Current mood:  confident

I am sitting in the Borders café with my trusty IBM thinkpad writing a quiet scene for Rise and Walk: Pathogen. I am a little tired so my girlfriend Christy scored me a half-caff, 'cuz I don't handle full-strength coffee well anymore. She is here next to me throwing down some Photoshop magic on her laptop. I was just doing some thinking from the point of view of one of my characters when I looked up and saw out over the book store. The thought of all those books moved me to consider what I am working on. Rise and Walk has sold almost fourteen hundred books so far through Lulu, Createspace, and Amazon Kindle; way more than I ever dreamed. I am so grateful to the generous readers who have checked out Rise and Walk. I get messages on Facebook and My Space asking about the sequels and feel an immense responsibility to get the work just right. There are a lot of books out there. I gotta get mine finished...

Greetings friends. I have a little film related announcement. Two films that I helped out on are playing at the Another Hole In The Head Film Festival in San Francisco on the same night. Start out your evening with a short film that I edited and did the Zombie Effects for called Everything I Needed To Know About Zombies, I Learned From The Movies. Then brace yourself for a film that I helped out on and even have a cameo in, the infamous Black Devil Doll. All this goes down Friday, June 6th. Unfortunately I won't be able to make this screening but I thought some of you cats might want to check it out.
Check out the festival site and support indie films.

Hello there.  Sorry I haven't been that active here lately.  I have been writing everyday to finish Rise and Walk: Pathogen. I also have had a lot of video jobs to work on.  So, I've been busy.  Rise 2 is progressing and I should have a cover to post soon.
The big news is that I haven't had a cigarette since news years.  I really miss them but thought I should quit.  I didn't want to say much about it until I was successful and I figure that over a month was long enough.  On Monday it will be five weeks.

Take Care friends...
Greg
BTW.  As I type this, there is a really crappy Steven Segal movie on called Submerged.  What the hell happened to this cat?  I mean, what the hell does this guy eat, Salted Sweet Cream Butter and Hog-fat? His hair plugs are starting to show their original pubic kink as well.
Anyways, don't waste your time on it.

I attended the SiliCon Convention as a guest last weekend.  I posted a report on the event at my blog.  There were too many links and photos to repost it here so drop over to my blog to check out the event.  This was my first Rise and Walk Promtional event and everything went great.  I handed out many chapbooks and cards and the results generated lots of interest.  Rise and Walk has done very well on Amazon this past week.  Thanks to everyone for your support.

Greetings friends,

I apologize for my lack of posts lately.  I attended the SiliCon Science fiction and Horror convention last weekend and was very busy preparing for the event.  I had a great time.  I will be posting information on how I made my promotional materials as well as how the convention went in successive posts.  One of the first things that I had to do was create a press release about Rise and Walk.  One author in the forums was a little surprised that I had yet to make a press release given all the success that Rise and Walk has received.  I just didn't know what to say until very recently.  I researched other press releases for books and set to making my own.

I will have more updates soon but for now, here is my release.

Take Care,

Greg
