Yes that’s right folks, no vlog this time but I’ve got something even better for you: some audio! I’ve been locked in my closet all day recording my song “My Bored Ol’ Heart” from scratch. "The closet recordings"... that's a nice name  for a new album, but I'm not sure I'll chose it for my upcoming one, although I have moved into the closet to continue my recordings. I'm doing some more vocal takes at home and ordered a mic stand from musiciansfriend.com much cheaper than Guitar Center which I basically live on top of. Being alone in the closet gives me the comfort of having no one listening, being able to try out different stuff even if it might sound weird or wrong without a clock ticking away in a studio session. So I'll probably do most of the vocals in here. Welcome to the tour!

I tought I would list a couple of places where I've put up some of my music for free. Since I use a lot of different social media sites I got lot of my music spread out both here and there. So I came up with this idea to compiled list of where you can download some of it for free.

Last.FM is a great place. I got all my albums up there. You can listen and download some of the songs.

Then we have ReverbNation.
I got a few tunes up there and you can also grab widgets with my songs or fancollector widgets and put on your blog.

I'm a fan of social media and are always looking for new way to spread my music and connect with new fans. Now I'm integrating my site with facebook and other social platforms.

I just added the ability to use your facebook account to comment and tell your friends about my music, upcoming albums, videos and other news you stumble upon while reading. In the coming weeks I will also implement functions to support more sites like Twitter, MySpace, Google, etc.

Everytime I need to do something, like recordings for a new album or something. I get this urge to do something else, something that I don't need to do. That's how I started doing the Christmas singles and all the other stuff that I do, just me, just by myself. So I guess it was no surprise that instead of going through the recorded files last week, I picked up the guitar and learned the old classic "Wichita Lineman". Years back I had a brief collaboration with Swedish artist Niclas Frisk (Atomic Swing, A Camp). He was the one who first played me this song and I still love it. So thank you Niclas! And here's how it turned out sounding in my kitchen...
