography Tour.

The speakers will be Hanson Fong and John Woodward. I am excited spending the day listening to Hanson and John talk about photography. They will have live demonstrations photographing live models. I've gone to other workshops Hanson Fong spoke at and enjoyed listening to him speak. He is the master at flow posing so I look forward hearing what's new and what working for him this year.

Swimsuit Modeling Session w/ Jessica

I've known and worked with Jessica for many years and it's always a pleasure working with her.

With this recent photo shoot I traveled out to San Diego to photograph Jessica in her own back yard. We took the photo session to the beach. It's been a couple of years since Jessica has posed in front of my camera but as you'll see the images we created Jessica has not missed a beat posing for me. Jessica is professional artistic and creative; she's a well-experienced model. Therefore, we work well together because she knows the pose and the look I want to capture so everything flows. With all said and done, I did not have any trouble producing a mixture of images for Jessica.

I do look forward working with Jessica again. Last year we planned on shooting in the snow but we lacked the snow. This year let hope for more snow so we can see more of Jessica.

Cassie ~ Elk Grove High School Class of 2009

Cassie Went to Elk Grove High School and recently graduated as Elk Grove's Class of 2009. We took High School Senior Portraits at the end of the school year for her graduation announcement. Cassie had three outfit changes during the session, and with the out come of her session we came out with some nice portraits. Congratulations to Cassie, I expect she is well into her college courses now..... Best of luck! The Wedding of Liliana & Mitchell ~ June 27, 2009

Liliana & Michell recently were married this past June in Dixon, California and Rodney Ramos Productions was their official photographers who captured their BIG wedding. With Liliana and Michell's wedding they had over 30 people in their wedding and 400 friends and family who attended their wedding. With all send and done Rodney Ramos Productions had a crew of 4 that day. We looked like a bunch of paparazzi's running around chasing to capture that perfect shot. I would like to thank Alex, Cesar, and Justin for the GREAT help that day. It was surely a long day but a fun one. As you will see with some of the images I am sharing with my Blog Readers Liliana and Mitchell will have a lot of nice images to pick through. I do want to thank them for having Rodney Ramos Productions as their wedding Photographer and like to wish them many years of happiness. Best wishes to them and their future together as man and wife.

Since they were updating their web site Rodney Ramos Productions had a nice opportunity to work with this nice group of people. They were photogenic and easy going so it was easy to work with them to capture the look they wanted for their web site. We had a good portrait session and as you will see we came out with some nice staff photos and group portraits for their web site. Brittany's High School Senior Portraits

Congratulation to Brittany who graduated from Fountainview Academy. I have gotten to know Brittany during her photo shoot with Rodney Ramos Productions. Brittany is very talented. She shared with me at her academy she was involved with the school band and the instrument she plays the violin. When Brittany is at home she takes care of her horse and tries to go riding every chance she gets.

Brittany was a natural in front of the camera. She warmed up very fast I thought she has had some modeling experience. As you will see how nice her images turned out Brittany made my job very easy. She may want to look into modeling while she continues her educations. She can surely use some of her Rodney Ramos Productions images towards her modeling portfolio. Brittany has the energy and the looks to be a model. 

I wish Brittany a successful future. It was a pleasure working with Brittany and I look forward working with her again in the near future.
