On behalf of BT Magnum (Beat Electric), Paradise Lounge & myself, I'd like to offer my sincere & heartfelt thanks to those who came out Friday night to DISCOnotDISCO! Not only did the DJs represent with awesome tracks & great enthusiasm, but we also were able to get the GREAT visuals of That Mold Science (http://www.myspace.com/thatmoldscience ) to add to the party vibe. Thanks also go to Disco Tom Noble for the amazing flyer design! And the staff at Paradise Lounge - from servers to bouncers to the sound guy - were great to work with! Thanks, also, to all our friends to helped us in spreading the word about the party and coming out to support!

Personally, this party afforded me the chance to work with DJs who I admire & respect but never had a chance to interact with outside of my dancing to them DJing (Thanks BT Magnum, Bus Station John & Rebecca Watkins!) and it also gave me the chance to work with DJ friends I've known a long time, who got behind the disco concept wholeheartedly & rocked it (Thanks Hakobo, Rick Preston & Stanley!). Given the great feedback, there may be a future DISCOnotDISCO party and/or a future collaboration between Sergio (Go BANG!) & BT Magnum (Beat Electric)! He is thefirst person I've partnered up for parties, and was great to work with.

BUT now I (and the rest of the Team) focus my energy to promote and encourage you ALL to mark your calendars for the party that started it all, and keeps the movement going forward - Go BANG! Returning & starting MONTHLY at DECO SF! Saturday March 28 and every 4th Saturday thereafter!

Their beneficiary, Under One Roof, had to cancel their big gala last fall due to the economy and it was a big loss to over 30 HIV/AIDS agencies in the Bay Area.  Budgets are being cut and donations are way down ... so let's bump it up and pitch in to make sure People with HIV/AIDS get the services they need to maintain a decent quality of life. After months of promoting, we faced a serious obstacle when we had a last-minute venue change *less than a week before the event*! We were very fortunate to find a new home at the friendly, hospitable, and open-to-our-vibe DECO SF! Thank you, David, Roger, Robert, Gary and all the wonder DECO staff! Thanks also to Moe, who was our connection at the original venue and was also taken by surprise by its sudden closing. Being the true professional & friend, he gave us as much notice as he could, which allowed us to relocate and recover. It is uplifting - in a business that sometimes has flakes and unprofessional people - to work with such true pros like Moe & the Deco crew!

In spite of the last-minute venue change, we regrouped and you REPRESENTED by packing the club and strutting your fabulous stuff, exceeding our expectations and increasing attendance TEN TIMES OVER!

If you came to our previous party, we are sure you could sense the new & improved excitement, energy & TONSA SEXY PEOPLE that packed the party this time! People of all ages, all flavors, all styles, came together as one big happy family and BANG!ed the night away. This was what it was all about! *sigh*

I KNOW, it seems like a lot of information and it is, but I spent a weekend adjusting the settings and once you get it to your liking, it really is much better than clunky MySpace.
