Is everyone doing ok?  It's certainly getting better.  I went to a Samhain service at church yesterday, all about our ancestors and departed loved ones so I was a little weepy throughout but that's alright.  Like I said, it's getting better.  Saturday at Melissa's I saw pictures of her party last year and there's one of Mel, myself, Chrissy and Claire that I really want a copy of.  We're all so happy.  (And sexy!)  I hope everyone had fun this weekend.  Let's see some costume pics, neh?
Here's a dance that Sensei posted.  We usually don't do choreography but she had a specific vision for this song.  Everything's choreographed until after the swords then I step up and lead a little improv.  She lost her sword a bit near the end which is weird, that never happened during practice.  She said it had something to do with the temperature being different from where we practice but I bet her different hairstyle had something to do with it too.  At any rate, someone in the audience told Kristin that this piece was the best performance of the night.

Last weekend for MD Ren Fest so you know I'm there.  Don't know if Jake or Kirsten can accompany me or if I can go tomorrow or Sunday.  I'll know tonight or tomorrow morning.  Give me a call if you want to come along.  I'll definitely be having a drink of that sweet honey wine for our sweet Claire.  I hope everyone's doing ok.

Matt H. says that there will be no viewing or funeral.  Claire wanted to be cremated and the police need to keep her for a while during the investigation.  Her mother is having a banquet in her honor soon.

Claire's gone, in a car accident, just like that.  I'd say it's unbelievable but I do believe it.  She was too good for us.  If anyone has any details for me, please let me know as soon as possible.
