HEY!

We are looking for 3 or more new girls between the ages of 13 to 20 that live in MD (all areas), Southern Virginia (Richmond, Virginia Beach), NYC or Upstate New York (Buffalo, Rochester) You have to be very familiar with the local music in your area. If you are a photographer or have design abilities that's a definite plus.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor 5 bands and give a report twice a month
- Write one article a month (interviews or reviews)
- Working as a pair and as a collective group
- Adhering to deadlines

Technically, you can say we're hiring writers, but it goes beyond that. Being on the Scene Trash staff is more than just writing. You won't get paid, but you'll get a free subscription for as long as you write for us, and something to put on your resume, and whatever else we may come up with as incentives, plus photo passes, and guest lists when needed!

We're pretty informal. We just ask that you stick to deadlines, and don't make us look bad! If you're interested send us an email, (not a message), with an About Me (well-written, spell checked and proofread). We want to know the basics like your age, where you live, how often you go to shows, your favorite bands, favorite venues, what type of experience you have, and we want you to get creative and tell us why you're awesome, why you love music (local especially), and why you want to write for us. Feel free to write more and don't forget your MySpace URL (and twitter link)!

We also want to know specifically if you're in college, your living situation, whether or not you have a car/driver's license, if you a have reliable computer w/internet access, and text messaging.

We're hiring until April 15th, so don't wait! So shoot us an email at apply@scenetrash.com, and we'll go from there.

Thanks!
Scene Trash
