There was a mouse in the basement of the visual arts building, we caught it. his name was andy? we kept him in a jug. we got some metal caging to make him a house. Heather was excited. We used some rad toolz. We gave him some cheeze and crackerz. Andy was still scared shitless. It was hard. But we finished. Andy was so excited he started bathing for the big event. During trasference, andy escaped and in all the confusion he ran down the hall. He went under a red pipe and into a hole in the wall. So we had a nice home with no habitant. Hopefully, our trap will work and we will have andy back.

Here are some pictures from my final project. My teacher hates me. I'm probably going to get like 65% for this??? I hope she chokes. Here's my final painting. It's supposed to be pop art? Just like Warhol, I'm pretending my fuck-ups were intentional. "My fuck ups are meant to criticize mass production, carelessness, blablabla." This piece is really and truly called "Mambo no.5". What it all means is that anything and everything that seems to be cool, indestructible or an ultimate pillar of timeless awesomeness will eventually fall/be ridiculed/become unimportant. Basically, the T-rex is not there because "dinosaurs are IN now"; T-rex was the most ferocious dinosaur ever. But where is he now? His bones are in a fuckin museum. Same thing with the '60s cadillac: apart from the nostalgic or retro loving cats, everybody else thinks the cadillac with wings in the back is butt-ugly. But back then, that car was the shit, right? So the background is filled with little stencils of dollar, euro and yen symbols, plus I added a louis vuitton logo for good mesure and effect. The background is melting into nothing and the last t-rex alive, in his pink caddy, he's looking back and saying: "fuck, I aint never gonna go outta style." And he keeps driving. Look closely, his tires are wearing thin. My neighbor had the Lou Bega CD. I would go to his place and play turok and we would play mambo no.5 over and over. His dad would come in and tell us that we should listen and try to apreciate the other song on the CD. Fuck that. The hit was all that mattered. Does Lou Bega count for anything today? Apart from washing cars and drinking himself to death every night wondering what the hell happened, no. He counts for nothing. This is not an anti-fashion painting. I'm a prety fashion-conscious guy (I think?). It's simply an anti-hype painting. The more something gets hyped, the higher the pedestal it will fall from. I would pay up to 200$ for a pair of shoes. I would never buy bape stars. Not because they are too hyped. I just think they're ugly. That's why I want to get more into customizing my things, DIY. I hate most of what I see on clothing racks, it's for the birds. Anyone got a pair of white shoes they want done up? Free of charge, since it's my first and I might fuck up. Anyways, here's the painting. Here's what happens when you don't clean your room and you just stack and stack and stack shit and then your Wu-Tang Manual ends up touching a decomposing banana. Fuuuuuuuck it smells. *Sorry for the shitty pictures, digital cameras are not my friend. My scanner can't scan 11x14 prints, let alon a 3x4 foot panel.

Yeah, I just realized that 33 photo posts is alot geez. I hope people actually read/look at this. Hokay, so First, a little prelude of drawing battles. Me and Phil (my new visual arts soulmate) started out doin' battles 2 weeks ago. The first one was sort of weak since we didn't have time. The one we did today totally blew my mind. The cool thing about it is you never know what the fuck the other person is going to draw. Like when Phil drew the "an nazi dun like me" with a fire breathing Adolf Hitler, I almost burst out laughing and thus the epic battles of boring art history class were born. (CLICK the picture for a bigger one to see all the details.) We were not High. We just have really fertile imaginations. On to the Photos. The Building I have nicknamed the behemoth. Trash is beatiful. Ali's kitty! An old building (duh) Vince That's it! Eat me!

My cats are my biggest source of inspiration. They are fantastic (although sometimes fussy models). They have a perfect coat of fur and are very mature. But every night, my parents want them in the basement, so they cannot roam the house. When my parents were gone on vacation, I would let them. They loved me. They would come and sleep on my bed where it was warm. They're pretty zen. Their favorite hangout spots are the patio screen door, the stairs, my windowsill and the ikea chair in the living room (they fight for it). They spend time cleaning each other and sleep on the carpet next to the screen door to get a tan. We don't let them outside because they are declawed in the front. Well, we let them outside sometimes but it depends on us: we tie them up to a leash with a stake in the middle of the yard. And we have to be watching them constantly or the wiggle loose and can run away. Checkers has tried to escape often enough. She succeded only once. She disappeared for 2 weeks. My sister was convinced we wouldn't find her and in any case, checkers was as dumb as they came so we didn't spend any more time on her retrieval efforts. The reason she was dumb was probably my fault though: brain dammage from backflips. So anyways we decide to get another cat, Zoe. Little furball was full of zest and insisted on sleeping on the desk even though it couldn't jump up there, we had to lift her up. She couldn't meow either, it was a dry raspy air exhalation. For a month we were content with our new, active, fun cat. Much better than our fat, boring, sack-of-shit Checkers. She was found by my sister's friend and we brought her back home. BATTLES ENSUED. Zoe thought she was the first cat to grace our home while checkers KNEW that SHE was queen shit. Anyways the battles raged on for about 3 months. Minute long death grapples. Chases around the house. Of course they couldn't claw each other and they bit like nerds (which is not very hard I am told) so there weren't any war wounds. But it was a source of entertainment for us humans. Okay so if you read all of that, thank you. I just had to vent my love for my cats. Yeah I love sack-of-shit Checkers too, because she got slimmer and fought for her rights when the usurper came in. Mad props for putting bitches in their place. Ok so on to the pictures. Checkers Zoe I don't usually like B&W pictures with color in em but if you look closely, you can see the blue sky in her eyes, I though it was special because they're always meowing to go outside. Zoe is a pornstar.
