Hi all

Just to let you know I am disappearing into the ether for a while so I won't be online much for a while now.

I have handed over the day to day running of Glastonbury Radio to my good friend and major shareholder Doug Hill, whom I feel sure will see that it moves forward and expands in the months and years ahead.

Thanks for all your support over the past few years.

Ross

Taken from the Glastonbury Radio news page this morning:-

After two and a half years at the helm, our current MD is leaving in January to start a six year law degree course, and this means Glastonbury Broadcasting Ltd is seeking a new Managing Director.

Initially it’s a voluntary position, but as the company grows, a salary should be payable.

We do however, expect the new MD to purchase a number of shares in the business to show his/her commitment to the company.

With the global growth of online radio, and the fact that the company is a finalist in a major awards ceremony later this week, we believe the business has a very bright future.
If you think you could take Glastonbury Radio to its next level then drop a CV and covering letter to studio@glastonburyradio.net explaining why you think you have what it takes.

A 14-year-old girl has died shortly after she was given a cervical cancer vaccine at school.

Natalie Morton

Natalie Morton was given the vaccine at her school

An "urgent" investigation is now under way by a health authority following the tragedy in Coventry.

Natalie Morton became ill at Blue Coat Church of England School after having the HPV (human papillomavirus) jab and was then taken to the city's University Hospital where she later died.

She had had the vaccine as part of the national immunisation programme to protect women against the disease.

A small number of other girls at the school also reported mild symptoms, such as dizziness and nausea, but were not admitted to hospital.
NHS Coventry said although no link had been made between Natalie's death and the vaccination, it had quarantined the batch used at the school as a "precautionary measure".
....
No link can be made between the death and the vaccine until all the facts are known and a post-mortem takes place.
Dr Caron Grainger, joint director for public health for NHS Coventry and Coventry City Council
In a letter to parents posted on the school's website, headteacher Dr Julie Roberts said a girl had suffered a "rare but extreme reaction" after being given the vaccine.
She added: "A number of other girls also reported being unwell and some were sent home. If your daughter has received a vaccine today we ask that you are extra vigilant regarding any signs or symptoms.

"The most common adverse reaction after the HPV1 vaccine is mild to moderate short-lasting pain at the injection site.

"An immediate, localised stinging sensation has been reported, as has reactions at the injection site. Other reactions reported include headache, muscle pain, fatigue and a low grade fever."

There are more than 100 types of human papillomavirus (HPV) but only 13 of them are known to cause cancer, according to the NHS.

The HPV vaccine protects against two strains of HPV that cause more than 70% of cases of cervical cancer in women.

The NHS started the HPV vaccination programme in September last year, offering vaccines to girls aged 12 and 13 and to 17 and 18-year-old girls.

Dr Caron Grainger, joint director for public health for NHS Coventry and Coventry City Council, said: "No link can be made between the death and the vaccine until all the facts are known and a post-mortem takes place.

"NHS Coventry has taken the proactive step to quarantine the batch of vaccine being used as a precautionary measure only and have informed the regulatory authority.
"We are conducting an urgent and full investigation into the events surrounding this tragedy."

For those of you who do not already know, I would like to draw your attention to the case of alleged hacker Gary McKinnon. (www.freegary.org.uk)

Gary suffers from Asbergers Syndrome, a form of Autism, and was arrested some years ago for hacking into the NASA computers trying to find out the truth about UFO's. At the time he was told by the arresting officer that if he admitted to the charges he would "probably get a few months community service", so he did. Since then the US Government have applied for his extradition and for him to face charges in the USA to face a potential 60 - 70 years in a US prison!!!

An extradition treaty was rushed in whilst David Blunkett was Home Secretary and is completely one sided. Our government will happily ship Gary out to the USA without any trial in the UK and without any PROOF of guilt. Yet the USA would not send one of theirs here without such proof or trial!

A London-based Human Rights firm of lawyers have said they will challenge the extradition treaty, but need an initial fighting fund of £5000 which I have been attempting to raise on my website, but to date we have raised less than £300. You can make a Paypal donation at http://nowthatsweird.co.uk/viewpage.php?page_id=48

Of late, pop stars such as Sting, Chrissie Hynde and Dave Gilmour have got behind Gary's case, and he also now has the support of the Daily Mail, Boris Johnson and various MP's, but still the home Secretary won't back down.

Gary needs YOUR support.

At the moment, one man is doing more than most to actually force change and take us out of the "corporate slavery" in which we exist as a "society"......

This weekend, we attended a two day seminar with John Harris (www.tpuc.org) at a secret location near Glastonbury, and boy was it worth it!

John went into far greater detail here, than he has time to do on his normal talks, and virtually everyone attending signed their affidavits to serve on HM The Queen before they left! Such was the enthusiasm and support for what John is doing.

Other speakers were called to the front, one a former soldier who saw some amazing stuff during his period of service in Northern Ireland, one a former Prison Officer who got embroiled in the "intelligence operation" after the 7/7 attacks, and John even got ME up to talk about a few subjects he knew I had studied and tested!!

The audience soon realised that "we the people" are no longer we the SHEEPLE, and we now have a voice, we now have the ammunition (i.e. the knowledge of the corrupt system)  and have found a way to challenge that corrupt system that has held us all in fear for so long. We can now lead a LAWFUL REBELLION and take back that power as the "sovereigns" that we all are!

I suggest you all spend some time reading the evidence on www.tpuc.org and realise that you don't HAVE to enter into their contracts, their "joinder" and thus their "control". Bailiffs CANNOT gain entry to your home if you follow these principles, Police authority can be challenged peacefully and in an amenial manner, you can CHALLENGE a magistrate, and you can legally STOP paying council tax, fines, TV licening etc.

Please don't take my word for this - see why so many people arer so excited by what John Harris is doing. Watch his full video presentation at www.tpuc.org

We ARE the change we all want to see.
