sonny's been in a submarine the last few seconds recording his next album/comic/book/film/reality tv show[delete as appropriate],the "strawberry lava flow " , so named after a sumptious cocktail found on his travels in japan.apparently he went insane trying to come up with "cant stop moving mark 2 ",he got commited,poor lad.
anyways,the cocktail's got him feeling much better, a bit like like don johnson circa miami vice,and
he's come back all inspired on the stuff ,and written a whole new batch of ,er "stuff" to confound your aural senses.possibly in a bad way.depends what your into.
the boy's tightened it up,coming back with beats leaner and meaner than a georgie f grilllin' machine,taking the next logical step in his illogical mind ,and
promising to get off the subbuteo table in time to record these incredible visions.

just bloggin in to thanx all who came to our live shows recently,it was a real blast.from glasgow to greece,belfast to istanbul,liverpool to paris,we kept our beats intact,our funk kosher.i got one more show,literally to see the year out at the hogmanay street party in edinburgh on...er..new year's eve of course,un-ably supporting me ole muckers,messrs. groove armada.should be real swell.
the rest of the year will see me watching bad tv,eating bad food,and wearing those paper hats you find in those lovely xmas crackers.oh,and telling unfunny jokes,and winning a keyring etc.yess,xmas is beckoning. new year will see me take me wares to the land of the rising 'sonn' itself,japan ,and then on to budapest,hungary.there's also a couple o remixes coming out stateside,one of which is johnny cash,the other is mel torme.but more of that to follow..

thanks to all n sundry for helping can't stop moving get in the ole pop charts.love,kisses,and hugs all round.mwah ,darlings,mwah !the sonny j roadshow had a great time ,squeezin in an acoustic set n chat with dermot o'leary, then ,this weekend up to glezga,for a raucous work out in strathclyde uni.props to nu girliez on the block,"the saturdays"who were happy to oblige with a drink or two with us good for nuttin's.then we steamrolled down to brighton,surviving a near plane crash,courtesy of ryan air, for the big beach boutique. a messy dj set of guilty pleasures seemed the only card to play.turned out to be the ace in the goddam pack.we turned the pointer sisters classic "jump" into a keep fit class for ravers. add a bit of lynrd skynrd,acid skiffle,dolly parton, salt n pepa n the like,wash it down with some deep durrty southern fried footstompers, and hey presto!the room was jumpin sweatier than a tequila night at some mexican banditos weekend shack.nods to some new friends,the kleptones,loose cannons,and south central whose respective bleeps rocked impressively.also a big howdy doody to ma 2 deaf girrlz who came n hung out. canterbury is next [3 oct]with the sonny j community service comin to town .then we got a date with our geordie friends[4 oct]see homepage for details..you been warned,friends.the beats are a comin your lonesome way.down in one,down in one . x
