RoGue Learns How to Break Waves for Their Upcoming Music Video Shoot
When RoGue began to brainstorm concepts for their third and upcoming video shoot, the Southern California residents thought why not take advantage of their beautiful surroundings. The new video takes place on the beautiful beaches of Santa Monica and features several surfing sequences featuring RoGue and their newfound love for the water sport.
"None of us had ever surfed before so this was a huge challenge for all of us," said Erika RoShawn. "We had some really great teachers, and the support of several friends that surf, so it was a great experience and we learned pretty fast."
The video was shot on March 23 by up-and-coming fillmaker and UCLA alumni David Pierce. Though filled with lots of wate rsports and stunts, no band members were hurt in the making of the video. Well, except for Melina RoChelle. But she's feeling MUCH better. Thanks so much for all of the cards and flowers. She has regained almost all of her memory.
RoGue's new video will debut May 23, 2009 on You Tube.
By the way, do you know what day it is? Gotcha! As it turns out, we're just pulling your leg about the video, the surfing and Melina's mysterious accident. Hope you got a good laugh! We will have real updates soon about new music and videos, so stay tuned over the next few months.

5 Tips to Help You Stick to Your New Year's Resolutions
Each year we make resolutions to better ourselves in the New Year. Whether we want to lose a few pounds, become more organized, learn to manage our finances, or become a best-selling alternative soul band (*wink*), it can sometimes be hard to make our resolutions stick.
1. Stay positive. Don't start out begrudgingly. Get excited about your new goals and stay positive as you set out to reach them. 2. Don't get discouraged. Rome wasn't built overnight. It's very likely that you'll experience setbacks, and that's perfectly fine. Don't let setbacks get you down. Get back on the saddle, and on your way to completing your goals. 3. Celebrate along the way. Don't wait until the very end to reward yourself. Every bit of progress counts. So feel free to celebrate the milestones along the way with an ice cream cone or a new pair of shoes! 4. Seek support. If you have friends that have similar goals, mutual support can be a great way to help you hang in there. Meet for dinner once a month and share your challenges and tips for success. 5. Don't call it a resolution. Sometimes the very words "New Years Resolution" can psych you out before you're even out of the gate. Try renaming your resolutions. Pledges, goals or promises are just a few alternatives. We hope you make great use of these tips! And be sure to let us know how it goes!
Thanks again for checking out our last newsletter of the year. See you in 2009! Happy New Year!
Have a joyous holiday,
RoGue Erika RoShawn, Melina RoChelle, Krystle RoQuel
