Hi Sewing Friends:

Sewing is a hot topic once again thanks to reality TV shows like Project Runway and do-it-yourself home dec shows.  Sewing Salons where you can go to learn to sew or "hang out" with other creative sewers are popping up all across the country.

If you are thinking about learning to sew or getting back into sewing to either sew your own clothes, recycle or revamp some of your old ones or if you are into home dec, you might consider taking a sewing course.

To begin, learn how to operate a sewing machine by going to a sewing machine dealer in your area.  Once you have that mastered, try some basic sewing courses where you learn to sew simple projects.

The most convenient way to take a sewing course is to get a downloadable sewing course ebook.

You can work at your own pace whenever you want (even 2 AM) and you have a permanent copy of the detailed sewing instructions that you can use for many of your sewing projects or garments.

The best part is you don't have to travel anywhere and you don't have to take your own notes.  You don't have to worry about missing a class.  You don't have to wait for the class schedule to offer what you want.  The sewing information is always available to you.

It's a great way to express your creativity.  Your friends will think you are so "cool" when you tell them, "I made it!"

Check out this site for some common sense sewing courses that include a new fitting method for skirts and pants and  basic and couture sewing courses:

Hi Sewing Friends:

Are you looking for a good sewing blog written by a sewing teacher?

Check out Sewing Project Tips at http://sewingprojecttips.com

You will find a lot of free sewing projects, sewing techniques and sewing tips and other things sewing related.  Sewing Project Tips is a new sewing blog.  It is a sister site to Sewing Success Sewing Blog at http://1ststeptosewingsuccess.blogspot.com

Don't forget now you can have great fitting pants.  Don't have ugly, uncomfortable pants anymore.  Sew your pants and skirts to fit your unique body.  Find out how.  The old methods just don't work that well.  Right?  You haven't been successful yet.  So, it is time to check out my common sense fitting method at http://www.1ststeptosewingsuccess.com.

I developed this method for myself and my students who struggled long and hard to get good fit.  Now, sewing pants and skirts is quick, easy and very enjoyable because we know our pants and skirts fit without even trying them on until they are finished.  You can do this, too.

Tell me what you would like to know regarding sewing.  I will try to accommodate you.

To Your Sewing Success,

Marian

PS:  Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.  Now, I need to get busy sewing my Christmas gifts.  Check out my blogs for some ideas.
