Football is back!! Yippee!! WooHoo!! That means little Sara has started to grow up and went to her first tailgating event prior to the Battle of I-4 at UCF this past weekend. As we all know, I've been attended both schools at some point in my evergrowing collegiate career... so I couldn't lose either way, but I was definately pulling for da Bulls. They just barely squeeked by, blowing a 2 TD lead with a Groethe inteception for a UCF TD. It was kinda fun to watch a game go into overtime. I have pictures from the game that I'll post as soon as I find the camera, key to posting any pictures is knowing where the source is. At any rate, the stadium is freaking scary! It's completely steel. Correctly coined the "erector set"." Twas a little frightening to be sitting there and fear for your life when everyone starts jumping up and down to cheer.
Every USF game I've been to, I have to continue to give the USF fans props. They're quick. Very smart with their cheers. At FAU last season is was FAwho in our glorified high school stadium, which by they way, isn't even ours. @ UCF, in the 3rd quarter with a 2 TD lead, they steal the UCF cheers (which I have a video of and will be posted).
Oh well... Kansas this week. FIU the following. If anyone is going to the FIU game, hit me up, we'll be tailgating again. Ok, I got hooked on it. What can I say, it was fun. Kristin kicked my ass on the nuts game. I really have no idea what the actual name of the game is called, but it's fun. And who doesn't like nuts???

Ok, that was a bit cheesy, but ya'll know I like it that way.... soooooo, what's new? For those of you who have asked and I've ignored (and I apologize greatly for), I love the job. It's fun, great group of people, and did I mention fun? Weird, I know, enjoying work. I still work to play, but at least I laugh a lot more now.
As for the Tropical downpour of the last couple days, we're doing fine over here. I managed to swim to my car this morning, inflate a raft underneath it and row to work today. Ok, so that's a slight exaggeration. Seriously, we got roughtly 14 inches of rain in my neck of the woods, but we're a rather new development that was intenionally built high for this specific reason, so no worries there. Even as I type this, we're getting more rain. Gotta love Fay.
As for the G-ma update... she was taken to the hospital last week and is finally moved from the hospital to a rehab center where hopefully she'll eat a little more and get her strength back so she'll be able to come home. For those of you who don't pay attention (and trust me, I take no offense), she had something on her kidney rupture which was causing her to bleed internally for about 5 days. They ended up taking the kidney out on Friday last week. So I've basically been at the hospital as soon as I get off work until they kick us out. I don't sleep much. Oh well. It has made for some very interesting conversations with her though. She got a "happy button" as we like to call it, otherwise known as a morphine drip. She was finally taken off the happy juice yesterday, which has made her a rather impatient patient. At any rate, she was looking much better tonight, although the grandma that I knew I have a feeling will never be back.
Well, I just thought I'd let all of you know that I haven't dropped off the face of the planet, I just have been extremely tied up in life as I know it on Planet Campbell. The good times just keep on rolling. If all continues to go well this week, I'm going to see if I can head out to B-town for the weekend. I need to desperately run away for a weekend. My stress levels are maxed out with the lack of sleep lately. So if (and that's a big IF) I get to head over there I'll give the usual suspects a call. I hope all is well with everyone and I'll definately start giving ya'll calls soon. I miss you!!!

What's going on everyone? It's about time, but I finally found a new job in the field that I've been busting my ass in for the past 3 years. I start on Monday. I'll be doing contract work for FPLE mapping new sites for wind farms. I'm pretty happy at the moment regarding that. A little nervous as well, but hey I'm finally doing what I want, and getting paid pretty well to do it. So you won't hear me complain. Today (Thursday) is my last day at my current job. I'm excited, happy, a little scared, and feeling somewhat guilty. But hey, when you've been working for the same company for 3 years, you may get a little loyalty built up with them if they've treated you right. Anyway, That's my big news of the recent times.
For those who have asked, my Grandmother is starting to do a little better these days. She's been through a full weeks worth of dialysis now and still having some troubles adjusting to it, but she's starting to move around a little bit now. I heard my Dad took her out for a walk today and they made it all the way to the end of the driveway. Yay!
Well, it's about time I get to sleep. I'm got a super long day tomorrow, last day, school, family coming in town... Fun, fun fun.... Have a wonderful 4th of July!!! Remember to get far enough away from the fireworks in order to maintain all 5 fingers.

The sememster is nearly over, and I can't wait. Ya'll will have to forgive me for being a bit distant this year. It's the only way I know how to get through all this. But starting next week, I'll be off from school for just shy of two months and hopefully will catch up on some much needed sleep. 3 down and 1 to go. I have one more final next Tuesday. Then it will be time to catch up.
I publicly apologize to those I've unintentionally blown off. So, Pat & Melissa, I'm sorry I missed your party! I've just been too caught up in trying to get things right over here that I haven't really been myself and haven't taken the time to just relax and chill with the people who are definately worth it. I promise, May and some of June will be a different story. Once I catch up on sleep and get out of the rut that I keep finding myself in and out of, I'll be back, full force with work the only responisbility.
Well, I'm off. Thanks for listening and understanding.

It's been in the process for a while now and has finally launched. Check out my website at www.thephotowalk.com
As many of you know, I've been taking pictures for quite some time now and have built up a pretty hefty collection. I've decided to go ahead and create a website and post some of my favorites there. Feel free to let me know what you think, unfortunately I'm having a difficult time getting the contact form on the page to work, so I apologize in advance if you try to contact me through that, the emails don't actually go through.
I hope you enjoy it!!! Let me know what ya think....
Thanks!
Sara

Current mood: tired
The highly anticipated, much desired, and completely senseless useless Sara facts blog. Sit back, relax, enjoy… And oh yes, it’s in the third person. What joy!!
- Sara enjoys long walks on the beach, at night, when it’s breezy and cool.
- Sara dislikes when anyone gets in her bubble, except for a certain tall handsome man.
- Sara enjoys being outside and taking pictures.
- Sara dislikes parents who yell at their kids in public for being kids. That’s what they do damn it!!!
- Sara loves staying up late talking on the phone, or online and feeling drained all the next day at work. (The co-workers tend to avoid me when she’s in that state)
- Sara doesn’t enjoy when people look at her like she’s crazy, you already know she is, just accept it and move on.
- Sara enjoys going to school. Weird, she knows, but I guess when you find something you’re interested in as opposed to just going to school to go, it’s a whole new ball game.
- Sara enjoyed showing a special someone around her hometown, even though she wanted to show this person so much more.
- Sara dislikes not having enough time for the things she loves to do and the people she loves to share them with.
- Sara was hoping to graduate in August, but doesn’t think it will happen until December. (F’n Blueberries!!!)
- Sara loves her parents very much, they offered to pay for my plane tickets to a country far, far away.
- It’s getting close to time to go back to Tampa because Sara misses her nephew incredibly. There’s nothing like a 4 year old to help you feel young again.
- Sara wishes things in life were different, and is on the path to changing them. This is the first time she’s worked hard for something and is being patient in the wait for the benefits.
- Sara wishes more of her friends had the same schedule as her, or relatively close to the same. It’s nice to have people to share experiences with. Unfortunately it doesn’t always happen.
- Sara’s new thing is going to zoos across the world. She knows she won’t get to all of them, but the big ones will be hit.
- Sara can’t wait to ruin someone. J
- Sara is usually exhausted and loves it.
And there’s where I end this lovely little factiod filled blog. Did you know that taking 4 classes for a total of 13 hours and working a full 40 hour week tends to be a bit stressful? Well, I hope you never have to find out what it feels like. I keep being told it’s all going to be worth it and I keep plowing through, but some days, like yesterday and today, I just don’t know why I’m doing this to myself. So, just realize that I may be cheery and upbeat (after 12pm usually) on the outside, but I’m one big ball of stress on the inside. There is one person who has constantly been helpful with keeping me under control though, and for that I thank you. You know who you are you Burt Reynolds knock off, but a much better looking one at that.
Alright my friends, you all be good to each other… much love, much love… Sara

A girl, working full time, going to school full time at night, and not having time to find that "special someone." What is she to do? Some days I find it difficult to even fathom someone in my life. Other days that's the only desire I have. Let's face it, it's difficult, really really difficult to figure out what your priorities are. Some days all I want is to find a new job. The only way to find a new job is to finish my degree, and then that becomes the priority. Some days all I want to do is get away and forget about all the things that need so much of my attention during the week that I don't even care about. Ramblings of a lost person. I find it quite humorous that I call myself a lost person. In the grand scheme of things, I know exactly what I want out of life, and better yet, I'm on the path to getting there. So now I find myself wondering what the hell is going to happen when I get to the end of this road and I have a new chapter to write. Usually change is welcome in my life, and this is no different, but I find myself oddly scared at the same time. Fear of the unknown I guess, and fear of failure. I know there's hundreds of little witty motivational remarks I could get, but please don't, I've heard them already, this is just Sara venting. I had the most fantastic extended weekend I've had in a really, really long time. For that, I thank an amazing friend. I needed that more than you'll ever know. Have you ever thought about in great detail how things will go with someone, and then nothing you imagined came to be? Well thats what happened this weekend and it was still incredible. I just wish I had more time. That's one of the major things missing in my life, time. I'm missing that one person I want to spend the time I don't have with. Funny how things are. One day, that's what I keep hearing and trying to tell myself. One day. Fucking blueberries man.

JERICHO IS BACK BABY!!!!
Ok, I know noone really cares about a post apocolyptic US, but damn it I do!! I've been waiting patiently, not annoying anyone about my favorite show, but tomorrow night, it's back. Finally Jericho has come back to TV! So, please tune it. It's a pretty great story being told about how people survive after nuclear bombs are dropped in our back yard. I love a good story about survival, and this one is told very well. CBS, Tuesday 10pm. Be there!! I'm leaving class early just for it. :) What can I say? There's not a lot of good tv around right now, what do you have to lose? Check it, be entertained.
