See this pic?

That's our very own Robert Bale perusing the innards of our new album. He's happy. We all are. The album exists in physical space now, and O.E. will be releasing it sometime soon. So soon!

Come on down and see us play. We're headlining, so it'll be a bit of a late night. But on the plus side ... it won't be terrible hot! Fantastic.

Doors @ 9:00pm, 7 Dollars, At The Comet on Pike and 10th....

To hear this tune early, simply sign up for the OE newsletter at the following link and information will arrive shortly thereafter...

We've been silent for a while. Lurking in the shadows. But we're ready to play out again. And we will. End of July at the Comet. Watch out. We're going to debut some new tunes. And a whole new set of haircuts.

Love you,
Darby

"Brotherly" is finished! The art is done ... penned 'n' painted once again by the amazing and talented Mel Kadel -- visit www.melkadel.com to see her most recent work. We'll have previews of the album art up soon. Now we manufacture the discs and ... wait!

Not certain when Other Electricities will release the record, but late summer / early fall is a good guess. And there will be music videos! A few! Soon! Oh, it's all going to be so much fun.

Also, Darby made a full record himself. You can hear and download the whole thing here: dcmcdxviii.bandcamp.com

Things are happening!

Our album has been mastered, and is on its way to our label. Now we scare up some album art, shoot a video or two, and release it. Simple really. I suspect we'll get to post some new tracks in the next month or two. We'll see. Hang tight. We have. Whew....

And we'll be getting back to playing shows soon. Freddy went and got himself a masters degree while we were enjoying our down-time. Smartypants.

Thanks to everyone who made it happen....!

We put up some old songs, in preparation for the new songs. Apparently you can buy them directly from MySpace, or will be able to at some point in the near future.

Tah!

Other Electricities wants to release our new record some time this year. That's very kind of them. We're happy with it and we assume they are. New songs! I love the digital age. And we're gearing up to play more shows...

Also, Darby finished his record. He calls it "The Attic". Listen here:

Good stuff!
