This snazzy footwear came from an unexpected incident in my apartment in Savannah last summer. I was standing on a chair trying to kill a 7 inch spider in my closet, as it quickly ran at me full speed and freaked me out! This caused an attempt to jump out of the chair, but instead it folded on my foot and sent me crashing to the ground. An hour later I was in the hospital and was told that I not only sprained my ankle, but also broke a couple bones in my foot. Hey, at least I didn't get bit by the spider right?A few smonths later I could walk like a normal person again!

These Reeboks were a lucky find at one of my favorite Amvets Thrift Store in San Diego. I purchased them in December of 2002, which was my Junior year in High School. I remember the cost was only $2.50 seeing how it was half off Sunday. From the moment I acquired them, I wore them everywhere and was either commended for my awesome 80's style shoes or made fun of because they looked like 80's shoes. They are very comfortable and make any dull outfit look daring.

A few years ago I was invited to participate in a local art show in Baltimore about shoes. There were shoes made of spun sugar, shoes made of tin cans, shoes made of wire, shoes made of clay -- you get the idea. So I made this shoe you could eat. I worked on it all day, took it to the show, and we ate it.

Ive always loved shoes and have more pairs than I wear. I buy them and just look at them sometimes.

These goofy Joe boxers are so comfortable and convenient. As a single mum, an artist, and an artist's model, I am always on the go - and I love a bit of color. Last year I had a pair just like 'em but they got trashed while I was in England - my friends in Brighton walk everywhere. When the last remaining threads holding them together gave way, I immediately turned to Ebay with little hope of finding replacements. Lo and behold, there was an unworn pair waiting for me! They are half a size smaller than my original sevens, but I love them.
