Best of the 20th Century CD + bonus disc now available!
Salt Lady Records is pleased to announce the release of Jonathan Rundman's newest album, The Best of Jonathan Rundman: 20 Songs from the 20th Century! Summarizing Jonathan's pre-2000 recording career (the music before the Sound Theology project) this album collects the best songs from Jonathan's first four albums (long out of print and unavailable), plus some previously unreleased tunes from that era!
Some people may say "But I have the vintage copies Jonathan's early albums 28 Days..., the Chandlers, Wherever, and Recital so why do I need to re-purchase all the same songs?"
Aha, good question...well, here's the amazing news: this new Best of album contains those classic songs in BRAND NEW forms: remixed, remastered, occasionally re-interpreted, and some even re-recorded, with super-enhanced audio production, PLUS four recordings that have NEVER been heard by anyone before!
ALSO we're thrilled to announce the inclusion of a special BONUS DISC entitled Myopia featuring twenty additional songs from Jonathan's vault of rarities. View complete song listings and album artwork here:
http://www.jonathanrundman.com/album_best.html
Guest musicians on the Best of the 20th Century album include Bruce Rundman, Echelon, Beki Hemingway, John Kerns, Troy Alexander, Mike Bradburn and Mark Balletto (of Dolly Varden), Dag Juhlin (of the Slugs and Poi Dog Pondering), Pat Tomek (of the Rainmakers), Matt Patrick (of Pegtop and the Sara Groves Band), and George Baum (of Lost And Found). All these fine musicians, Jonathan's should-have-been-hits, with FORTY SONGS total, all available for only $17 from the Salt Lady Records online store:
