Roger Sanchez and his Stealth Live! party will kick off the summer season in style on the terrace at Amnesia on Tuesday 23rd June, just one week before the massive Release Yourself opening fiesta. For this exclusive 2009 Stealth Live! White Isle special Roger Sanchez is proud to be joined on the decks by the super credible, chart-busting Dirty Vegas, who have just produced the killer new track ‘Changes’ as well as the anthem for the recent International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza. And with not one but two Grammy Award winners on the bill, this is a party not to be missed!
 
2009 is shaping up to be a key year for the dynamic New York house don Roger Sanchez, with the release of two major mix compilations, including Release Yourself Vol. 8 on Roger’s own Stealth label; plus a #1 in the DMC Buzz Chart called ‘I Can't Live Without Music’ by The Transatlatins (aka Roger Sanchez and Ibiza’s DJ Oliver) featuring India. Now it’s time for Release Yourself Ibiza to launch into summer from its new home on the terrace of Amnesia, but before all that is Stealth Live! – headlined by Roger Sanchez and Dirty Vegas…
 
Following on from remixing the likes of Dizzie Rascal and Ladytron, this year Dirty Vegas have performed at an Obama inauguration event held in Washington DC alongside Dubfire, and they smashed Miami WMC. Next up, the Stealth Live! party will see possibly the biggest Dirty Vegas DJ set to be dropped on Ibiza this year and precedes live shows by the band at, among others, Glastonbury and Creamfields.
 
Say Dirty Vegas: ‘We are really pleased to be playing at the Stealth party at Amnesia on 23rd June for our good friend Roger, expect some four-deck madness plus special live vocal versions of our hits! This will be the perfect little break from our live Glastonbury rehearsals.’
 
Stealth Live! has held events in Ibiza for the past four years running, building a reputation for quality parties that are based around explosive live DJ sets, so expect nothing but the best. In addition, completing the all-star line-up are up-and-coming DJ/production duo Prok & Fitch and Amnesia resident Brian Cross.
 
For good reason did Mixmag tell us to ‘keep an eye on’ the UK’s Prok & Fitch last year – they rock! With tracks signed to Stealth including ‘Outro Lugar’ and, most recently, ‘The New Wave’, they are no strangers to the way the label rolls. This year they joined Roger in Miami, and they have already played Stealth Live! in Amsterdam in May; now they’re back to lay it down in Ibiza! What’s more, Stealth has two more upcoming Prok & Fitch releases planned, so watch this space…  
 
Resident at Amnesia Ibiza since 2003, Brian Cross has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the business. His tunes have fired up the country’s dancefloors for years and his profile in Spain is huge. Alongside Mar-T and Les Schmitz, Brian joined the multi-award winning club as part of the next generation of artists chosen to represent the sound of Amnesia in Ibiza, and on the Amnesia world tours that regularly rip it up from America to Australia. 
 
As with all Release Yourself parties this summer, the Stealth Live! showdown will start out with a sunset pre-party at Café Mambo. What better way to warm up for the long hot summer? Stealth Live! at Amnesia takes place on Tuesday 23rd June – just one week before the massive Release Yourself opening fiesta on Tuesday 30th June!

For almost a decade Roger’s Release Yourself concept has reinvented itself – and not only as an annual compilation, cherry-picked ‘n’ mixed by the master himself to showcase what’s hot and what’s going to be hot in house. Release Yourself is also a radio show with over 1.5 million listeners, and a pioneering International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) winning podcast that can now boast over 85,000 downloads per show. Plus, as all party aficionados know, Release Yourself is a full-on cosmopolitan event that embodies Roger’s rich musical heritage, the output of his label Stealth Records and his adventurous Latin spirit. These parties are set apart by their sumptuous design and, of course, Roger’s signature marathon DJ sets. 

Release Yourself club nights are renowned as some of the most epic and well produced on the party island of Ibiza. After blowing up at El Divino in 2001 the party relocated to Pacha, and from summer 2009 the show will continue every Tuesday from 30th June at Amnesia, IDMA winner of Best Global Club for the past three consecutive years. Here you will be able to enjoy the magic and splendour of Release Yourself out on the revamped terrace of Amnesia, as Armin van Buuren’s Armada night continues its charge inside. This year Release Yourself at Amnesia in Ibiza is the base for a series of parties in Miami, London and Amsterdam. 

Roger kicked off 2009 with the release of Roger Sanchez 3D, a triple mix album for Renaissance. Then there was Miami WMC, where peers such as David Guetta and even top pop sensation Ricky Martin stopped by to witness Roger’s storming seven-hour Release Yourself set at Mansion. There was also the Stealth Live! party at Set, which was probably the label’s best ever WMC event. Making Miami even more special was the sunny success of ‘I Can't Live Without Music’ by The Transatlatins (aka Roger Sanchez and Ibiza’s DJ Oliver) featuring songstress India, on Stealth. Described by journalist Lewis Dene as ‘massive in Miami’, with ‘summer longevity assured’, ‘I Can't Live Without Music’ went on to secure a #1 slot in the DMC Buzz Chart. 

Release Yourself is taking its direction from 2009’s theme of magic, and cabaret with a dark twist – a cabaret noir. As usual the artwork is stunning and this time around is based on a photo shoot that Roger completed with the amazingly talented Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf, whose previous clients includes Diesel, Elle and The New York Times.

Next on Stealth, featuring ‘I Can't Live Without Music’ – alongside no less than eight  exclusive new tracks! – is the 2CD Release Yourself Volume 8. Part one is Roger’s Pre-Party collection. Here, making fine company for the likes of Faithless and Mike Monday, you have exclusive tracks from Tuccillo and Veerus & Maxie Devine. Roger then moves up a gear with the Party selection, where exclusives roll in from Terry Viether & Per QX, Chris Kaeser, Jesse Garcia, Tiko’s Groove, Da Hool and Zenker, and Martin Accorsi. This year's Release Yourself at WMC was even bigger and hotter than last year! Mansion is a sexy yet underground-vibe club that is perfect for Release Yourself. I started the night at 11pm with a cue around the block and fantastic energy just from being in miami.

By 12:30 the floor was rammed and at around 1am I dropped my biggest track of the conference - The Transatlatins ft La India - "I Can't Live Without Music". Definitely a roof raiser for me this year! At 2am, Terri B jumped on stage and she and I did an impromptu rendition of the Laidback Luke mix of "Bang that Box" - man that girl can sing!

Loads of guests were roaming backstage including David Guetta, Luke, Tom Stephan and, of all people Ricky Martin!

At the Stealth party at SET, all the boys were in top form - Chris Moody and Baggi Begovic open up with funky and pumped up trax followed by Prok & Fitch
and then Todd Terry set it up nicely for me to take over.

The crowd was very up for it and the sound was tight! Baggi came back on after I finished and I
think this has been the best Stealth WMC party yet!

Our WMC bomb has landed ! The Transatlatins team up with the legendary India for "I Can't Live Without Music". The Transatlatins are no other than Roger Sanchez and DJ Oliver, who released only one track under this moniker prior. Their first release "Mysteriosa" on Stealth Records, was an instant classic and still is a track to play out in the after hours. We just re-released this classic on our Stealth Classics, Vol.1 EP. Roger wanted to revive this project, reached out to Oliver last summer and ended up in the studio together. When Roger road tested the instrumental people went crazy. Roger felt he needed to make a proper song out of this and got no less than the legendary and long time friend India on vocals. The result is a peaktime clubmonster with a fantastic sing along break. Finally there is a proper vocal house track around that puts a smile on your face from ear to ear: Just as house should be. Two weeks of promo resulted in a solid number 2 position in the DMC Buzz Chart this week and it will get better !! DJ support is still coming from all corners of the world. Besides the original, Jesse Garcia, Tom Stephan, Angel Manuel and Chris Moody & Oleas delivered great remixes for this not to be missed package.
