It really upsets me that the level of homophobia in the country has gotten to this point. Ok, ok, free choice and all- I suppose if you want to think homosexuality is a "disease" and take some medicene to mess with your natural body chemicals to seem more "normal" and acceptable, thats your right.
 However, it makes me feel like crying to know that. I mean, if you're born gay, you're born gay. Whats the big fear? Its obviously natural. These damn drugs are unnatural. The rampant homophobia which many feel, the distrust of a natural, unharmful, perfectly benign state of being is unnatural. You can think whatever you want, but I feel like crying. Alot. And then screaming. And then marching in a parade. And then (hopefully) changing your mind.

So. I just spent the last 3 hours starting my Common Application. College is on the way! Too bad I have to write so many essays *cries in corner.* Oh well.
I got a new bed!!!! I'm so happy ^_^ No more back-aches for me! I had been sleeping on a centuries old, block-of-foam mattress bunkbed that I've had since elementary school. Literally? It was a block of foam The Agony! The Agony!
But now sleeping is GOOD!
My room is SO DAMN MESSY!!! I've got vacation crap all over the floor. Dirty clothes, suitcases, binders, notebooks...its all very chaotic.
Yesterday I was cooking dinner, and I burnt the chicken so bad that the stainless steel pan was black. Then today, when I made crepes for breakfast (not too bad, I must say) I set the pan on fire using Pam. An accident, I assure you. Think its a divine message?  Naaaw.
My best guy friend left for college today T_T We'll miss ya, Erik! Life will not be the same *cries in corner...again*
I just listened to a voicemail from my brother. It went like this:
"Biaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatch!"
Ahh. Sibling affection.

I had something I wanted to write about here...and instead, I've forgotten it and written a pretty random stream of conciousness. Oh well. I must sleep now!

I'm back, duckies! Aren't you all excited? Lbi was, as per usual, fantastic. Damn, I'm hungry. Must...ingest...organic fuel!

On the more mundane side of my life, today I got my photos developed! Yay! I'll scan them...eventually! In the mean time, Gracie-pooh sent me a few pics, so I'll put up a couple of those. I also talked to my former rabii today, who I love to pieces, and it turns out he was in my local drugstore when it got robbed! Wowzers. He was OK, and nobody tried to physically harm him. Which, I guess, would be bad...for them. This guy grew up in Brooklyn. He loves boxing. He could TOTALLY kick their asses. Totally.

Man, my dad is PISSY when he doesn't get enough sleep! He's been working really really hard the last two weeks, and staying up alot later than he should (watching the History chanel, reading a book, and eating, all at the same time. Multitasking!). Its bad for him, and it makes him cranky. When hes cranky, he sees insult in EVERYTHING *rolls eyes*. Mon Dieu. Then hes all, sad and tormented. And emo. My God! Its a revelation! My daddy is EMO!

That, my friends, if food for thought. Emo! Not just for teens anymore!

I got new glasses, cause I snapped the frame of my old ones. They're red, rectangular, and oh so awesome! Snazzy snazzy ^_^

SO I fixed the whole layout problem. Woopee! Now my myspace is cute AND legible. Such bliss! My b-day party is tomorrow, and I'm SO excited. We're gonna watch Rosemary's baby, which is supposed to be MEGA scary. I'm looking forward to it. :D DDR is also gonna be mega fun.

I'm at AU right now, taking college courses over the summer and chilling out in DC. I'm having such a great time! I've got 4 friends in my "gang": Adam, Paul, Grace, and Shamaya! Go us! I luuuuuv hanging out with you guys. Especially when we do stupid things, like watch Saw II.
